Perfect tool for our business

What do you like best about the product?
A perfect tool for our office. Colleagues can view and update the board online so that everyone is up to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far we like it and we haven't discovered anything that we don't like
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the beginning it is a bit of a search, but gradually everyone finds their way in this.

Easy to navigate, good choice of templates, the platform is constantly improving/evolving

Some features that were once part of standard plan are now only accessible with pro plan...for example dependency feature

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the tool. The user interface is nice and easy to use. The automations (which is what makes it so powerful) are easy to use, even for beginners.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some things that you may want to do, and you may think a tool of this caliber can do, but every tool has some shortcomings. Monday is no exception. However, with its advanced integrations through tools like Zapier and Integromat or the custom apps in their marketplace or using their open API, you can pretty much make anything happen if you know how to!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage my projects for clients, my sales flow, and my support ticket process. Most of my clients are Monday users, and I support them in optimizing how to use the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how customizable the fields are. You can tailor it for any type of project management, even if it's not just about due dates. You can make the status anything you want it to be. Not just not started, progress, and complete. You can say like "waiting on contract."
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to see different layouts like calendar view, workload view, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me stay organized with my clients and it also allows for project status communication with people I collaborate with. It helps eliminates a lot of back and forth emails.

Just do it! You will not regret it.

What do you like best about the product?
The degree to which the field names and types, as well as the data you enter can be customised for your exact needs. The automations are fantastic as are the links to other boards, data and services. This all makes using the platform incredibly easy, rewarding and useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing is perfect. Occasionally we find a lack of functionality in a specific piece or style of data that would be 'nice to have'. The support pages are generally very helpful to identify if there are workarounds, or if the issue has been identified previously and flagged for future development.
One thing we don't like is the quota on automations - these are incredibly useful, save a lot of time and help to prevent errors on repetitive, but complex tasks. The quota seems to be set too low - it incentivises upgrade to a higher subscription, but we have no need for any of the other features of the higher subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining an overview of our operation and providing tools to help us plan for the future. Monday.com is helping do work that we couldn't afford to pay a consultant to do for us.

What do you like best about the product?
I most like how you can track the status of your projects with the time tracker, as well as updated the status of the task with "working on it" and "done".
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes. I only have great feedback for the use of this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm taking out the extra communication needed between team members and waiting on people to get back to emails. It's so easy to track where you are up to with projects that I'm completely minimizing back and forth.

You should absolutely take the leap and use it!

What do you like best about the product?
the ability to create and modify groups and sub categories within each list so it works exactly as you need for tracking purposes
What do you dislike about the product?
did lose a bit of data initally when not having the sub categories setup correctly when moving between groups but was more user error than program issue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
been able to track all of our jobs from quoting to completion from multiple devices while also been able to uplaod documents for supervisors on site and them add photos directly to job files while on site

I went through several different systems before discovering Monday and wish I'd known about it so much earlier as it has saved so much time and double handling of information

What do you like best about the product?
Easy customization of the fields in each table allows excel-like functionality but with the user-interface and database management tools of a full ERP system. We use it to simplify an ever-increasing array of business functions from our initial purpose of managing incoming deal flow to other areas like one-off project management (gantt charts), schedule task management (reminders on recurring admin & PR tasks) , databases for HR (employee lists), IT (lists of equipment), recurring business processes (eg. onboarding new staff), etc. Basically we've created a full ERP system for the business that handles everything except the accounts. Everyone can be involved in the creation and ongoing improvement of the system without the need for dedicated in-house IT staff because managing and improving the system is so user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike, but if I could improve one area it would be to get more formatting tools on the analytics reports. The on-screen live experience is excellent, but printing off to pdfs for distribution is a bit clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many tasks used to be managed with excel sheets that were hard to use, hard to share and hard to report. Monday.com makes this much better without the need for IT resources to achieve it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend to use Monday.com, so you can stop researching alternatives now and instead turn your attention to building processes and saving time for your team.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to delegate, review and tick things off my todo list. It keeps me organised in all aspects of my job, and personal tasks aswell. It's better than other companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find it hard to keep track of things that have been added to list items, such as comments in threads as well as file uploads, and other documents that are hard to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we are solving include running our editorial calendar, content schedule, branded content schedule and team tasks. It helps solve the issue of inter-department communication and streamlines everything.

I like that our team can log on and see who is working on what-that way we can support but also know when we should hold off asking for more if someone is in the middle of a big project.

It is weird finding the navigation for the task list.
