What do you like best about the product?
The velocity that we get data and chart visualization.

I don't find enough documentation and applied examples of how to use each feature.

Understand the user journey and channels that he comes from.

Great platform for product and discovery
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to filter events and get data to understand the user. The merge of users is impressive and the platform is very friendly to get user journeys and data.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have any pre-defined chart, everything we have to do ourselves. Also, the marketing parameters for attribution do not work correctly; for example, to see if we have an SEO entrance, we have no way to see it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easy for the product team to test hypotheses and design AB tests. They can have a complete look over their data and make informed decisions regarding what they are trying.
Easy to generate simple analysis about the users, but hard to do a little bit more complex stuff
What do you like best about the product?
Analysis like segmentation and funnel give thoughtful insights in a straightforward way.
The platform is also high-speed. It is easy to work with user segmentation for simple analysis.

It is hard to do a little bit more complex analysis.
I have trouble creating user cohorts for users who did one event OR another.
Other problems that I face here are related to instrumentation. Tracking a user experience in app with web views is a little tricky, since when user is in the app it has a device ID, but when it moves to a screen implemented as a web view it has another device ID.
Sessions analysis is also not the best in Amplitude. It is hard hard to understand the number of sessions where one event OR another took place.

Amplitude is a great event tracking platform.
Funnel analysis is what I use the most here in my company. It is excellent to understand how users are moving through the acquisition funnel.
It is also great to understand what are the different paths users are following in the product and the biggest drop-outs.
Segmentation analysis is great for understanding big numbers and how metrics are variating over time.

Ease of both an analytical data being able to do his analysis as a layman as well.

Not be very intuitive to extract to excel.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to develop cohorts of specific user groups to analyse them separatly from the overall public has been one of the most useful features of the Amplitude app for me

Being basically a full self service with minimal coding interface for user behaviour tracking, sometimes the development of different views and segment analyses can become a little bit complex
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics is solving the problem of understanding user behaviour inside our products, this benefits my workflow in the marketing analytics department by making marketing campaign impact analysis easier
Indispensible tool for analyzing the full customer journey
What do you like best about the product?
I recommend Amplitude to most of my clients. It lets them view both online activity as well as offline, so that the whole journey can be visualized. Its marketing features are the icing on the cake, and it's great to see them keep expanding in that area.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude is primarily a visualization and data exploration tool. Its support for tablular reports/pivots is very limited. So it is always necessary to have a secondary reporting tool for this sort of analysis - whether that's a spreadsheet or a dashboarding tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude gives much more detail and drill-down than Google Analytics and other common analytics tools. I can drill down to individual contacts and see their full journey. This gives my clients the ability to explore data and find insights that would be impossible with most other tools.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Amplitude on a daily basis to quickly check whether my assumptions are correct or not. The ease of creating charts is what I like the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the tool requires a good understanding of your event analytics data. Therefore, it can be difficult for non-analysts to extract the correct insights from a chart.

Amplitude helps us to transition from gut-based product decisions toward more data-informed product decisions.

I would like to be able to pause the automatic display when setting up charts.
When you work with heavy queries, you want first to configure the graph and then run it.
Otherwise, every click is a change, and it can take up to a minute for any action.

So fast, efficient, and extremely user-friendly once you get over the learning curve.

Amplitude almost has too much possibility and functionality. It's challenging to know what I'm doing is actually the *best* way to do or track something in Amplitude.

Real-time data that loads instantly, and makes it easy to visualize and report out on performance, insights, and growth.
