simple coherent interface and clear functions that can be used across a range of projects and trackers

It's easy to pick up and use. The learning curve is not very steep, and it is intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features that seem like no-brainers are missing, like pushing updates from one item to another and having items live in more than one board.

monday Work Management is solving the biggest issue professional service departments face: tracking projects. Having insight into projects, knowing what tasks need to be done when and by who, and being able to plan out each engagement can all be big issues if you don't have a tool like Work Management. Work Management makes it easy to do and takes the tool-stress out of the job so we can focus on doing the work for our clients.

Monday Work Management has streamlined many aspects of our business. From vendor scheduling and invoice filing to dispatching and record keeping, Monday.com has allowed us not only to streamline processes but to centralize data and tighten up communication across departments, so we can keep our focus on our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automation tools sometimes feel a little restrictive. When they work, they work great, but it can be a little tricky to figure out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our work involves a complex system with many moving parts, and each team member is responsible for different tasks to serve our customers. Monday Work Management has made it much easier for us to coordinate and stay aligned, ensuring that everyone is working together effectively.

It felt a bit overwhelming at first. Maybe a simpler user interface could help with that.

Monday Work Management helps solve problems with team organization and communication. Before using it, tracking tasks and deadlines across different tools was confusing and time-consuming. Now everything is centralized; projects, timelines, and updates are all in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable monday Work Management is, as it allows me to tailor the platform to meet our specific needs and solve complex problems effectively. I value the Gantt chart functionality for tracking dependencies and activities, which keeps everyone informed about project progress. The automation tools, specifically the ability to set automated emails triggered by certain delivery thresholds, greatly streamline communication and reduce the need for manual intervention. This facilitates efficient delivery management and ensures all stakeholders are promptly updated. I also appreciate the dashboards, as their ability to incorporate various widgets helps me share high-level information with key stakeholders seamlessly. Having this level of flexibility and insight is invaluable for maintaining transparency and control over projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the dependency management in monday Work Management requires more work. Planning feels slow and involves a lot of manual input compared to other tools like Microsoft Projects. It becomes time-consuming for complex projects. Additionally, the integration for data analysis is not seamless; often I have to export to Excel for further analysis, which can be cumbersome. I wish there were a more direct link to Excel built into the product, as current third-party solutions are chargeable. The initial setup is also challenging, especially for new users unfamiliar with the product. It can be overwhelming due to its blank slate nature and the basic level of available templates, which require a lot of time to customize for complex project environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use monday Work Management to plan projects, track deliverables, automate delivery processes, and provide real-time access to project status for customers, enhancing project governance and efficiency.

All of my projects, along with project management and team collaboration, are organized in a single place: Monday.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would find it helpful to have alert reminders, whether as pop-ups or other types of notifications, for upcoming deadlines.

The administration team delegates tasks and responsibilities via Monday to everyone on the team. This is a great hub and easy to use.
