Monday has changed out entire operations for good

What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use. There are a lot of tutorial to get the best out of application. Also when you are still learning to use it there are a lot of templates you can use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not actually bad but they update a lot so sometimes it's hard to keep up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miscommunication, organizing tasks in a specific project. Our company has a very specific process so Monday is perfect because you can customize what you need. We are faster now.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Got to the tutorials. Sometimes we think an app is difficult to use but Monday has perfect instructions

Good Project Management System | Reporting Could Use Work

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and communicate with coworkers. The overall platform is aesthetically pleasing. It is easy to onboard employees and add and remove those when they turnover. Overall we use this product daily and it helps us with ease of project managment!
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of custom reporting and integration with google sheets can be frustrating. We wish we could integrate more seamlessly into google sheets and excel. Senior leadership would like that. We wish things were more seamless with using with other products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Monday.com to keep a remote team connected and keep all our work organized in a particular location. It is nice to have a central location to check project status. Overall super helpful for remote teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Monday.com is easy to use and get a team using. It takes very little learning curve and is intuitive. Overall we enjoy the platform, and it creates a single space for all project management.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is intuitive, thoughtful, easy to use, and constantly adding great new features. I love the ability to export a board with ease for reporting, find organizing by color extremely helpful and the ability to build custom automations amazing! The vast array of possible integrations is increadible, and the ones we use connected seamlessly thanks to the great and informative online support center.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love for Monday.com's CommuniHub to work better for our purposes. I understand why it works as it does, but for our non-customer-based interactions, it's not (yet!) a good fit. I'd also love to have more features in the Integration with Outlook, such as ccing and bccing people, using basic formatting and adding a signature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We successfully manage a consistently high volume of people moving through a funnel of recruiting, onboarding, training, compliance, performance management, engagement/surveying, and separation - this is for three different pools of people enabling ten various departments. Monday.com allows for each stream to flow independently yet parallel and provides each department the unique functions they need, all of which can be shared, protected, and reported upon as required. Outside of this, we use Monday for managing projects large and small and use the Dashboards to share highlights with senior leadership.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is a great project management tool in general. And I'm sure there are plenty out there, but this one gives you so much flexibility to create as many different dashboards and schedules as you need. And within each one, you can customize to your liking with many different colors and markers. I use Monday for scheduling out social media projects such as videos. And I love that I can create custom buttons next to each item and assign a "status" (I can make my own statuses). For example, an item that is in the brainstorming stage could be designated as such, whereas another item for which we have completed filming could be designated as "Needs Video Edit". This makes it super easy to prioritize projects and see where they are at a glance. Additionally, there is space to link out to associated documents, so an item on the schedule could link out to the script for that video that needs to be filmed, for example. Also, you are able to add teammates to your account so you can all work off the same dashboard and content schedules.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, I was a little lost using Monday because I hadn't used such a versatile tool before (I was used to just keeping track of stuff in my notebook, to be honest). I was losing track of all the comments by my teammates, and didn't know there were conversations going on on different items in the schedule. However, I soon learned that on the sidebar menu, you can look at notifications and see all the mentions and unread messages, so you don't lose track.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now able to delegate work better without having to ping our teammates to find out what needs to be done next. By creating a content schedule on Monday, and adding our teammates to the account, we can all go in and see what needs to be done and "claim" different tasks to be more effective together.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Monday is a sleek and well-organized website to create your own customizable dashboards, calendars, and other project management documents. The look is simple yet sophisticated, and completing tasks on there is really satisfying. If you're new to project management like myself, I recommend Monday.com as an easy-to-use and customizable tool!

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and visually organised. Easy task planning and tracking. Time record. Easy to integrate with other apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Little bit complex for beginners. We get regerious notification and news feed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to manage project tasks. User friendly UI interface. It is flexible and customisable to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommended platform as it notifies the user when task is completed.

What do you like best about the product?
The UI is very easy to navigate, and the ability to break projects out into different boards makes organizing them easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since the interface was updated, it is more difficult to find subitems in a project than it was in the past. The old interface was better in this way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use monday.com for project management, and it completely resolved problems around project management that we had in using email chains instead.

What do you like best about the product?
monday.com is super user-friendly. It's a simple interface, and every person on my team can use it without prior knowledge. It's beneficial to keep track of everything, and I don't know of any competitors, but it's better than just a calendar tracker.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I dislike. I can't think of anything. Sometimes the linking to Slack doesn't work seamlessly, but it usually flows just fine. It's a simple platform, so it doesn't need much improvement. If there were a goal to add more on, it would require more work, but as an activity tracker for my Marketing team, it works perfectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My Marketing team can keep track of our work all in one place. It's helpful to be able to communicate tasks and leave comments to show productivity. It allows us to see what each person is doing.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to coordinate and collaborate with team members that are not always in the same place makes completing projects a breeze. Also the intagations with differnt platforms such as google and slack are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know if there is anything negative I have to say about Monday.com. I know it has so many capabilities that I have yet to discover, so I am sure if I disliked something, it's probably because I haven't figured it out yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to keep everyone up to date on projects, and we are all able to see what the other is working on or the status of a project to ensure work and efforts are not being duplicated.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday has changed the way we manage our global partnerships within Spotify. Features we love are automation, dashboards, subitems & chat features

Unable to bring in items from other boards into one board, you can only mirror columns and not rows

We are able to have search/filter/view functionality for our partnerships and reduce the number of document versions we use internally.

How did we function without monday.com?

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has given our non-tech-savvy team a way not just to document our workplans but also collaborate and capture insights as we go. This has revolutionized how we track and manage everything from monthly tasks to annual events. It's simple to learn and use but complex enough to handle all the details.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I've found frustrating so far is the way it forces you to use their print functionality. When it's not enabled, such as for the "My Work" section, you have no option but to print from a screenshot, which seems unnecessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For program-specific contact management, it's so much easier to manipulate than Salesforce, so we use it as our "sandbox" as we figure out what we want to manage, then we have a template we can send to the Salesforce developers to build, saving us a ton of time and resources.

I like the comment feature - it gives me a place to capture ideas that are related to tasks but don't need a line item of their own. And the fact that I can tag team members and have documented conversations in there3 is a nice bonus!
