A Great Management Tool

What do you like best about the product?
I like how organized monday.com is, and how you can seperate projects into different categories. You can also keep track of different statuses in a clear and easy manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not believe there are any downsides to monday.com, it is reliable and easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com is solving my problems when it comes to keeping track of projects and seeing what needs to be done in order of priority. Sometimes, I can lose track of what needs to be done, but then can see the status of any open projects on this platform, along with if there are any updates.

What do you like best about the product?
The automation feature is a game changer. I like that I can automate a notification to be sent to responsible parties when work needs to be completed. You can quickly and easily access Google files associated with each item and you can turn a recurring event into a child of the current year's event so you can look back on previous years' documentation. It allows for team collaboration along with all of the other features mentioned.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a little more flexibility in the automation process. I know this type of stuff comes with time though. An automation that will trigger an event after a given period of time using a date entered in a column (that can be locked and unlocked by a designated board moderator) would be so helpful. Once certain task are completed it may be necessary for quarterly review. You could enter the completion date and then a review would be triggered every 13 weeks for that item. I don't know if its available or not but I'm about to dig into the possibility of creating groups within team members of a board. We have certain teams within the group on one of our boards and it would be helpful if we could message a team instead of each individual person. If it's there, great. If not, it might be helpful to others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to use this tool for some of our risk-tracking initiatives. This allows different members of our team to collaborate without the need for constant meetings, and it keeps everything in a central location. Documentation, notes, and interactions are key to what we do, and Monday is making it work perfectly for us.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has efficiently streamlined how our agency works and functions. Monday.com was easy to implement. Using monday.com has allowed us to cut back on using paper and has alllowed us to have all of our documents and tracking systems in one place that is easily accessible. Our agency uses monday.com daily for all tasks. It is very beneficial that monday.com allows multiple people access to different areas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard to get a response or reach customer service. However, when in contact with customer service they are very helpful and will do what it takes to solve the issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com helped make our daily tasks more streamlined and efficient.

Construction Processes Made Easy

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to automate a bunch of processes within the Construction industry and how simple it is to use especially for an industry that HATES change!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not enough "Standards" provided by Monday. For the subitem automations I shouldn't have to pay another company monthly for something that should come standard within the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a single family residential builder, we have sped up our new releases (new plans or new subdivisions) significantly. For a subdivision release, we used to have to wait until after the Plat was recorded to start planning, and setting it up in our system. Now with Monday, we are releasing the new subdivision the same day or within days of receiving the Recorded Plat from the Municipality.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com provides an easy to digest space to organize & exchange information in a non-overwhelming format. Our company is in communication with many people at once managing & moving projects forward, so being able to consult a central place for information, reminders, timelines, & updates can keep us from letting anything slip through the cracks. It also keeps our workflow streamlined across projects & teams, making everyone more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Monday.com had more "saving" abilities. For example, when setting up custom automations, being able to save those exact algorithms and add them to new projects would be great. Currently, you can same an automation, but when you add it to a new project it clears itself to the base automation instead of saving your previously set up information. This saving capability would be a huge benefit when managing many projects at once & keep work flows streamlined between them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com is simplifying communication between team members, saving us time and allowing for our in person collaboration time to be spent on things we actually collaborate on, vs. little updates, reminders, etc. It also keeps us accountable from allowing any details to fall throguh the cracks. Overall, it makes us a stronger team when developing & managing multiple projects at once.

Helping me manage my projects all in one place. I even use it for my daily and team tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it had more ways to drill down more tasks under the subtasks, similar to what MS Project and Smartsheet can do.

Strong ticketing system

What do you like best about the product?
Compared to other ticketing systems, it is relatively easy to use. With the story generator, it is easy to set up project stories for a course. I believe it helps our program managers keep track of progress and labor costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have difficulty locating a story. This often occurs when someone leaves and I need to determine where their stories are. That is mostly a naming issue as developers use various conventions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to organize my work and using the points, I am able to estimate projects better.
