Effortless Project Management and Real-Time Team Updates

  • November 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Creating and managing projects has become much easier for our team, as everyone can track their progress on their own devices. This means we are always up to date. The platform also offers much more control compared to a typical to-do list.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much to complain about; it functions just as you would expect. However, I do think it could benefit from offering an alternative way to view the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool is useful for monitoring the parts we have in circulation within the shop, as well as keeping an eye on outgoing shipments and tracking who is assigned to each task. It manages a lot of information, making it easy for anyone to see exactly where a part is in the process.

Seamless Automations and Intuitive Design Make Workflows a Breeze

What do you like best about the product?
I love the animations and automations! I also enjoy the different colors, I love being able to set date formulas so it shows 30 days after an employees start date. My favorite thing is being able to connect boards and have automations send info to another board. Once I got used to the look and feel of it, I really was able to figure out everything pretty easily. It's all self explanatory for the most part, no funky wording or explanations! If I don't know anything, they have a really great help center to figure everything out. It becomes very self-serving and I don't need to check up on every board super often, which I love! I prefer it over excel for tracking things and I would recommend it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd say the only thing that bugs me honestly is the colors remain the same across the board. When I have colors in one column, I prefer the color palette in another to be different. When they're all the same color, I end up correlating them in my head, even though its meant to be a completely different differentiator in that other column. Otherwise, it's super easy to use!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's the only place we can truly track new hires and anything beyond them being hired. It is so amazing to have everyone's eyes that need to be on it. Instead of having to create and download a report for sign on bonuses and referral bonuses every pay period, it automatically sends the employee to the board it needs to, that way payroll can keep track. Once it's set up and any changes need to be made as time goes on, I rarely need to touch it. It is a very reliable site.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create items into a "my work" area which allows employees to easily go back and find items that need further attention at a later date. It's a simple ease of access tool which I really enjoy using daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally have not found any features that I am not able to create or use in Monday.com
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday prevents employees from "forgetting" to go back and check on work that needed to be reviewed at a later date. It benefits my company because we almost never have any customers come back and report items were missing for their order.

Intuitive, Automated, but Needs More Flexibility

  • November 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love monday Work Management for its intuitive and easy-to-use interface, which makes figuring tasks out a breeze. The automation abilities are impressive and enhance workflow efficiency significantly. Although I’m just beginning to explore the AI features, it's clear that they offer powerful capabilities. Overall, the initial setup of the platform was pretty easy and straightforward, which I appreciated, as it facilitated a smooth transition for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were fewer guardrails on the automation creation abilities in monday Work Management. Even though the platform is quite developer-friendly and allows for advanced actions like sending webhooks, I find the limitations on selecting fields and parameters for triggered automations frustrating. Sometimes, I want to build an automation, but I'm unable to proceed because a specific parameter I need is not selectable, even though it is available in other automation templates. There's a need for a more granular, flexible approach, allowing users to start with a completely blank automation template and have access to use any particular parameters interchangeably. The current restrictions mean that parameters available in certain scenarios are unusable in others, which can be quite limiting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use monday Work Management to stay organized, manage projects and tasks, streamline work requests, and organize sales leads. It provides an intuitive interface, great automation abilities, and a place to view entire projects easily.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it is easy to use and is helpful to us in our work processes in my department. We have a lot of clients to manage and having a board of all of our clients is super helpful and that it can be filtered in so many different ways. I like that it is collaborative and updates in real time. There is a lot of creative freedom in how you can organize and create boards with columns, subitems, and groupings. This many options can be a little paralyzing but we had an individual on our team that was able to build boards in a way that is now helpful to us. Now that the hard part of building it is done I can just enjoy it for management. I use this all day every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it hard to get to workspaces when we have a lot of them I wish there were an easier way to pin workspaces somewhere on the left hand side. I know there are board permissions but I wonder if it would help to have "lock" feature on columns etc so that users that can edit don't accidently make changes when we are working and can easily click unlock to edit. I wish there was an easy way to add a subitem to all chosen items on a board. For example we have a listing of 60 clients and I want to add the same subitem to them all after they are created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A problem we have is we needed somewhere that our whole team could look at a listing of our clients and update subitems and columns in real time as we work through our workflow. Monday is very helpful for that. It is really easy to log into each day and there are so many ways to customize the boards and fields. It is a place where we can put everything and be assured it is saved immediately, accessible anywhere there is internet, and user friendly.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to automate task assignments is helpful for workflows . The ability to customize milestones, statuses, etc. to meet the needs of the team helps.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you don't have a pseudo developer on the team, the base functionality is really minimal. It takes skill and know-how to really make the system really work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task accountability and timeline transparency

Transformative Tool for Team Collaboration and Accountability

  • November 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the user interface of monday Work Management. It is intuitively designed and works well for me, almost like a spreadsheet on steroids, which makes it visually appealing and easy to navigate. The ability to link communications is a standout feature, allowing seamless updates via email and integration with Outlook, which enhances coordination and information sharing. This is extremely useful for maintaining communication flow directly within the platform. Assigning tasks to people is highly beneficial as it promotes accountability and clarity within the team. Another feature I appreciate is the ability to connect different boards to each other, enabling me to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining an organized workflow. This interconnectivity ensures that projects are not siloed and can communicate effectively with one another, which is greatly beneficial. Overall, monday Work Management efficiently supports my personal and professional project management needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find some of the automations in monday Work Management feel limited. There are times when I want a board to perform a specific action, but it can't because the automation doesn't exist. This means that more specific automation options, such as notifications or the timing of actions, would be beneficial. Additionally, there are glitches with the automation which sometimes require me to handle tasks manually. Another area for improvement is the limit on creating categories or different statuses, as I'm often constrained by a limitation of around 30 or 40, whereas some of our projects would benefit from having up to 100 categories. This would allow for more flexibility in project management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use monday Work Management for managing personal and professional projects effectively. It solves issues of tracking team tasks and file locations, centralizing all in one place, which enhances collaboration and efficiency.

Transforms Teamwork with Clarity, Flexibility, and Seamless Collaboration

  • November 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com brings structure and clarity to every moving piece of work. The interface makes it simple to visualize projects from start to finish—seeing what’s on track, what’s behind, and what needs attention at a glance. The flexibility to customize boards, automations, and dashboards means it can scale with how a team actually operates instead of forcing a rigid system.

The integrations are smooth, so it connects naturally with existing tools, and the automations reduce repetitive check-ins or status updates. I also appreciate how transparent it makes collaboration—everyone knows what’s happening without needing constant meetings or long email threads.

In short, it turns scattered tasks into a clear, shared workflow that’s easy to manage and easy to trust.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday.com is powerful, but it can feel a bit heavy at times when setting up complex automations or connecting boards. There is a learning curve to getting the system to work exactly the way you want without adding unnecessary layers.

Some features that make the platform shine, like advanced automations and integrations, are locked behind higher pricing tiers. That can make it harder for smaller teams to fully take advantage of everything. The mobile app also feels less polished than the desktop version, and large boards can take a while to load.

In short, its flexibility is both its greatest strength and its biggest challenge. It gives you the freedom to build what you need, but it takes some effort to reach that point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com helps bring order to projects that involve a lot of moving parts. It keeps communication, timelines, and tasks in one place instead of being scattered across spreadsheets, emails, and meetings. Everyone can see who is responsible for what and how each project is progressing, which reduces confusion and makes it easier to stay aligned.

Automations handle repetitive updates and reminders, while dashboards make it easy to see progress or pull reports without extra work. It also keeps a clear record of activity and decisions, which saves time when following up or reviewing a project.

The result is better visibility, faster communication, and more time spent doing the actual work instead of chasing information.

Effortless Scheduling and Customization for Manufacturing

  • November 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Monday Work Management to schedule manufacturing for 27 machines. I find it very easy to use and customize to make it look and work how you want it to. I find it very easy to change the schedule on the fly to help us meet customer demands.
What do you dislike about the product?
On at least one occasion, an update to Monday had a negative impact on my workflow and there seems to be no interest from Monday to restore the lost functionality
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed an easy way to group and visualize production on all our machines. Monday work Management makes it easy to see what is running and what is in queue to avoid capacity issues.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps us organize and share documents regarding projects with the team.
Keeps everybody on the loop and since it’s online we can use it anywhere anytime.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since we don’t use all its features we don’t really take the maximum advantage of it. Nevertheless we don’t see anything we really dislike about it. It could be less expensive for a small team like ours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization, communication
