Efficient Task Management with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I truly appreciate the automation capabilities within monday Work Management, especially with the form functionality that initiates tasks automatically, making our processes seamless. The MyWork screen is a feature I find invaluable, as it consolidates all tasks from different boards, providing an organized view. This is instrumental for task prioritization throughout my day and week. As a supervisor, the ability to filter and view the MyWork screen for each team member stands out for me, allowing me to ensure everyone has a fair workload distribution. Additionally, the initial setup of monday Work Management was very straightforward, even though it took some time to tailor it to fit our entire organization's needs. Overall, these features collectively enhance productivity and task management efficiency for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the Docs feature could be better, as it often becomes confusing in terms of when and how to use a monday.com doc. The limitation of not being able to share these docs across other boards can become messy and cumbersome for our workflow. My workaround has been to use 'links' instead, which directs to documents shared on our team’s cloud drive, but this isn't ideal. Additionally, I feel that the numbers/calculation features lack functionality. I would appreciate more advanced capabilities, such as viewing column totals, sums, and averages in tables containing numbers. This limitation hinders the efficiency of working with numerical data within the platform.

I use monday Work Management for to streamline workflows, execute strategic planning and follow up, manage tasks, ensure team accountability, and support project planning effectively. The automations and MyWork screen prioritize tasks and enhance processes, improving overall team efficiency.

It solves the problem of scattered information and inconsistent workflows. By bringing all projects, tasks, approvals, and timelines into one unified system, it improves visibility, increases accountability, and streamlines collaboration. The result is faster execution and fewer bottlenecks.

I love that monday Work Management is quite intuitive and offers excellent ease of use. This feature makes the platform accessible and simple to handle. I also greatly value the boards and columns that allow me to visualize information in a summarized way, which facilitates tracking the status of work and the distribution of workloads within the team. Additionally, I found that the initial setup was quite simple, which is a great advantage for the quick implementation of the software in our workflow. The ability to manage each team member's work and get a clear view of what is pending and what is coming up really helps to coordinate tasks efficiently. Overall, these aspects of monday Work Management make it an indispensable tool for team management.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some cases, when I have two tasks with many activities, the images stop displaying, turning into just an image icon. Additionally, sometimes it experiences some delays, although it might depend on the server load. It's not very frequent, but I believe these two points could be improved in the version I am using. Here, I would add the possibility of being able to buy or acquire 1 more user, for example, and not packages of 3 or 5, because if my work team is 4 or 7, there are unused users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Monday Work Management to get a clear view of the work distribution in my team, manage pending tasks, and understand the workload. It allows me to visualize current and ongoing work, improving organization and planning.
Highly Customizable, But Needs Better Notifications

I like the ability to customize every board depending on the projects and on the needs. This customization makes it highly adaptable to various project requirements, enhancing my team’s efficiency. I also appreciate that it offers different types of views, which make it easier for everyone to focus on the aspects most relevant to their roles. Moreover, I like the feature that allows us to leave comments and updates, which keeps everyone aware of what's going on. This transparency and communication help streamline project management and ensure that no important details are missed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be better if monday Work Management had a more robust system for notifications. The current notification system can be quite weak, especially when connecting with Microsoft Teams. There are times it glitches, and as a result, notifications aren't sent, which means some updates can get lost.

I use monday Work Management to keep up with projects, track progress and status, and manage tasks for the entire team efficiently.

The basic application is quite good, once you have mastered it there is a lot power that can be leveraged to get some good results.
It's key to understand, that as with any piece of off the shelf software, it may not do things or follow procedures/processes you may already have in place. Therefore you have to either create work-arounds or be prepared to adapt your SOPs/processes
On the times that I've had issues, customer service have been prompt at responding and in most cases have been able to fix the issue in a timely manner.

There are some key features that are missing and the only way to mitigate this is to purchase third-party plugins.
These are often built/designed around a feature that someone else has identified but may not necessarily fix yours.

What stands out to me is the variety of information that can be represented and monitored—not just assignments or to-dos, but also items with different purposes and characteristics.

The export to PDF feature produces inconsistent results, which seem to depend on the type of data or the specific view being displayed. Additionally, it lacks configuration options that would let you focus on exporting only the most important information, such as when working with Gantt views.

The ability to move beyond traditional spreadsheets and represent data with enhanced functionality, such as item-specific updates and widgets for displaying information in various formats, is a significant advantage. This approach makes the data more visually engaging and feels much more accessible compared to other options.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a fantastic tool that really helps me stay organized and keep track of my orders. It makes managing everything much easier and more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, orders fail to update their status after being shipped and do not automatically transfer to the appropriate groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool monitors the time it takes to enter orders. For instance, it can display that User 1 spends 2 minutes to fully process a single order.
