Excellent UI, But Needs Better Role-Based Permissions
What do you like best about the product?
It has an excellent user interface. It is a joy to use it from that perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer it if there was tighter control over the permissions that users have - perhaps something at the level of roles rather than adjusting for individual boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have moved from recognizing income based on time spent on a job to task completion. We are also able to track jobs company wide.

What do you like best about the product?
Colourful and user friendly user interface
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many features and Monday-defined terms like workspace, board, workspace owner, board owner, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us do the project management, since it allows team members to join and get invited to the relevant boards, we benefit from the clear co-editing and updates on projects etc.

Intuitive visual interface. Consistent improvement to available features and usability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboards and Gantts can be limited in terms of how much editing and customisation you can do with them.

Acting as a single source of truth.
Easy to Use with Flexible, Streamlined Views
What do you like best about the product?
l like the ease of use, streamlined views, the use cases flexibility. l love that the business and product is continuously trying to grow the product, its capability, particularly with AI
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting dashboards can be very restrictive, the Canvas whiteboard looks like it will address many of the restrictions but its a chargeable extra.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is great to see that you are building AI capabilities into Monday.com which l am hoping will reduce the number of systems required and processes, the purpose of ERP with out the costly implementation in both time and costs

Portfolio, Managed templates and automation

Gant charts, still using Excel for high level plans

Flexible way of working. A good space to have all work projects, being able to update quickly and effectively. Visual and easy to engage with.

Can be confusing to navigate and sometimes things in different places.

More ways to track and update progress.

What do you like best about the product?
As an admin of monday work management, I find the product easy to manage and the teams using the platform are always very positive around how it works.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure I've got any dislikes for the product.

It helps us manage our workflows across multiple areas of the business.
Great for Collaboration, But Boards Can Get Messy
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to link the appropriate columns and forward them to the relevant departments is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
We ended up creating our board with far too many columns, which has made it look cluttered and disorganized. We'll need to rebuild it to create a more effective and streamlined board.

This tool provides a unified and centralized approach to project management, making it intuitive and easy to navigate. I also appreciate the collaborative features it offers.
Consistent Project Management Made Easy with Monday
What do you like best about the product?
With Monday Work Management, we are able to utilize templated boards for our Project Managers across all their projects. This not only saves time but also ensures a consistent approach throughout our processes. As a result, our PMO team and Management benefit from a comprehensive Portfolio view, and we can build dashboards that deliver valuable insights into task status, risks, and overall project health.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation of Monday was fairly straightforward. However, we anticipated receiving a more out-of-the-box solution, with more boards already set up for us at the start and training provided on those. Instead, we found ourselves having to learn and build the boards as we progressed, which was not what we had expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform offers consistency across all projects, which I find very helpful. Additionally, the enhanced portfolio reporting makes it easier to track and analyze progress.
