A very agile, customizable project management platform
What do you like best about the product?
Workspaces. I love to create new groups with new tasks and new subitems. There are already default categories that are assigned columns in the workspaces and the group. But the ability to create new categories that are customizable and relevant to your work is amazing. Last, the ability to integrate with Google Drive and applications is great; It's seamless and simple to add my many docs and sheets to Monday.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much really. This may create much confusion, but sub-items to the sub-items would help. Some of the templated workspaces for different roles can be improved. I think a Youtube integration and a Adobe-style revision tool would be great for digital assets. A data analysis tool with Google Analytics would be great; I'd like to see Monday create a data-studio type application with the tools they have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization. They ability to have projects, tasks, and sub-items right in front of everyone is important. Monday is much easier to use than Trello, Basecamp, and of course creating sheets in Google. Color-coded tasks make organization simple and the different project status update (Even customizable ones) keeps everyone on the same page.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The interface is simple to use. The custom tools and ability to make complex workspaces are available for the seasoned marketing professional.

What do you like best about the product?
The way I can organize all jobs at once, with real time updates across all platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little pricey for the amount of users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have converted over our old filing system to Monday. So all jobs are now easily accessible by all team members, and there are no more lost folders.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Large capability platform, for any business. If you need an organizational re-vamp try it out for free for a couple of days, you won't regret it. The learning curve is completely doable if you know how you want to organize your information. You can create any structural platform you need.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that my work flow can be managed and its so customizable that I never need another system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the lack of phone support. I rarely need help, but would rather email to schedule a call than attempt to explain myself over email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to put everything in one place from every different software and keep my workflow systematic

Allow the admin role to be filled by a technically aware individual so to get the best use of the software

What do you like best about the product?
Monday has made tracking a variety of projects seamless for our company. It has truly been a game changer allowing us to work more efficiently and to be on the same page as our remote employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint is that I often need to go back to an archived item to look something up and can't easily navigate to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday has allowed different departments to work on the same projects and keep everyone up to speed using Monday's intuitive interface.
We have been able to communicate issues quickly to each other and have been able to hire remote employees and seamlessly add them into our work flow.

We reached out to other business contacts to see what tools they were using and Monday was the most widely used and praised. Spend some time talking to others and then also looking at all the features and bord templates that are available to see if it is a fit for you.
Great tool for work and tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy, user friendly task handling, it's helped me keep up with tm tasks and assignments. The reminders I get from Monday.com help me stay on task and schedule and what I look forward to my week of assignments
What do you dislike about the product?
There can be confuse when working the board but after awhile you get the hang of it. Also the reminders can be hectic in your inbox especially outlook but make a rule for it and it becomes easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits of staying on task and on deadline as well.
Wonderful tool for any business
What do you like best about the product?
I love the customizable aspect of the monday boards - you can pretty much set up a board for anything to best suit your needs! I also love the status feature and automation; there are SO many ways you can automate based on what you are trying to accomplish and it is extremely helpful to have that set up in the background and not have to think about "did I remember to send that email or do that task".
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I wish you could do with the Pro plan (or any plan less than the executive) is assigning permissions on each board based on viewers/guests/members of that board. I use this for our Real Estate team and with multiple agents, I wish each agent would only see the items assigned to them on that board instead of ALL items on the board. You can change view settings in the columns based on members, but it would be nice for each person to only be able to view their own items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday.com gives me a central location to keep track of all of our real estate transactions with all of the details; I can go back whenever I need to and look up something from a previous year. This has also allowed me to keep up with the total sales volume for each agent so that they can go in and look at any given time where they are for the year and how close (or far) they are to reaching their sales goal. This has also given us a central location for communication for each of the closing transactions when an item is needed from the agent.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has been a game-changer for us since we started using it for our broadcast production teams. Having the whole team connected and literally on the same page gives us a great overview of our projects and timelines. Being able to message our teams directly within the application has also considerably reduced the number of emails being sent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users had a little frustration at first using the interface but quickly adapted especially when they saw the benefits of using the application. The latest update has improved the interface and made it more friendly to new users however.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we had was our different teams were somewhat working in silos. By bringing them all together on monday.com we could easily see at a glance what everyone was working on and their project timelines.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Monday.com is one of the best project management solutions in the market. Being web-based it is easy to use and the more team members you get onto the platform, the better it is.

It looks great and does everything I need it to. Assign colleagues to a task, create workspaces and oversee projects.

Some automation clashes are not clear and difficult to resolve.

Workload allocation is a breeze, our whole team is now an efficient machine.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate most how user-friendly it has been. Learning a new system takes time, but Monday makes it easy. I also appreciate that they are adding new functionality - the new Doc. feature has been really cool. Instead of using Google Docs to create documents, I can build out drafts or take notes right from within Monday.com
What do you dislike about the product?
There is sometimes overlap with the other software that we rely on. Two examples of that overlap are:
1. Slack vs. Monday communication threads -- it can be difficult at times to ensure conversations are hosted in their appropriate platform so that all the relevant information is stored in one place
2. Google docs vs Monday docs -- the new Monday Docs feature is AWESOME however, it can be difficult to share those internal docs with people outside of the organization - I would love to only rely on ONLY Monday.com for doc creation, however right now I still need to use Google Docs for certain projects

Monday.com has been the most helpful for project organization & team visibility. It keeps everyone on the same page with project details because they can all live in one place. Using boards to manage projects has been a game-changer for our team productivity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Identify the problem you want to solve & ensure all product users have time to navigate the site & build their own boards. I found that whenever a board layout was a;ready built for a dept. lead, there was a barrier with how quickly the dept. lead adapted.
