Amazing project management tool for alignment across departments!
What do you like best about the product?
Automations are the best I've seen! I've used asana, trello, JIRA, and other tools and Monday has a ton of out-of-the-box automation that make it easy to trigger reminders, follow-ups, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's somewhat hard to link boards to get a full view, so when using a board for a singular project, but teams use boards for their entire "team", it's hard to get that teams deliverables to funnel how they're supposed to, if they would say for example, not be willing to use a project specific board. Luckily, we haven't run into that issue, but would be great to figure out how to give someone a clean view of all their stuff assigned to them on each board. This probably even exists and I just don't know how to do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management and alignment across stakeholders (between marketing, operations, product, and legal). Automating review processes and triggering notifications when items are reviewed.
Great for Marketing Team Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
We love the ability of this tool to manage and track our marketing projects, including the creative requests
What do you dislike about the product?
The Update log does not have a search option, so I find myself scrolling and doing a browser based search to find an item on the update log.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Continuous tracking for our project and task management for the non-centralized Marketing team.
Not just for projects - track anything!
What do you like best about the product?
We like that monday.com is highly customizable. While we do track projects, we also need other work management software. Our business needs are unique and we are a small company, so we either couldn't find products that did what we wanted or were expensive. monday.com allowed us to essentially create different software products that fit our business. The ability to change the terminology for the columns, the ability to provide tips on column use, the automations, the different views....it is all really flexible.
We also appreciate that the monday.com team continues to make improvements based on user feedback and then readily shares that information with users via emails and zoom calls.
It's a great product. I find something new and useful every week. My latest favorite is the Llama farm.

What do you dislike about the product?
I really like the product. My only real frustration is the huge jump in price to the enterprise version. It's a huge leap....and we only need a few of those features. We just can't justify the price jump for our small organization.
I have a few feature wish list items...but I don't hold it against monday.com for not already having these. They continually update the product and I'm sure they have good reasons why these aren't part of monday.com yet. Still, here is my wish list:
It would be great if there were some standard dropdown columns available or a way to automatically create reference tables for common things: Like US State.
I also don't love how groups work. They visually separate items, but you really have to create a column to represent the group name or the data about groups isn't really reportable.
It would be great to be able to have some reference data on a board other than just the description at the top. Example: just a text box with a description of the board purpose, a link to instructions, any reminders.
Lastly, it would be great if the system could automatically populate a start and end date column from the values in a timeline column (since those are easier to create reports from).

monday.com allows us to have teams track key elements about their work in a standard way to provide needed strategic data, but still customize their tracking to fit their workflow needs.
It also allows us to show relationships between work as we have a very matrixed organization with supporting functions.
Essentially, the combination of tracking and reporting both in more list form and visual format were key. As a low tech company that did very little via systems, we needed a single piece of software to act as a CRM, project tracking, OKR tracking, Status dashboard, issues list, inventory system for our internal equipment, request system for our internal help desk. We have been able to configure monday.com to do all of that. Separate systems designed specifically for those purposes might work better. But we are too small and non-tech savvy to evaluate all of that software and get everyone using it. monday.com is configurable enough to do it all..

Monday.com is a handy organizational task tracking tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The organizational layout of Monday.com is great. It is fairly straightforward to learn. It helps me keep my tasks organized and is user friendly! I look forward to experimenting and learning more within monday.com
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't experienced any major difficulties with monday.com yet. It would be cool if you could customize color schemes a little more (rather than just the light/dark etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps eliminate long email chains and is a great collaboration tool. I love that it has time tracking built in and keeps all of the project files organized.
My go-to website every morning.
What do you like best about the product?
What I enjoy about Monday.com is how simple and straightforward it is to design the perfect workspace for my job. Every chart and tab is customized to meet our company's needs. It is my go-to every morning when I arrive at the office. I am able to communicate with my co-workers smoothly through the inbox tab. I like the feature that shows which employees have viewed which workspace, and their activities. It is nice to be able to lock specific workspaces and manage viewers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any dislike; it has been very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our purchase orders organized and having the option for other employees to view updated information. Task management checklist, and communication between employees.
Useful tool for team synergy
What do you like best about the product?
Project status can be easily updated and tracked by the entire team
What do you dislike about the product?

Awareness of project workflow by the entire team.
Ease of tracking project statuses.

Monday is AWESOME
What do you like best about the product?
Monday is perfect for managing multiple projects across different teams. It's collaborative, efficient, and can be used for multiple things. There's hardly anything you can't do with Monday. LOVE IT!
What do you dislike about the product?
I actually can't think of anything that I don't like about Monday.com. My organization uses it across all departments and we all love it. It would be nice if there was an option for multiple people to sign one form.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday helps me track multiple projects and compliance-related tasks. It's beneficial because it's great for documenting business processes, it's collaborative, and most data can be exported.
Our workflow completely changed when we implemented Monday
What do you like best about the product?
The organization of tasks and the ability to tag my manager when something is ready for review. It's nice to be able to customize the labels so she can see when something is ready for review at first glance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The glitch happens when I don't add myself to a task immediately. It will move the task to the general board and remove it from my view since I have it filtered by the owner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us become more agile. We work in two-week-long sprints, and Monday helps us adhere to the sprint and keeps us on time with projects. We can also track what our team is doing, and we have become more collaborative because of Monday.
Good start, but some way to go!
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has been very helpful in setting us up to use it and is very open and honest with their technical support and feedback. Our team has really pushed the tool to its limits and the Monday.com team is excited to engage with us in improving its performance. On the whole, Monday.com has some significant pluses' that are very attractive to its users. It's very easy to get into it and its visual look and feel are very pleasing to the eye making it easy to follow and identify where to go and what you need to do. There are lots of templates for the average user to get to grips with and it really meets the demands of what most users want to use it for.
What do you dislike about the product?
From using and stress testing its capabilities, I have found that under the hood, some of its capabilities have been disappointing for its lack of flexibility. For example, the formula column & automation options are more limited than I had hoped and do have the functionality to do the processes that our team needs to fully centralize our processes on Monday.com.
I think also there should be made easier to set up charts & dashboards. I would go to say that having a dashboard wizard that guides the user through what they want to display would be really useful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem it has initially resolved has been project tracking, CRM & management level capabilities. The benefit is a centralized view of company/project data.
Organized and helpful
What do you like best about the product?
Using monday.com for the full-funnel sales process has been extremely helpful for my team. Working in separate boards for deals in the pipeline, being considered, and those that are nearing launch or have launched has kept things organized for different teams involved in different parts of the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not experienced many downsides to monday.com, except the obvious possibility that the website is occasionally down, so when our team does a large percentage of our work on the site and it is down we are unable to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping things organized and maintaining paper trails that often get lost over Slack or email. This is keeping teams more accountable and increasing productivty.
