Managing Tasks Made Easier with Monday.com

  • August 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is a powerful and flexible work management platform that makes it easier to organize projects, track progress, and collaborate as a team. The interface is clean, modern, and highly customizable, which makes it easy to tailor to different workflows whether for marketing, operations, or creative production.

One of the standout features is the visual layout of boards and the ability to switch views (Kanban, Timeline, Calendar, Gantt). Automations and integrations are also robust, helping cut down repetitive tasks and centralize information from tools like Slack, Google Drive, or Outlook.

That said, it can have a bit of a learning curve, especially for new users. Some advanced features are locked behind higher tier plans which may not be ideal for smaller teams or budgets. Occasionally, the interface can feel a bit overwhelming if too many columns or automations are in play.

Overall, Monday.com is a reliable and efficient tool for managing work across teams, especially if you are looking for structure, transparency, and real time collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
"Limited Offline Access"

Monday.com is cloud-based and doesn’t offer full offline capabilities. This could be a drawback for teams who work in areas with unstable internet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday Work Management helps solve several workflow challenges we face at the studio. With so many client sessions happening daily, it’s easy to lose track of which ones need immediate attention, such as those with upcoming photo viewings, missing folders, or VIP reshoots. Monday helps us prioritize tasks clearly so we know exactly which ProSelect albums to work on first.

It also solves the problem of scattered communication and manual tracking. Before, we would rely on back-and-forth messages or spreadsheets, which made it harder to see progress at a glance. Now everything is centralized and visible, helping the whole team stay in sync. We can assign tasks, monitor status updates, and set reminders all in one place.

As a result, it’s much easier to stay organized, meet deadlines, and ensure no client session gets overlooked, even during the busiest weeks.

Great for micro and macro project management!

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using Monday mostly because of the ease of use and quick view to understand what is being worked on, what the status is, and the ability to bring in cross functional stakeholders or collaborators at ease. It's a tool I utilize every day at work. The automations for workflows are very helpful and can be simple or very complex dependent on the goal. It was so simple to implement for our team once everything was setup, however it did take time to get it all setup properly for team use. If there's ever something wonky, the Help chat is very responsive and in depth even where you can share screen and they can quickly investigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I don't consider this a reason to not use the tool, I would like to see more intuitive features like changing the name of "Main Table".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross collaboration project management.

Monday-- The Ultimate Virtual Organizer

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Monday because of how easy it is to create groups and tasks within groups and subtasks within tasks. This has been such a game changer. My team and I review Monday weekly and also use it individually almost daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing that I wish could be better is the form feature. We use this for sales rep requests. I wish it would send an automatic receipt like google forms does with their answers so they remember what request they put in. I also wish the collection of these requests could be more user friendly to review as a team. Right now, we have to scroll all the way to the right to find the answers and when you have a huge form, this is not easily done. I also wish the form viewer was more intuitive, We have to search through all our requests to find the one to review in form view. I wish you could easily select the request that was put through and put it in form view within seconds. It's just not easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our team organized and on track, tracking events throughout the year and tracking marketing requests.

The Do-It-All Project Management Tool

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Monday's flexible enough to take on any task, but simple enough where anyone can use it. Monday scales with your skillset making every day project management a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
With so much flexibility comes a need for clean processes and systems. If you don't have a plan for it going forward, you can quickly get lost in a sea of boards, tasks, and automations with no execution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It can be easy to lost track of all of the "things". Monday makes it easy to keep track of what's important, how important it is, and the time invested into it.

What do you like best about the product?
We use this platform every workday. I love how fully customizable the software is. With a little more work on my end, I am able to make a smoother process for my team to use and track their various processes. We are a non-profit organization, and whenever we needed customer support, they were quick and assisted effortlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside to this software is that it occasionally is "down" for a period of time. Typically, this is not a long time, and with a few refreshes, we are back up and running.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all of our staff have one hub to access and use as a management software for various departments and uses has been a great benefit.

Monday - Make Organization Easier

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is a great task management system. It allows me to lay out a project and every little task that is part of it while tracking its progress and who is assigned to it. What I like best is being able to filter and create different views to make it quicker to see the information that I need. I love the ability to create automations as well for statuses and even emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is someday it lags or is down. Meaning you can't always access all of its features upfront. This causes issues when working on projects and you need to access different boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us keep organized and efficent. We know the statuse of the project and what needs to be done still.

What do you like best about the product?
We like to use Monday for project management, it's very handy to run down a check list of tasks. We use it daily and in our weekly check ins. It's very good for an office to keep up to date on what everyone is doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the easiest application to get the hang of in the beginning. Also moving items up and down is so obnoxious. The page either won't move or it flies up and down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a central place where the entire team can add updates and new tasks. It makes it easy for onboarding new employees because we have all the tasks for each event or program in Monday.com

Streamlined, Intuitive, and Surprisingly Versatile

  • August 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has completely changed how our team approaches workflow management. The interface is clean, user-friendly, and incredibly well-structured. This has made it easy for both new and experienced users to jump right in without a steep learning curve.

Boards and items are simple to create and customize, allowing us to tailor each workspace to the needs of specific projects or teams. The drag-and-drop functionality makes it easy to reorganize tasks as priorities shift and the built in search tools are powerful enough to instantly surface any detail, no matter how buried it might seem.

Defining user roles and responsibilities is seamless, which has improved team accountability and transparency. We’ve also found great value in using boards to manage time off, something we didn’t initially plan for but has proven to be a real asset for scheduling and planning.

Overall, Monday offers a smart balance of structure and flexibility, helping us stay organized and on track without overcomplicating our processes. Highly recommended for teams of any size looking to bring clarity and efficiency to their work.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you have a large number of boards navigation can become a bit overwhelming. It takes more effort to stay organized at scale, and without a clear naming or folder structure, it’s easy to lose track of where things are. A more robust board management or filtering system would help streamline access as your workspace grows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday Work Management helps us stay organized by providing a clear and intuitive structure for our workflows. Tasks are easy to visualize and manage thanks to the flexible board and item setup, which keeps everything from day-to-day responsibilities to big-picture planning in one place. The ability to define user roles ensures everyone knows what they’re accountable for, improving team coordination.

One unexpected benefit is using boards to track time off—something we hadn’t considered at first but now rely on regularly to manage team availability. The search functionality is also a game-changer, making it easy to locate updates, files, or specific tasks without digging through layers of information. Overall, Monday has streamlined our operations, improved visibility, and made our processes more efficient.
