Powerful yet simple productivity enabler
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, low code approach. At the same time offering deep integration capabilities with all common business services.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had no negative experience so far
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow automation via Slack and integrations between various enterprise applications.
Build integrations and automations in a flash
What do you like best about the product?
1. Integrations can be built quickly and efficiently. In the past few years across 2 companies, I've created over a hundred integrations to complete both complex and simple tasks to save team members time and ensure data validity and compliance. A recipe comes together very quickly once you know what you want to do.
2. As long as a user can dream up the business process to automate, it can be done in Workato. Standard connectors are simple to set up and use. If a standard connector isn't available, a custom HTTP connector can be easily configured or the Workato team will build a connector for you. I've also connected to data through database connectors, sftp, user integrated files, and user input from Slack bots, so there's many ways to connect data using the platform.
3. The Workato team is like an extension of our team. They are always available to help out - whether that be for extra training or support, or to talk through a business use case and how best to handle the scenario or integration to a particular system.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to have a while loop functionality - currently I have to solve for this by figuring out how many times to loop or setting a high enough number of iterations for a for loop and combine with an if statement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Employee onboarding and offboarding - automatically entering data from applicant tracking tool to HR and then through downstream tools like SSO, CRM, ERP and more. This provides a better employee onboarding experience to make sure an employee has the apps they need the day they start, while turning off access automatically on the last working day of an employee ensures the company's data and systems remain secure.
2. Data warehousing - taking all of our data from 40+ SaaS systems and pushing it to Snowflake for a single source of truth for all company dashboards and reporting.
3. API integrations like pushing details from customer's online cart purchase through to Salesforce for processing, or getting sale information from our online partners into our systems in a real-time basis.
4. Automated renewals management - including sending automated renewal email reminders and revalidating customer credit cards; enhancing standard CPQ contract renewal functionality.
5. Data migration - We recently had a large scale system migration and were able to use a series of Workato recipes to migrate the data from the old system to the new.

The site management and ability to get basic metrics
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automate repetitive task relatively easy and eliminating the human errors prone to these task. A lot of time has been saved.
Helping not only IT but other organizations automate their process.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Workato should definitely be one of the tools for anyone considering automation currently IT process. It is a very powerful tool but lends itself to learning it very quickly.
Flexible and User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create visual data workflows proves to the greatest advantage for our team. I was able to get on-boarded into the platform and product extremely quickly and almost right away was able to grasp the previous recipe's created and make overhauling enhancements in a short amount of time. From a developers point of view, the ability to create what are essentially reusable components is a really nice added bonus as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too many weaknesses other than that there is a bit of a learning curve with some of the functionality if you're looking to optimize your workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously had an extremely old API integration between Salesforce and Cleverbridge which had become inefficient & unreliable. Workato offered us the ability to connect two systems together using a seamless and visible workflow that made it easy for our team build, adjust, and scale. Beyond a more reliable connector of data was also the ability to track in real time jobs being run between the endpoints. This became extremely useful when jobs needed to be rerun or when errors occurred during the handshake. From this initial integration, we have since grown our usage of the product into other identifiable areas including Google Sheets & Slack sheets to help us log and provide realtime messaging.
The Next Generation IPaaS
What do you like best about the product?
Workato has a ton of pre-built connectors that have enough logic in them that my analysts don't need to understand APIs or which exact endpoints require some sophisticated logic. Workato built all of that right into the connectors and abstracted away all of the complexity. Really easy to get going and get the team ramped up on, without any special training, although they have been more than supportive when we have come up with questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation is a bit light when it comes to things like functions, but also not always necessary in that we can pull down an example recipe from the community and build off of that to solve most problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving access to data without requiring licensing to see that data has saved us a bunch of money. Using the Slack Workbot, our CS reps are able to quickly query customer subscriptions in SFDC CPQ without needing additional licenses or swivel chairing between applications. We've been able to replace bost of our Boomi workflows with Workato and they are now much simpler to maintain and understand.
Business Collaboration and Enterprise Automation
What do you like best about the product?
The team recognized early on that Workato had a customer-first mentality that began with our onboarding and has extended throughout our customer experience. From building recipes for our team to gain confidence in the product, to bespoke solutions as we’ve needed support--the team has continued to go above and beyond to support not only our revenue operations team, but other department needs as well.
I would have nothing but confidence in recommending Workato as the only premier IPaaS (enterprise automation) solution for all companies across different industries and use-cases.
To name a few successes, we’ve been able to optimize our lead handoff to sales, speed to response, data transformation from our user database to salesforce to name a few!
Ease of use (low-code ecosystem)
Customer-first organization mentality
Endless use cases and product flexibility

What do you dislike about the product?
The only improvement could be in the data pill organization and admin certification options. More online training materials would be great! This is less a dislike more of a desire.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Revenue Operations efficiencies, Data and tech silos.
User friendly and supportive
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Jitterbit and others in the past. Workato is easy enough for anyone with general flow logic experience and has the functionality to adjust data in the platform. Drag and drop interface and the Workato team has been incredibly supportive to assist building, troubleshooting, and additional platform integrations. So far, Workato has been a fantastically intuitive solution and offered proactive team support.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some nuances in complex scenarios that we did need some help troubleshooting but I imagine this would be the case in any platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
syncing data to our data warehouse and automating manual processes across multiple systems.
Did a deep evaluation and found the right tool for HubSpot
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create a governance structure that allows us to distribute recipe creation to the business operations teams. It's a game changer for the speed of innovation and impact! Multiple environments user controls have allowed us to safely create a leveraged model.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workato is beginning to invest in materials and process that can be leveraged to build the distributed model but we pushed into territory where we had to create many of the checklist, process... for the governance. We could have moved a little faster if it was all templated. I see that is changing quickly now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer lifecycle communication, touch-less renewal management, localization, IT Helpdesk... We are moving into many processes now one notable process will be recruiting to onboarding.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We found the product to be solid in our evaluation and through 8 months of migration and use. We have found the vendor to be responsive and helpful. The enterprise features allowed us to push the envelope on our deployment strategy. The ability to deploy to the business units while protecting our production systems is pushing decision making down allowing us to move faster! The governance model has been key for us and the environments and user controls made a difference.
Tried many alternative integrations platforms but none were as easy and yet powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely powerful toolset that are easy to use even for non-technical people. However, the level of deep customization and ability to write custom scripts makes even the most technical users jump with joy. The platform is well designed, intuitive and comes loaded with hundreds (if not thousands) of pre-written workflows, as well as app connectors. Finally, the ability to extend my connectors to any third party custom API is fantastic. With regards to the selection process, Workato stood out from the crowd thanks to our rep Alessio who helped us get a deep understanding of the capabilities and even had his technical team create proof-of-concepts. No other provider came close to this level of service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once we dug into Workato and saw what it can do for us, we realized that it can solve many more use cases than we initially thought. This initially made it hard for teams to stay focused as we kept on adding more and more projects to the Workato list. It just took a while to uncover all the features and functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a growing eCommerce platform, we needed to solve for a variety of challenges. Firstly, our clients kept on demanding us to integrate with more and more third party tools, which started to become hard to manage in-house. Using Workato as an OEM/white labeled backend, makes the integration process much more streamlined and extremely scalable. In addition, we were so impressed with Workato's platform that we started to build many internal workflows and data integration layers on its platform, which solved another problem of connecting our sales and marketing stack with other backend solutions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get users within your organization to see the tool in action and win them over by the ease of use. Keep an open mind for many other use cases that it may solve for your business.
Great integration tool that gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
How fast we can deliver business value for our customers
What do you dislike about the product?
That i might actually get through my backlog and won't have any work left :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
