While there is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to fully customising workflows or using advanced features, once you become familiar with the system, everything operates smoothly.

My experience getting started with Monday.com was relatively straightforward. The platform provides templates tailored to various industries and use cases, so you don’t have to start from scratch. I managed to set up my team’s boards and projects within a few hours, thanks to the clear step-by-step guidance and helpful tutorials. That said, for larger teams or organisations with more complex workflows, it may take additional time to optimise the setup fully.

One of Monday.com’s strongest aspects is its customer support. They offer several ways to get in touch, including live chat, email, and a comprehensive knowledge base that features tutorials, articles, and video guides. On the rare occasions I needed help, the support team was quick to respond and provided practical solutions. The self-help resources are also excellent, often resolving common issues without the need to contact support.

I rely on Monday.com daily to manage tasks and track projects. It’s highly effective at keeping the entire team aligned, and I find myself checking in multiple times each day to monitor task progress, deadlines, and updates. The mobile app is also very convenient, enabling me to manage tasks on the go. It has become an essential tool for team collaboration, supporting both my personal tasks and larger group projects.

Integrating Monday.com with other tools is a smooth process. It supports connections with popular platforms like Slack, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and many more. Setting up these integrations was straightforward, and I appreciate the broad range of tools that can be connected. However, while most integrations function well, a few advanced or niche integrations could be improved for even greater ease of use.

What do you dislike about the product?

While Monday.com’s core features, such as task boards, lists, and timelines, are relatively straightforward to use, navigating its more advanced options can be challenging. For instance, setting up custom automations, managing complex workflows, and handling integrations often demands a higher level of technical expertise. Initially, I found the platform quite intuitive; however, as I began configuring automations and managing multiple boards with interconnected data, the process became noticeably more complex. It isn’t always obvious how to set things up in the most effective way, and you may find yourself needing considerable time or even outside assistance to make the most of what the platform has to offer.

Monday.com also depends on a stable internet connection for practical use. While this is typical for most cloud-based tools, it becomes a significant limitation if you’re working in locations with spotty or unreliable internet. Unlike some other project management solutions that allow you to work offline and sync your changes later, Monday.com lacks this feature, which can lead to delays in updating tasks or staying in touch with your team when you’re away from a reliable internet connection.

As someone who struggles with reading and spelling difficulties and often finds it challenging to focus on tasks, I’ve discovered that Monday.com can be a surprisingly helpful tool for managing projects, staying organised, and boosting productivity

I like how user-friendly the interface is, and how many different paths there are to reach the same goal within the platform.

What do you dislike about the product?

IOne thing I don’t love is that some advanced features can feel a bit hidden or take extra steps to find, especially when you’re in a hurry.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

helps me keep all my projects organized in one place, so I’m not jumping between apps or losing track of deadlines. It centralizes tasks, files, and communication, which saves time and reduces mistakes.

What do you like best about the product?

Its like a living spreadsheet, but more consistent and doesn't break after long term use.

What do you dislike about the product?

It is a bit difficult to code certain formulas and there is not a lot of help to figure it out. The AI is not accurate when generating help.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it to track our payments / invoicing with Contractors. We have about 5-10 on our team closing about 40+ transactions per month which gets really hard to track when you are hitting 200+ checks coming in the mail every month. This helped us create a struture and process around Payroll and Invoicing that has been life changing.

What do you like best about the product?

I really like monday Work Management for several reasons. Firstly, I appreciate its visual layout which is very helpful for organizing myself in the stages of complex projects. The automations offered are incredibly positive, making it easier to identify who has open demands, the delivery deadline, and the investigation of possible errors to correct and avoid future problems. Additionally, I like the integrations it provides, not only between the boards within monday itself but also with other tools and software I use, such as the Microsoft 365 suite. The initial setup process was very easy due to the intuitiveness of the software and access to instructional videos, which simplified the resolution of doubts. For these reasons and the ease of use, I rate the product with the highest recommendation.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think the only thing that could improve is the possibility of purchasing individual licenses. It doesn't need to be in batches of 5, but individual licenses, so that I can expand and have more staff without incurring so much expense. Additionally, I would like the instructional videos to be available in Portuguese or at least with Portuguese subtitles.

I use monday Work Management to organize complex projects, automate processes, view open demands, deadlines, and investigate errors. This facilitates organization and the prevention of future problems.

What do you like best about the product?

The feature I like best in Monday Work Management is the ability to color tag and name all the columns and sub columns. This feature allows me to stay organized.

What do you dislike about the product?

I dislike the emails sent when being tagged or when notes are left. I find this redundant because we see the notifications within our Monday inbox.

Some of the more complex use cases haven't been implemented yet because we need more training.

Additionally, I appreciate how easy it was to set up the system initially; with just a basic introduction from someone, I found it simple to get started. The platform's capability to consolidate all my notes in one place and assist me in managing deadlines is invaluable. All these features combined make using monday Work Management a seamless experience that I would eagerly recommend to others, evidencing my satisfaction by giving it a recommendation score of 10 out of 10.

The web app can be glitchy sometimes when scrolling, adding a new row, or trying to watch an uploaded video.

It helps me keep track of my work load and tasks I need to get done. It also helps me time track how long I spent on a project.
