The perfect fit for our needs
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is endlessly customizable, giving users the flexibility to establish exactly what they need. We'd been shopping around for the right tool for us and everything was looked at came up short. My husband has been using Monday.com for his event business and he suggested we give it a try (I work in fundraising in the nonprofit industry). My team and I are thrilled to have been able to establish exactly the fields and options we need to seamlessly manage projects and tasks. The automations and integrations are huge time-savers, making notifications and data entry a breeze. The ability to create "subitems" under a main project is an amazing feature that allows us to stay on top of all the details and the bigger picture of our work all at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, Monday.com is fabulous. I would like to see the automation and integrations options expand to include more platforms, like Microsoft To Do. Improving the upload feature to include customizable fields would also be super helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In fundraising, we are often managing multi-phase projects with lots of moving parts. Monday.com makes assigning and managing those tasks a breeze - something we have found lacking on lots of other platforms. We are also saving LOADS of time with automations and integrations that make data management and communications much more efficient.

This platform has helped my team tremendously! It offers so many ways to be efficient and organized.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the automation that we're able to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there was a way to have more than one type of group on one board. Right now, everything has to be the same on a given board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Monday, we've been able to keep track of the video productions that we produce and the documents that come with it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to study the platform, learning what it is capable of. Then put it to work to do what you need it to.
Great platform for visibility and management of workload.
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is being able to have complete visibility of my workload. I can see when my work is required and the deadline for it. It helps me manage my work much more effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were an option for documents to be edited within monday.com. Once a document is uploaded, it needs to be overwritten for an update. It would be beneficial to have an option to track changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com helps my colleagues and me to track our workload update each other on anything that needs to be looked over. It is a great tool to help us share/follow/monitor workload.
Monday helps us to orient ourselves in our day-to-day.
What do you like best about the product?
Monday has many features to support users in their day-to-day. The upside of working with Monday is the flexibility to create whatever you can imagine related to project planning and organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't know if We've had any training in the past on all of Monday's features, but it would be really nive to have training with some frequency, especially because Monday is constantly being updated.

Monday is helping us run our projects faster and more effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how user friendly monday is, I can easily duplicate, copy, or move tasks to another group/week and delete things that are uncessary. When I can easily keep track of my tasks, I can concentrate of being more efficient!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! So far I have been really happy with monday, no need to fix what isn't broken ;)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not looking through emails, texts, calendars to keep up with all of my day to day work details. I copy everything into monday so I can easily follow up or check it off later.
I use Monday on a daily basis for project management at my company.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the variety of features on the software, allowing me to track progress, keep track of contacts or have a simple to do list. I think it is the best software for project management by far.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it can be a bit overwhelming with the sheer amount of functions. I've been using it for over a year and only getting to grips with all the tools now. Suggested templates would be useful!

I'm using some of the templates to manage stakeholder engagement. I also use it to map out project stages to show to clients - breaking down costs for different parts of a project.
The only reason my team knows where we are!

The limitations of the formula column, i.e., Automations not picking up on formula results or Formulas not picking up on Tags
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team can identify the difficulty of projects and change our schedule weeks before if needed. We are currently two weeks ahead. We have never been ahead.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We use Monday for many processes, but our schedule is the most helpful. We were using excel before, and when our schedule changed, 30-40 minutes wasted updating. Now 2-3 minutes in Monday and done!

What do you like best about the product?
Extremely customizable. Most software solutions do not fit small companies (6-10 employees), and this adapted beautifully for our needs. We can choose what "boards" are visible to clients, which is important for direct collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the name "monday" is unfortunate. Became confusing in conversations when the word Monday was used...were we referring to a day when a project was due, or entries on the software. So all our team calls it "Mondo" for clarity. An easy fix. The solutions it offers are stellar and their customer support is very good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to manage: customer information; project details, scope, and progress; deadlines; internal communications; review of design work; and pretty much everything. FYI, we are a marketing communications company with business-to-business and municipal clientele.

What do you like best about the product?
Great platform, lots of useful features and allows me to work with multiple teams in one place. Especially like the ability to invite clients to a shared board.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few automations that could be better, or different ones available. There are times it takes a few seconds to update.
