Remarkable & User-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com truly holds a unique niche for workplace software, that niche being the ability to totally and uniquely create a workplace software that genuinely meets your organizational needs in a way that makes sense. You no longer need to fit your business around a software mold but rather create your mold for your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback from a functional standpoint (and this is not unique to Monday.com but rather to any subscription type service) is you do not own rights to Monday's integration partners. In other words, should Monday.com choose to remove an integration partner or demote a partner (which we experienced), you may be required to rework your workflow in part or entirely. Again, this is a known factor with our rapidly developing subscription-based world, but it is a consideration. Beyond that, Monday.com (like any workplace software) is an investment. All things considered, it is reasonably priced per tier, and (as a non-profit), worked with our organization to reduce cost. Objectively and from a non-profit perspective, the charge is high for most in our industry but fair and inexpensive for others industries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solve countless problems by using Monday.com. Our entire organization utilizes custom built workspaces to solve department-specific issues such as onboarding, continuous education monitoring, event management and communications, staff & HR related processes, etc. We process nearly 10,000 automations per month, each an action that would have otherwise required some type of human effort saving us countless hours per week amongst our entire staff!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Familiarize yourself with low-code software and understand the nuances required to use this tool best.

Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate monday.com's ability to group items into types, months, and boards. Sharing with my team weekly allows us to keep track of upcoming project deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Moving items between boards can be irritating if you do not have all the same fields in each table. If you have both beginning and end dates for a task, sorting by date is weird.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use monday.com for all ongoing projects. We recently began using the boards to create multi-project tracking systems, allowing us to avoid pinch points in our small team.
Good Project Management Tool for Teams
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to collaborate with teammates across different projects. Also, they are constantly trying out new features. Slicker thank other competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a small learning curve in order to fully maximize the features available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management. Easy to communicate with other people.

What do you like best about the product?
I am really digging the variety and scope of different features and components! It is visual and dynamic. I love the fireworks when completing a task!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet to really dislike - I sometimes have a slow learning curve and there are so many options that can be overwhelming.The tutorials are helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making invisible work visible - our teams can see and track and work more effectively together.
Best organizational program ever
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to create different boards for different projects! In addition, you can personalize each board to fit the project, and then tag your team members on individual items. The notifications for this program is amazing too- the phone app is super user friendly and is able to notify me when changes occur, even when I'm away from my desktop.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike, but I would say that the program is a bit overwhelming at first use. This is fixable though, since there are so many instructional and training videos on how to navigate the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One major problem that I solved was being able to track different task items for different programs. Now, it's easy to see which tasks are prioritized and due.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check it out first and speak with an advisor if necessary. Monday.com is brilliant but has many features, some that will be relevant to you and some that may not. This will ensure you are on the right plan. Having said that, Monday.com is very intuitive and has a very visually simple interface.
Great Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is really easy to understand and navigate. My team loves that we can have different boards with project updates, as well as have documents and dashboards. We've used it for simple document storage, all the way to complex projects with multiple team members and tasks. Personally, I've used Monday.com at multiple jobs and each time it's been an amazing tool to utilize and integrate with teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Monday.com is that inbox and notifications area can get pretty cluttered really easily. It can be a little difficult keeping track of everything and making sure I don't miss something, so if there was a way to better organize that or present that information, that would be great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team has used Monday.com to schedule candidate interviews, house company information, have onboarding roadmaps, resources, and more. I've realized that there's no limit to what you can create in Monday.com, and I'm sure there are many other features and uses that my team hasn't even found out yet.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd recommend thinking about where all of your documents and processes live now, and consider moving them to Monday.com in conjunction with using it for project management. You can have multiple workspaces, which has changed the game for how my team organizes all of our information.
Efficient and organized - Monday saves me time and lays out my work in a helpful, visual way.

Automations - the ability to seamlessly trigger functions without additional manual work is such a time saver.

Sharing work across multiple boards is difficult once they've been customized.

A clear way to shape our work around schedules and tasks at the same time. We love how Monday appeals to multiple learning styles.
Concise and accessible
What do you like best about the product?
Access to information and speed in which it is available. Everything has a place and can be found.
What do you dislike about the product?
Server response slow or unresponsive at times. Mostly observed when uploading files.

Miscommunication. Very easy to share information and info recibe clarity when questions between team arise.

Spend time reviewing help videos and experiment with best way to make platform work for your goals.
Intuitive and Invaluable
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is highly customizable, intuitive, and easy to update and edit as you continue to streamline your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much; however, the dashboard, when used for reporting or tracking, can sometimes need its parameters refreshed now and again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a project and workflow tracker shared with our other departments as a means of transparency. We discovered the benefit of this was fewer interruptions in our day-to-day routine as fewer questions were interrupting our workflow.
