Effortless Organization and Great Features

What do you like best about the product?
I find Monday easy to use and appreciate its great features. It really helps me stay organized with my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite being visually friendly, it can feel overwhelming at first. There are many views, automations, and settings that take time to master.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A common issue is that managers and teams often struggle to quickly assess progress. The introduction of multiple views—such as Kanban, Timeline, Calendar, Gantt, and Table—addresses this by allowing users to monitor status and progress in a way that best suits their workflow. This leads to faster status checks, clearer visual insights into timelines and potential bottlenecks, and makes it easier to prioritize tasks.

Powerful, Customizable, with a Steep Learning Curve

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the basic idea of monday Work Management; it's simple yet has a lot of potential. I value the integrations available and the extra features you can consolidate with it. This makes monday Work Management a great single point of entry and a source of truth that consolidates various systems without needing multiple subscriptions or software obligations. I also appreciate its customization to fit our specific business needs and the constant updates that keep it aligned with our needs. The addition of AI embedded in it also shows promising potential.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an option to pay per seat because we're in between tiers with the number of seats we need. Unfortunately, it's a major cost increase for us to move to the next tier, just for the single seat that we need over our current tier. It's not inexpensive, and the upfront payment is a bit challenging to cover for the year outright. Also, some of the integrations are provided by third parties and can be quite expensive, adding to the overall cost. Additionally, while it ultimately pays off, the initial setup requires an enormous amount of front-end work and there's quite a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday Work Management organizes and consolidates our workflows, offering a structured way to manage client details, project information, and business operations. Its scalability and ease of implementation make it a powerful hub for collaboration, file storage, and streamlining our operations.

What do you like best about the product?
I use monday Work Management to organize projects, streamline teamwork, and keep everyone aligned with clear and real-time visibility. It helps me centralize information, standardize workflows, and eliminate miscommunication by giving my team real-time visibility. What I like the most is the visibility and organization of my workflow. By letting me track everything clearly, I can avoid surprises and keep my team aligned without extra meetings. It was very practical for the initial setup.

Everything is good but automations should be more flexible

Effortless Setup, Ease of Use & Great for Collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
It is super easy to use and setup
The table style format is great because of how you can import and export to excel easily, also it is great for people used to excel
The ability to send automations to people using the AI summaries is great as well
What do you dislike about the product?
No real downsides, I hear people say it is expensive
Only thing is the wiki tool could be a bit better, for example something like Confluence would be amazing
From a product management perspective, the dev could be better as well which I have only trialled
And finally not being able to view full item cards is pretty annoying actually
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me give my stakeholders visibility on what I am working on
Amazing for tracking progress on different items I am working on
Keeps everything in one place rather than having multiple excel sheets for instance

Automation Powerhouse with Some Cost Concerns

What do you like best about the product?
I believe monday Work Management has strong automation capabilities, which is a big plus for us. The automation tools save us a lot of time, especially with status updates, email reminders, and task assignments happening automatically. We use the forms for our registration process since we manage several events simultaneously, and the real-time collaboration feature is very helpful for that. The form creation aspect is beneficial as it eliminates paper-based forms entirely. It keeps us proactive rather than reactive and ensures transparency across teams. Moreover, it's a good choice for organizations seeking structure, accountability, and visibility in one platform. Though it felt overwhelming initially, following the provided guides made it easier, and once we got the hang of it, it became really helpful and advantageous.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there's a learning curve when building complex automations. Some integrations require paid plans, which means that we're already paying, but for certain features, we have to pay extra. The cost has increased tremendously since last year. Also, it doesn't allow us to format words like bold or italic in forms, which is a bit inconvenient. When people submit forms, I can't download the whole thing as a PDF with the description intact; it just gives me the title, not the completed description.

monday Work Management helps us stay organized, automate task scheduling, integrate reminders, and collaborate seamlessly. It’s valuable for ensuring accountability and visibility across teams, while being proactive rather than reactive.

Customizable but Needs More Guidance

What do you like best about the product?
I like that monday Work Management is customizable. It lets you do all the things you want, like notifying the right people at the right time. There are a lot of options for how a project might be configured. It's valuable for a wide variety of project management tasks, including social media management, revisions, design, copy, and planning. I think the ease of setup was another highlight; it was extremely easy for our team to get started. It's really good at what it does, and I don't see anything else as good as it on the scale we need to work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the customization feels like too much, and it's not clear the best way to set something up. Even though they have a lot of templates to help, there's not a lot of guidance. I wish it suggested ways to make setting up easier or offered rules-based solutions for recurring tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use monday Work Management to centralize project management, providing visibility and organization to avoid jumping around in chats and emails.

What do you like best about the product?
Work is very centralized - it is a one stop shop for integral information & managing our custom workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't select more than 500 items at a time & can't do recurring tasks without a higher price plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seems like Monday is working on platform performance - specifically page loads & lagging dashboards. This will be extremely beneficial for me, as I have previously experienced extremely slow page loads on Monday which leads to drastically decreased efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to add several deliverables under each project and set milestones. I can update the dates, and the changes are tracked, which is really helpful. I also appreciate being able to update percentages and assign tasks to different team members. They receive a notification when a task is assigned, which keeps communication seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that i dislike

I use monday Work Management to solve transparency issues, allowing business owners to check on projects easily and see updates. I can log deliverables, provide updates, track changes, and assign tasks effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to make multiple boards for different purposes and connect them to be dynamic and automated. I find it helpful to manage everyday tasks and long-term projects, while including the right people on my team to be notified of things that are relevant to them. I think it's easy to visualize completed tasks and automate notifications when things need to get done or when a deadline is approaching.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a long time to adjust a work culture to all be on the platform at a consistent utilization. It takes lots of practice to create efficient processes to use the boards effectively. Some integrations and automations are not yet supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping cross-team collaboration, knowledge transfer, and project management.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the workflow capabilities of monday Work Management, which significantly enhance our project management and team communication. The software is impressively versatile, offering both macro and micro views that allow us to manage individual projects effectively while also maintaining a comprehensive view of all our projects as a whole. This versatility, combined with its ability to facilitate cross-functional department collaboration, is invaluable as it establishes a single source of truth for project details, status, and participants, all within one platform. This centralization effectively reduces email traffic by hosting all necessary communication within the software itself. Moreover, I find the analysis of project performance much more straightforward compared to using spreadsheets, and this efficiency is further supported by the ease of creating templates once the workflow design details are loaded.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the export reports feature in monday Work Management challenging for collaborating with external parties. It's difficult to efficiently share specific sections of a project with people outside the platform. I wish there was a way to easily select project sections and export them into a Google Sheets or CSV file. This would allow me to email project status updates to external collaborators who do not use monday Work Management.

I use monday Work Management for project management and team communication, streamlining collaboration with macro and micro project views, reducing email traffic, and providing an intuitive platform for analyzing project performance.
