Excellent collaboration and project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com provides a great platform for teams to collaborate on shared projects. Its basic function is an automated to-do list that keeps track of project tasks that are on time, overdue, or stuck. It's very easy to get started with, and from there the possibilities are nearly endless! You can collaborate with people outside of your organization, set up a variety of different workspaces for different teams and projects, and customize your workflow.
The automations are very cool and they have continued to update and improve add-ins like forms. Overall, a very powerful and useful tool.

What do you dislike about the product?
Using the more advanced features takes some time/ has a bit of a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com solves the problem of just losing track of projects/ items. It's been a great year-over- year tool: we have a lot of projects and events that occur only once annually, and instead of scrambling to find our notesand ideas from the previous year, it's all kept neatly on the Monday board.
It has also allowed us to automate several internal processes and inherently keeps a record of those events, making it easy to report as needed.

Not your typical business to rave about Monday.com – but we do!
We’re tree surgeons, not tech experts, but Monday.com has genuinely transformed how we run our business. It’s made getting information from site to office so much simpler and keeps everything organised in one place — from photos and work sheets to quotes for each individual client.
Communicating with the team about specific jobs or clients is now fast and efficient. We love how easy it is to send updates and keep everyone aligned.
The ability to keep certain columns private on public boards is really useful, and the "total" columns make tracking progress and percentages straightforward. Adding new columns is incredibly intuitive.
We’re still discovering new features — recently, we started using apps, and now email addresses are automatically added to our newsletter mailing list. That kind of automation is a real time-saver.

The word document facility - we would like a form that can easily be amended / written on
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having information accesible to all team members - the team member doing quotations adds the photos / work detail to the client - when a different team member is on site doing the work - photos and work sheets available to them. Team member carrying out the work can furthe rupdate on completion for the office to invoice the client.

Monday.com is an excellent work management system!
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent automation and notification system allowing for ease through my work since I used Monday.com daily. I love how Monday.com has constantly updated with the times. The features available today were completely not nonexistent three years ago and with each new feature, our company's work and project management become more manageable and synced.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more internal customer support for external applications making it easier to work with those apps/integrations. In general, if it is a base line question or a Monday.com app customer service is 10/10 but the second it becomes a high-level question for an external application, you get tossed around with that product developer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We went from tasks checklists in documents to task lists in Monday,com, to task and project flow, to using dashboards and automation to speed and move projects along in an administrative aspects such that more effort could go into the meat not the management.
Monday is straightforward and user-friendly!
What do you like best about the product?
I love Monday to keep track of my deliverables and keep conversation threads going with colleagues/collaborators on projects. I use it daily, as my team, to keep us accountable for the work we are supposed to do. The amount of resources available to help with using Monday are plentiful, and I like that they are always implementing new technologies and applications on the platform to keep work orderly. I appreciate how integrated things like their CRM are to the platform, making it easier for end users to not have to have added expenses deploying another software or technology that does the same thing minus the project management features. Implementing Monday has been straightforward on our team, and our Project Coordinator raves about the ease of use and excellent customer service the application provides. Thank you!
What do you dislike about the product?
However, I have a few dislikes about Monday. I wish certifications were cheaper or free, because I would love to do more than what I learned on the Monday Academy videos, and this would open the door to allow anyone to learn not only to use Monday, but be able to manage personal and team projects on there. I find that wanting to delve deeper in project management and be credentialized to be cost-prohivitive for me. What if I am simply a user but would love to learn how to use this platform as a consultant, analyst or administrator? I have to pay a good amount of money to do so, and my workplace will not pay for me to learn more because they only see me as a user and I want to upskill on my own. I also wish there were more features for users to manage their own workspace page, rather than have it visible to the rest of their team. I find the ability of knowing if a deliverable is seen or not is extra intrusion of privacy, at least as a user. Finally, I wish Monday had a desktop version!

Monday is ensuring we are kept accountable for all deliverables we undertake, especially service tickets and time-sensitive projects.

monday gives us a tool that we can use to support our clients for Marketing & Budget Mgmt, and any additional PM needs. It provides a single source of "truth" for record keeping as well as "conversations".

Easy to use with a lot of functionality
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Monday.com is that it's very simple to implement and anyone can use it, not just project managers. There is also a lot of great functionality that they're always working on and the support they have is really helpful. The cost is also very reasonable for what you get out of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
On a rare occasion, there are some delays in loading pages or copying boards but it's not very often. I seem to recall them working on improving the backend of Monday.com soon so I'm guessing these issues will get resolved.
We also want to implement the resource allocation tool but there is some work to be done in that area. While it's certainly helpful, there are some functionality things that are lacking.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a number of course developments that occur each quarter that act as mini-projects. Each person who develops these courses are the PMs of their work so by using Monday.com we can see everyone's work on a single board. We're also able to create new views with a single board to support different teams across our organization. It's also easy enough that anyone can implement their own boards in a way that works for them.

It has been a great tool to organize our projects, add team members, and to communicate action items. I love that I can "undo" immediately.

I have found everything to be helpful, there have been a few times when automations have been slow or a bit cumbersome.

We have a variety of tasks per project/phase. It's a great way to check off to do items and keep track. Also a good way to store documents for easy access per task.

What do you like best about the product?
The level of detail to which you can customise Monday boards and dashboards is one of the best points for me. There are lots of different column types which can be dragged/dropped and customised to create a tailored workflow for whatever type of use your organisation requires. The UX is extremely intuitive and you can make some really great looking boards and dashboards with great ease.
Automations are also a great way of staying on top of tasks.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's not a lot I don't like about Monday.com to be honest. I've found in the past that some integrations (Jira for example) can be quite limited in terms of what can be passed between the two platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday helps our organisation keep a top-level view down of all different projects and pieces of work that are happening at one time. We can easily see a Gantt view of everything that's either planned or in progress - this helps with ensuring that we're not overloading our teams with too many change projects at any one time.
We also use it for planning business-wide communications - it helps us see when other teams within the business may be planning a communication and helps us avoid clashses.
