What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business problems that monday.com helping me solve are basically file organization, you'll be able to put down certain files on an item and add captions for you to know what it is for and for others to know about that specific item too. another problem is tracking timeline for the whole organization or at least those person who are working on a certain project know when the project has started and when it was completed and also to know if there are any deadlines on a specific project.

One of the aspects I find most appealing about using monday.com is its exceptional ability to facilitate the tracking of both real-time and historical data. The platform's capability to provide up-to-the-minute updates ensures that we are constantly informed about any developments, allowing us to make swift and informed decisions based on the most current information available.
Moreover, monday.com excels in maintaining a comprehensive record of historical data. This proves to be instrumental not only in reflecting on past accomplishments and challenges but also in deriving insights that can guide future initiatives. By having a well-organized repository of historical data, our team gains a valuable resource for identifying trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement.
An additional aspect that truly stands out is the ease with which monday.com empowers us to stay on top of team statistics. What do you dislike about the product?
While monday.com offers a range of valuable features, there are a couple of areas where the platform could be improved to provide an even more seamless user experience.
One aspect that can be a bit frustrating is the current limitation in copying a list of data that is spread across separate rows or columns. While monday.com is undoubtedly a powerful tool for organizing and tracking information, there are instances where we need to duplicate sets of data quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, the current functionality doesn't always cater to this need, requiring us to manually replicate the data or devise workarounds. The ability to easily copy and paste data from various sources while maintaining its structure would greatly enhance efficiency and save time.
Another area where there's room for improvement is in the process of deleting a board that's being shared with a team, especially when the board was created by an employee who has since left the company. It appears that the system might not have a straightforward mechanism for handling this scenario, which can lead to difficulties in managing shared resources. Ensuring a more streamlined and user-friendly process for board deletion, particularly in cases involving departed employees, would alleviate potential complications and ensure that the platform remains well-maintained and clutter-free.
While these aspects could be seen as areas for improvement, it's important to note that monday.com's overall functionality and utility are still significant strengths. The platform's constant updates and improvements suggest that the developers are attentive to user feedback and dedicated to refining the user experience. As such, it's possible that these concerns could be addressed in future updates, further enhancing the platform's usability and versatility.

These include refining the process of copying data from separate rows or columns and enhancing the ease of deleting shared boards, particularly in cases involving departed employees. Despite these minor concerns, monday.com remains a robust and valuable tool for streamlining workflows, promoting collaboration, and enhancing team productivity.

Monday.com is addressing several critical challenges that many teams and organizations face, and its solutions are tremendously beneficial in enhancing our overall efficiency, collaboration, and project management.
Firstly, one of the primary issues monday.com is tackling is the complexity of tracking and managing various projects, tasks, and deadlines. This made it difficult to keep everyone on the same page, leading to missed deadlines and miscommunication. With monday.com's intuitive interface and customizable boards, we've been able to centralize all our work, streamline communication, and ensure that everyone is aware of their tasks and timelines. This has led to improved project delivery and a significant reduction in misunderstandings.
Another problem monday.com is addressing is the lack of transparency and accountability within teams. Moreover, the platform's real-time data tracking and historical data retention are solving the problem of data fragmentation and loss. In our previous setup, data was often scattered across different platforms and tools, leading to confusion and inefficiencies when trying to access historical records. With monday.com, we can easily track the evolution of projects, identify trends, and derive insights from past endeavors. This data-driven approach allows us to make informed decisions, identify areas for improvement, and allocate resources more strategically.

Saves us a lot of time
We use Monday in conjunction with loom and this has been a real time saver and each key activity can be tackled weeks later after the activity has been created because each task or activity serves as it's own respository with key directives and also team input as needed; it just works; we have a very active team of finance professionals and we only need to meet for 30 minutes weekly with monday.com being our source of truth and guidance for our meetings so we don't even really need to prep for meetings as such

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Monday.com is that I can't drag and drop files from the website to a different folder or location. Which usually consists of a folder inside of multiple folders.
