All-in-One Solution That Simplifies Magazine Management
What do you like best about the product?
You don't need to hold the information for managing your company in your brain, it's all there for you on the software program
What do you dislike about the product?
You're dependent on a computer/ software program and sometimes there's something valuable to the old-fashioned way of using pen and paper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work for a magazine. All the information about articles, writers, due dates, editing tasks, article scheduling was in our head. Now it's all on the software. Things don't get lost. We don't forget things. We can see it all laid out.

Ease of use and collaboration between teams

some features are lacking to better streamline our workflow and some workaround are not always bringing the expected results
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com helped us streamline our entire processes from HR to Finance by centralizing everything at the same place (rather than using multiple lecgacy systelm that were not really well connected). It helped us save time and gained on productity while provinding better overall vision to our management teams.
Seamlessly Automates Tasks with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the automation tools in monday Work Management; they really help. When we complete a task, the automation can send emails to notify those who requested the tickets and the ticket owners. This includes email correspondence between tickets, which is great. I like the ease of the platform; it's simple to use and more intuitive than Excel. It presents a simple interface with tools that I can figure out on my own. I also like the new AI features. It's helpful for summarizing tasks, including correspondence emails, all in one place. The initial setup was fine, and while some onboarding is needed, it's been easy to adopt. Many team members find it easy to use for different tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automation sometimes breaks if email changes or there's some change management. It's difficult to work around the settings, and I believe they can make it easier to access the automations and set them up easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use monday Work Management to manage support tickets, quality assurance tasks, and monitor items. The automation helps by sending emails to ticket owners when tasks are completed, making task tracking easier.
User-Friendly Platform That Streamlines Team Communication
What do you like best about the product?
It's so user-friendly and it reduces emails because everyone can see the status of everything right in the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't seem to set up recurring emails, I have to create each one individually.

It's cutting down on my overflowing email inbox which frees me up to do more content creation.
User-Friendly Yet Complex if Needed
What do you like best about the product?
I use monday Work Management to source all of my information, from work files and research to personal use. It helps me solve all of my organization and work management issues. It's very user-friendly but also has a lot of complex options if needed. I particularly value the boards in the workplaces for general organization, where I can write details about each item. The initial setup was pretty easy, taking just 10 to 30 minutes to understand everything I needed to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think a tutorial for how to use certain things could be more clear, and having an introduction for the complex things it offers would be helpful.

I use monday Work Management to source and organize all my work files, research, and personal projects, solving my organization and work management issues.
Customizable & Streamlined Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
I use monday Work Management for daily tasks management, and I find it simple and practical. I like the personalization options, which can be easily set up to match our needs. I used to prefer Asana, but now that my company has configured monday Work Management to work the way we wanted, I wouldn't change back.

I couldn't do the initial setup myself.

Very straightforward and intuitive to use. It doesn't take long to update business under discussion.

Some reporting capabilities are missing but you can easily find workarounds.

I can quickly see at a glance what the revenue pipeline is from my sales staff.

I like monday Work Management for project planning and resources allocation. It solves workflows, team visibility, and manual tracking issues in procurement by centralizing tasks. I appreciate the customizable visual boards and automations with no code, which make workflow and tracking intuitive for tasks. The customizable visual boards let me drag-and-drop tasks into Kanban or Gantt views, and the automations trigger actions such as approval notifications or status updates. The initial setup was smooth and easy, making it convenient to start using.

Streamlined Event Planning Across Departments
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy use function. I taught myself how to use this program by utilizing the YouTube videos available from monday.com staff members. I enjoy the ability to auto-save, to do reports, and to move a project through a process from start to finish. This work management tool has been invaluable to coordinating events here at the community college. monday.com is especially powerful for an event coordinator because it centralizes planning, communication, timelines, and accountability in one place—reducing manual follow-ups and last minute surprises. I can track each event through clear status stages such as inquiry received, pending approvals, confirmed, setup scheduled, event live post-event follow-up, closed and cancelled events. I am able to assign tasks to facilities, IT, Police, AV, Catering Marketing, etc. Monday.com gives true collaboration and it streamlined our process. The initial setup was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would want to improve is having a monday.com account manager when problems arise when I am trying to implement new processes.

Monday Work Management helps me collaborate effectively, centralizes planning, reduces manual follow-ups, and prevents last-minute surprises. It streamlines the event lifecycle from start to finish, making it invaluable for event planning and ensuring consistent, complete information.
Versatile Project Management with an Intuitive, Visually Appealing UI
What do you like best about the product?
I find that Monday is a versatile tool for project management and task delineation. My team enjoys it, especially considering that the UI is really right and visually appealing to work at.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure if I have any dislikes, but I find it to be a confusing to learn with no prior context
