What do you like best about the product?
The speed at which I can answer questions, dive in, segment/cohort and share dashboards. This is the primary value proposition for me.
I also love that I can easily show people with little data experience how to use the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model can be quite expensive for really large companies.
I often want to use features that I need to pay extra for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving reliable and easy authentication. The primary benefit is that I can answer more questions than ever without having to write SQL or having to wait minutes for a query to run.

What do you like best about the product?
It's important for our analysts to understand how our data is instrumented. It's very easy to explain how event and user properties work. It's easy to create and share dashboards and the Team feature is a convenient way to help socialize our data findings to different users. Our Amplitude support team has been top-notch. They are responsive and proactive, letting us know of new features we might leverage.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we need to remove unused events, it would be nice to have more control over filtering and selecting them. We also generate a huge number of dynamically named events, which are difficult to group into static custom events (it would help for custom events to support pattern matching at least for event names).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are better able to stitch user streams from different browsers and devices. This improves insight into our funnels compared to our prior analytics solution. As an administrator, reports about event usage and queries enable me to keep our data schema clean. We love being able to easily drill into user event streams to help answer usability and technical troubleshooting questions. Amplitude's overall ease of use has helped us to pull data from a variety of sources and perform analyses across them to answer more complex business questions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look into the APIs to make sure there is one for you. It's easy to set up test projects to help fine-tune your instrumentation and schema. Document your event descriptions and user properties as you go. If you run into a limitation, ask the Amplitude support team questions and suggest new features. They love to hear your feedback.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to create charts and dashboards that do exactly what you want them to do. There are a range of different chart types and functions you can use to do multiple different types of data analysis, like funnel analysis to determine friction points in your product, engagement and stickiness analysis as well as retention and user paths.
I like the ability to be able to share charts with people in a read-only format, even if they don't have access to amplitude themselves.
There is also alerting and anomaly detection which can be useful for detecting problems early.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could pre-emptively create charts for data I will eventually be sending to amplitude. At the moment you have to wait for at least one analytic event to come through to amplitude before you can select that event to use in a chart which means I have to wait until after I have released the code with these changes to create the charts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we're solving are understanding how our customers are using our products, how successful features we delivered are and where we can improve them in future iterations.

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive for Product Mgrs, Designers, Engineers and Product Analysts. This reduces the dependency on analysts and speeds up the process of learning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having any suggestions or statistics around usage of events etc. For example, if there are two instances of the same event then which one is used more often and by more users to create their dashboards. This would help in understanding the one that is more accurate

Understanding customer behavior, usage patterns and funnel breakpoints. Also for testing newly instrumented use cases

What do you like best about the product?
The learning curve to be able to use Amplitude for a variety of objectives is very low. They make it extremely easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
Given that price scales by events, we would like to have way to remotely configure client SDKs to stop sending old and deprecated events that are no longer useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Funnel analysis - We are easily able to view funnel drop offs between tap and view events and monitor long term trends.Filtering audience helps us create dashboards for multiple segments

What do you like best about the product?
Easy UX/UI to build and visualize data. Not just just the basic charts but also those that will generate value for our business. In addition to this, Amplitude has great support with their sales and CSMs that allowed markets like BK Argentina to really take advantage and analyze business and products results.
What do you dislike about the product?
Event orchestration after post sales implementation could be improved. For our type of business we struggle with management of these types of projects and perhaps more support from the CSM would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Today, we use amplitude as a support to our current analytics suite. However, as we are involving in this digital journey we expect to use it to build audiences, send those downstream and also manage KPIs for loyalty etc.. To be honest far too many use cases. At the end of the day, we want to maximize use by making it the central dashboard for all results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Most tech companies use analytics tools, what sets them apart is a clear alignment to your business objectives and Amplitude helps you build those objectives to drive YOUR results forward.

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is a fantastic self-serve product analytics tool for both technical and non-technical audiences. Great UI, easy to use, and provides a deep level of exploratory power to our entire Product organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because all data into Amplitude must be structured as an event, setting up the proper ETL pipeline into Amplitude can be time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits realized = time to value for product analytics insights, self serve tool for our product managers and engineers, deep level of insight into user lifecycle and engagement analytics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It can be an expensive tool depending on the amount of data being sent each month, but the costs are worth it. It's a great way for technical and non-technical team members to explore product engagement and user analytics.
