great tool for remote offices
What do you like best about the product?
really helpful with staying organized and making sure that everyone on the staff is on the same page. working remotely can cause communication issues, this helps minimize one aspect of that.
What do you dislike about the product?
i find myself looking for boards that don't exist. you can taylor boards fairly easily, but sometimes it seems like they are missing some simple options that would make things easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we use it for everything from a virtual HR office (documents, PTO calendars) to planning boards for fundraisers, to fact boards for FAQs and frequently needed stats.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it just depends how you like to organize yourself and what business flow you prefer.

I love the aesthetic and how easy it is to navigate

Sometimes it's hard to visualize dependencies or know when something is complete depending on how your team is structured.

Helps us keep track of tasks and assign them across teams. It keeps people accountable and helps us visualize worj load.

I feel like Monday has a lot of awesome features for how you can manage a project, delegate etc. I feel like many of these features are flexible for a variety of work environments
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of moving parts and a pretty big learning curve when you're coming in cold. I feel like it's still a great tool, it's just not a terribly intuitive one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday is solving the question of who on throughout the organization is supposed to be in charge of getting each task done, and who is in charge of helping with those tasks.

I think that if you have a unified strategy for use, this can be a great tool
Great product, versatile and user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Great for keeping track of project status, including only the necessary people on each steep, it is very versatile as it allows you add sub-items, upload files, comment and have specific notes directed to an individual, group and even external parties by linking an specific email to the updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automations are time consuming, you can add them and be as specific as you want and if anything changes the automation feature will do as indicated; however, there can be time-consuming if you have multiple boards that need to be set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as a workflow, PM system. It does allow us to involve the required people per board so that only that group gets notified and can act upon it. it has reduced the clutter on our emails as it keeps it on the thread of that specific project. We are able to invite customer so that they can follow up on their project and allows a flow of communication in a single place.

Our team loves using Monday, which means that project tracking is happening in real-time!
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish that you could write formulas for a single cell and not just a whole column.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project tracking and sales cycle tracking, we actually are doing these things in real-time now and I have visibility over easy to read dashboard to keep me up to date with a quick glance.

What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Monday.com operating system is its flexibility and easy customization of any workflow to match my business needs. Also, I like Monday.com because it has a very user-friendly interface, easy to navigate and find what I am looking for. I also appreciate that it is easy to communicate with my team for maximum business productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike its timeline column because it's challenging to use. The system should have a place to store, filter, and access all documents like Google Drive. The system should also include more robust integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps my team to plan and implement project management effectively. Also, I can allocate work to resources and share my files easily with my team. At least with Monday .com, I can coordinate with my project team in one online location, which is a very challenging task when using standard excel spreadsheets.

Being able to chat, attach files and keep items in different groups really structure our experience in Marketing

Sometimes the platform doesn't work in key moments, stopping our progress significantly.

It helps me and my team to see an overall view of our teams tasks and responsabilities, algo we use it to centralize documments and historical information in the activity module.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to keep track of all of my tasks; I can sort them by due date; and I can categorize them as I start working on them, when I get stuck, and when they are done. It is so cool to look at the Done list to see all I have accomplished.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the sorting function sorts fields in the New, Working on It, and Done sections. I wish it would sort each section individually.,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is no way I would be able to keep up with new tasks without it. It gives me a place to 'park' requests before setting a due date, so I don't lose the thread.

More sorting/filtering options than just one layer
Excellent project management tool. Easy to learn and very customisable.

Bringing large, cross-functional teams together in a seamless way. It's super easy to keep everything you need for each project in one place and give access to as many or as few people as you like.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. I'd love to see a project timeline function built in/ more easily accessible but everything so far works as it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing together large cross-functional teams, making communication and project tracking much easier. Great for file sharing in an organised way and integrating other apps to make it even more seamless.

Definitely worth trying it out. It's sp versatile I could see it being useful to just about any organisation that requires organisation and/ or project management.

It seems to me a very comprehensive app with a learning curve that is not very complicated and it can be used for various purposes. It has helped me in organizing content for the social media of the company I work for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I consider that the price is somewhat high and that there should be a more economical plan considering that each user pays on their own, but by bundling everything and offering a discount, it could help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped me organize content for social media; using the Canva mode and calendar is very useful for the type of work I do, in addition to being able to connect directly with the project participants.
