Great automation and date tracking with easy assignment capabilities

What is our primary use case?

My office is a boutique immigration firm. We use Monday to keep track of our active cases from beginning to end.

It helps us organize our different departments and keep track of who had what case and how they are working on it. We use Monday to provide guidance on different cases from beginning to end. We also use Monday for administrative tasks and projects. We are able to organize our different departments and sort out important cases on Monday. The automation helps everything run smoothly.

How has it helped my organization?

Monday has greatly improved the accountability everyone in my firm has regarding cases. Case managers are able to quickly assign cases and we can keep track of the entire process on Monday.

We are able to see all the active cases we have on a day-to-day basis and quickly assign them if they are unassigned. We have been able to organize each department thoroughly and separate them as necessary. We also have used Monday to aid in administrative tasks throughout both offices. It aids in our office-to-office communication as well.

What is most valuable?

We thoroughly enjoyed the automation to help us see where our cases are going next. The entire visual aspect of Monday is also a great resource for our firm as it makes it easy for us to point out certain things and for our management meetings to go smoothly.

The ability to track dates and times we need cases to be completed has been of great use to my firm. Our attorneys are able to monitor and track our cases with ease every day as they please. It has greatly improved how we track out cases and hit our deadlines.

What needs improvement?

Having more integrations for different specialties that use Monday would be great. Monday is awesome as it is, however, expanding would also be helpful.

Monday should have people reach out to different heads of businesses in different sectors to see how they use Monday and create more templates and maybe even videos on how they use it so there are more ways for people who are just starting out to find more examples to see how to tailor Monday to their needs.

I met up with a specific immigration attorney who helps immigration firms organize and pull their business to more paperless solutions she introduced us to Monday and showed us how she uses it and we tailored it for our needs.

For how long have I used the solution?

My office has been using Monday.com for over two years.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We only used paper to "assign"/give assignments and Excel to track our cases. It was hard to keep track of who had each case and how they were doing with the assignments. The papers would also get lost in files or paper stacks, so a lot of assignments were falling through the cracks. It was hard to maintain and the switch to Monday was excellent for our case tracking. On Monday, we are able to notify those who are newly assigned to a case and track their work as well. All of our case tracking and assignments are easily visible to everyone in the firm so that nothing falls through the cracks if it is put on Monday.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Having someone from Monday work with you on your needs for Monday is a great way to get started. It helps you see the price you should go for.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We met with an immigration attorney who works with organizing businesses. She said Monday was the best one so we stuck wiith it.

Almost Perfect Project Management Software

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use Monday to organize projects and collaborate with team members who share those projects with you. The new addition of sub items also helps keep the length of lists under control.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to organize my boards either by time periods or projects but ideally, I would like to do both and the Gantt view is not what I mean. I want to toggle between them so that I can have different views of what needs doing and what is done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday helps me organize many complicated projects across several clients and several partners with ease.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is probably the best project management software out there and they are coming out with new features all the time to make it better.

Fantastic tool for managing projects at a nonprofit

What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable Monday.com is. There are so many integrations and the ability to custom build automations is invaluable. Our workflow is so much more streamlined now.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly cannot think of anything I dislike about it. It's amazing! When I first started I felt a bit limited but the lack of automations but since then, Monday has come out with so many more options and a build your own customization tool as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were previously receiving creative requests through emails. Requests would get lost or turn into massive email threads and it was incredibly disorganized. With Monday, we have a form that people make requests through that directly feeds into our task board and its so much more efficient now.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I strongly suggest looking up tutorials on how to use Monday. It's a complex tool, but when you know how to use it, it's powerful.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the automations and the fact that we can do everything from gathering feedback and displaying it in a chart to assigning automated project assignments. It's been a great help in keeping our teams focused on what they're strong at while staying on target. The capacity to collaborate with team members in numerous ways and conveniently track project progress. It's convenient to be able to add an informal checklist to a pulse or subpulse for further job management.
What do you dislike about the product?
We recently began utilizing Monday Work Docs and want we could add labels to papers in the same way as we do to our dashboards. Our teams would benefit from scanning all boards and papers for labelling. Unfortunately, the scrolling targets leave much to be desired; searching and filtering function quite well, but there are performance difficulties; the good news is that practically every difficulty I've seen has improved with time, and Monday has continually worked on the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using an automated template each time a new transaction was closed, we were able to systematize the project flow. This was very helpful in providing our customers with a seamless experience and actually broke the hurdles. Monday also helps ensure that the project is completed cleanly. This is a great way to collaborate with your team and browse projects. It takes small notes so you can remember it, save the entire conversation, and the interface is pretty intuitive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend that anyone who wants to keep tasks on track use Monday.com rather than spreadsheets or to-do lists. Monday has gradually improved, however there are still some concerns with response and quickness. It is recommended, although it lacks the performance potential of a native or offline solution.

What do you like best about the product?
Powerful and adaptable software that can be tailored to practically any workflow or project tracking need. It allows me to keep organized, communicate with my coworkers, and get a daily/weekly/monthly overview of everything going on with projects. The support personnel responds quickly to created issues and provides professional and useful replies in what appears to be an instant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having so much freedom might make it difficult to keep everything together at times. We had to spend some time developing workflows to find the best ones for our purposes, and then we had to lock them down. When creating various groups inside a board, I want the columns in the boards to be able to differ. It also slows at times, so a higher pace would be preferable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com enables us to have a single system for many things, which streamlines internal procedures and enables us to handle numerous activities and business operations effectively and reliably. We use it to track and deploy changes to our software and solution delivery. Forms are used to collect client data and conduct surveys. Views are used to show clients the status of the project. It boosts the efficiency of my work team by keeping everything organized and allowing me and my colleagues to access all of the relevant information in one location.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a shot: it's the best-designed UI/UX project management and collaboration tool I've tested and used. I can only propose that you give Monday a try; I am confident that it will meet your demands because it is extremely adaptable and jam-packed with features and functions that will undoubtedly improve your daily work habits.

What do you like best about the product?
It is one of the best software products I ever used till now. Monday has lots of cool features such as different views of the same board to please all members of the team irrespective of their personal choices.

Automations are one of the best features where you can automate routine tasks and notify people across different platforms.

Adding new features and hosting webinars to learn more about them is one of the best practices.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike in the product package apart from room for improvements, which I am sure Monday developers actively work on and bring to customers ASAP.

One area of improvement would be MyWork which brings data from all the boards but doesn't have different views as of now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating effectively across teams and domains. This software enables us to be productive and same lots of man-hours on communication and updates.

Managing projects, tasks, production, and teams becomes easier with the tools provided.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend this software if you are looking for using it to manage tasks/teams effectively.

The best way to make your Home Office hours more productive

What do you like best about the product?
Monday allows me to organize my tasks, set deadlines, add a timer for each task separately and with that, I can see what is taking me more time or which task could perhaps be optimized, Here in Brazil I work from home so the fact that I can add deadlines on my tasks and have a reminder in the email and in the app itself also allows me not to forget any important task, one of the greatest things that I love is that I can set my campaigns there and I'll have a great calendar created for me! Monday changed my life and optimized my work routine.
What do you dislike about the product?
Until now I have nothing to complain about. Monday is complete from my point of view! I don't even know how to live without it anymore, I would be lost! Thank you for existing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My routine organization is better now that I have more control over it.
I can set my campaigns and not lose any deadline to set up the prices.
I can leave comments there so my team can give a check on the jobs without losing any time!

Flexible software to manage all our projects and do some automation.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is extremely flexible and fully adapted to different needs. With the introduction of sub-items, new dashboards, useful columns, etc., this product has become extremely versatile over the years and has been used in all projects. Best of all, Monday sends updates when certain statuses change, so everyone stays in the loop, even outside of Monday's universe. The support I get from the team is great. Few products I can say the same.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a large tool with a lot of capabilities, and figuring out how to utilize it for your specific purposes will take some time. But it is something you must do for each instrument. I haven't discovered any complaints for this product yet because they added the above-mentioned capabilities. They provide plugins, email tasks straight to their platform, and APIs to/from many sources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Monday.com to manage all of our many minor and complicated projects; without this program, we would lose numerous tasks "on the road." On the development side, we assist our developers in gathering all of the information required for the specific project in one location rather than writing several emails. Because all of our information is consolidated, everyone is on the same page, which makes work lot more efficient and vital activities stay focused. It is straightforward to interact with other observers via task messages. If I need to refer to a completed document, I just add it to the conversation. The ease of communication has been extremely beneficial to us as we transition to remote work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It would be beneficial if you spent some time exploring all of Monday's potential and considering how you can best use it. Don't be scared to ask the Monday team any questions or make ideas; in the past, any inquiries you've posted were answered with swiftly.

What do you like best about the product?
Our team has NEVER had a program, platform, or software that matched our needs like MONDAY.com! Several teams at our nonprofit have become remote since covid, and finding Monday.com has enabled us to stay organized and connected with updates and collaborate across all our projects and tasks. We have grown to use it with several departments now, which has increased our ability to be more efficient and transparent in our work. Monday.com has been a massive help to our nonprofit, and we are thrilled to have such a versatile way to track and move our work forward!
What do you dislike about the product?
There hasn't been anything we dislike; I just have not gotten the time yet to dig into all the options that would enable our boards to be as efficient with integrations and other options. I look forward to getting to that point and taking some things to the next level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have managed our work across our teams so much better with Monday.com. It helps us to work together better and stay on top of what is done and what's needed. Some of our team are in different cities and states, and we have been able to onboard new staff much more efficiently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend using Monday.com for any type of team working environment involving project management and tracking of activity/deliverables, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I started using Monday.com with my team and then started using it myself to track my own projects. I love the main tables; I can see all of my projects and their statuses, and when I'm finished with one, I use one of Monday.com's automations to move it to the "Done" group. The interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to use. I don't know how I'd live without Monday.com!
What do you dislike about the product?
Familiarizing yourself with the software does take some time. Monday.com has so many different integrations, features, and automation. Luckily, they have many instructional videos to help you out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Monday.com for project management and planning. Using the software also helps our team stay aligned on what everyone is working on. The clean and simple interface allows me to focus on priority projects, but I also am aware of future projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Monday.com is very user-friendly and shows a holistic view of your teams' projects. We like how we can add updates to an item if we want to provide more context. Monday.com allows you to be as detailed as you wish.
