Time to value is extremely short
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the included templates get you up and using the software to make meaningful improvements to your business processes. I even learned some new techniques because they were built into some templates. I'm a better manager now because I used monday.com.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favorite thing is now greatly mitigated by their CRM offering. Because the software is so easy to use, it's easy to get yourself bogged down in duplicated and inconsistent data. A perfect example is a Customer list. There are tools to help with this, but they are a little more difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday.com provides a usable way for our company to keep each other updated on progress accomplishing our work. Rather than relying on memory or scattered, inconsistent checklists, we now can share our formats very easily. Even better, we don't have to duplicate efforts in personal task tracking vs reporting to the team. It's all there in monday.com.

monday.com offers a robust project management tool that caters to businesses of all sizes. Its intuitive, visually appealing interface makes it a breeze to navigate, making the task of managing complex projects significantly easier. The system's adaptability is particularly impressive, allowing for customizations of boards to fit various project needs. The automation and integrations with other software like Slack, Google Drive, and Zoom are also top-notch, enhancing productivity by a significant margin. The timeline and Gantt chart views are incredibly helpful for tracking project progress and deadlines. Moreover, the collaborative elements of monday.com, including commenting and file sharing, foster great team coordination and seamless communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
While monday.com is a fantastic tool overall, it does have a few areas that could benefit from improvements. One of these is the pricing structure, which can become quite high for larger teams, making it less accessible for small businesses on a tight budget. The initial learning curve can also be steep for those new to project management software, as the vast array of features can be overwhelming at first. Lastly, although the customization is excellent, it sometimes leads to confusion, especially when the configurations are not properly managed. Nonetheless, with time and familiarity, these minor issues become less impactful.

Great automations but pricey
What do you like best about the product?
The automation to notify team members is straightforward to customize. We love it for that reason. It's also pretty easy to use even though the visuals can be overwhelming in the beginning, they offer a variety of views to match different work styles.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price it's expensive for tiny businesses which we work with. It's hard to refer them to our customers because of the price. Also, the customization that allows you to work on projects in order of assignment is on the most expensive plan. Again, not the best for tiny businesses, but great for growing small businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time tracking helps a lot, as does workflow management. It was a bit difficult to see who was waiting for who, and how much time was being spent on project with our previous platform.
With Monday, I managed to control the entire document cycle of an engineering company.
What do you like best about the product?
Clicking and dragging made it much easier, I ended up creating a "big spreadsheet" and used its features daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't implement everything I wanted, especially a CRM. The product was launched separately, which would certainly increase my costs, so I couldn't do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The document flow became quite organized and available using Monday.
The best PPM tool overall I've used in my 35 year career
What do you like best about the product?
Its flexible, doesn't prescribe a process and can be used for many business workflows

Some obvious functionality is missing, but it isn't a deal breaker
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a PPM and a general workflow tool that could be used across our business and after a lengthy selection and evaluation process, we found that monday.com was the best fit and was not exhorbitantly expensive
Game Changer!
What do you like best about the product?
The project management features have been SO helpful to our small/medium non-profit! As a workplace that prioritizes collaboration, monday.com makes that more achievable by helping us stay organized and allows us to work asynchronously more effectively!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations to the flexibility of a board, like all the groups having to have the same category within a board. The mechanics of creating one board that synthesizes info from several other boards could be better as well. It takes a lot of work and also takes up space on the board to show that it's linked to something else. Feels like that process could be more seamless and intuitive, particularly for the project management templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had no formal project management system in place prior to monday.com. We were trying to make everything work in Excel sheets. We are still learning all the ways we can use monday.com but the biggest help has been in giving us a tool to project manage and collaborate.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that my clients can stay up-to-date on the tasks that I'm working on and we can collaborate on projects and content together through the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easier way to view the calendar, where you could see the content (photos,videos, text) that's associated with each item on the calendar.

I'm now able to plan out social media content and easily share it with my clients.

What do you like best about the product?
There are many things! The ability to make different boards for different projects, notifications and automation can eliminate emails, the ability to prioritize, mark as complete, etc. Assigning tasks to team members and getting notifications as they work on them eliminates a lot of back and forth. I love that apps are available to facilitate many needs. And creating a dashboard to be abe to visualize progress is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how the primary column can only be set as a text box. It would be amazing if this could be a drop-down or a compilation of other columns so you can standardize how this is used within a board (I was able to solve part of this with a 3rd party automation). I'd really like to be able to use a mirrored column as a drop down in a form too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Once I was able to integrate my mail client, it resolved some communication issues by allowing for automatic emails as projects worked through the process. It is also helping us improve time management, task management, as well as give us some internal analysis of how projects are being handled. I think it will help manage workload and time spent per project.
