Keeps micro management away
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is super user-friendly. The ability to customise what you like and the importance etc. is great. Really simple to start and you can get really detailed and specific. As a manager, you can see where everyone is up to without having to pester for updates. Great for in-office and for team members that are working from home.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the whole, I don't dislike anything, but if I was picking I would say the project templates don't work for me so sometimes takes longer for me to set up my own projects. The only other thing is that sometimes it can take a while to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com saves my desk from looking messy with post-it notes and lists on the desk. I can also use it on the move when I am on location I can update the tasks etc. So it is not just for admin work at my desk.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it however you want to. You don't need to stick to the templates.

What do you like best about the product?
Versatility, UI is very intuitive, Permission setup for in & outside of the organization, I can invite customers as guests to review and update project boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboard creation is limiting as to which information and how its presented.
Copying a group into a different or new board is limited and requires precisely the same fields with no easy way to overcome error notifications.

Collaborative information center. Cross-business data sharing, using the boards to cooperate with external colleages, customers, and freelancers.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to organize my workflows and effectively collaborate with my colleagues and across a whole host of different teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a way to filter some of the groups individually instead of the filters reorganizing every single group in a particular board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the issue of effective collaboration in a virtual world. Benefits have been better workflows and communication with colleagues.

The ease and ability to collaborate internally and externally with clear data sets. I used Monday.com to manage work, share timelines and approve content.

I would say at first glance, it can look overwhelming.

The ability to track projects without cross-referencing additional external communication groups, presentations or sheets.

What do you like best about the product?
The Gantt view is a great tool to track where you're at and what the next steps are for each element and group of elements within a project.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'd find it helpful to have a 'notes' tool attached to each item. The updates are a good alternative but not always appropriate.
Limited options to filter/view 'My Work', must get tricky when you start working on multiple projects.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have a project plan with all the upcoming deadlines and main project elements/task on Excel. Monday is a much better option:
- track, get reminders, see upcoming deadlines
- assign tasks to team members
- each member can have more/less detailed items' lists within the elements of the project they work on
- communication/collaboration is easier, can leave updates/comments or tag someone

It's important to look at tutorials and see what tools are available before building your main board. Take some time to build your board to ensure the best results and ease of use.

Automations help a lot in communicating with the client, in our work business, we have to send several emails for different situations that were able to be applied to the tool
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users managed to register in the tool without authorization from an Admin, generating unexpected cost. The lack of Brazilian standards is also an issue, such as currency, date format, difference in semicolons in the use of values...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer contact control. Because before it was done manually in spreadsheets and with monday we are able to manage how long it will take to get in touch again in a practical, visual and automatic way.

It is a tool that will save you a lot of time and work.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the easy interface with folders and boards. The pre-made templates cover a variety of tasks and keep everything in an easy-to-see format.

I don't have much at all to complain about

I use on-site, remote, and contract employees. Having one place to organize tasks, see progress, and provide feedback is fantastic.
Monday - my new favorite day!
What do you like best about the product?
Monday makes project management simple. A great tool to create and track tasks for projects for my entire team to collaborate and problem solve. Offers a lot of options and easy to follow tutorials for those of us that are a little less savvy. For those that dig in deeper the ability to create forms and surveys that automatically populate boards and for easy access to the data has been amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found a downside to using Monday.Com. So far, everything I have needed to do is there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday makes collaboration between departments seamless. One of the greatest benefits is accountability for myself and my team.
The customization!!
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Monday.com is how you can customize your boards for every scenario or project for work. The feature you can use come with helpful guides to help support the creation of your new borad.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike; however, some of the features you can build into your board can take a minute to understand, so you get full use of the function, but that comes with practice, and once you know it's as easy as 1 2 3.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that Monday helps me solve is time; I have to deal with a lot of parts within the business, and Monday.com allows me to update all members of the company with one click. I love this function, and it will enable me to focus on what matters.
Monday.com is absolutely the best platform for business.

Ease of use, multiple features, cost, metrics settings, versitility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some column creations are not as intuitive as I'd like. The messaging is not that robust and we use Slack in conjuction with Monday (Monday has a Slack interface).

Monday.com solves our problem of monitoring and tracking content, monitoring and tracking worker performance, archiving and finding material as needed, and more.
