Excellent tool for Operations Management!
What do you like best about the product?
The custom status and tasks have allowed us to have a more streamlined workflow. As we work from remote locations, we're able to tag and communicate with each other as our orders move from prospects to production. The color-coded labels help us efficiently determine where our focus needs to be.
What do you dislike about the product?
When trying to change the title of an item, it often opens a new pop-up. We have to be precise with our mouse placement or we'll click on the incorrect buttons. Other than that, we've been very impressed with Monday.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a better way to track all of our orders as they moved from prospect to pre-production to production and then to delivered. As a team, we are updating Monday as each order moves along in the process. We work remotely, so it has helped us be on the same page without having to call or email. It has helped us to keep track of all orders and invoice our clients promptly as well.
Monday is easy, intuitive project management software
What do you like best about the product?
The system is easy to understand and allows you to break down projects into sections, and then sections into tasks. You can go as far as you like in detailing and assigning tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a feature that allows you to sort sections by alpha or numeric order; right now, unless I don't understand how to do it, I have to move sections by hand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great way to keep track of all the tasks associated with very large, complicated projects. These tasks are also saved for posterity if one of our people leaves. That will make it much easier for new people to see what has to be done & to understand the project flow more quickly.
Not Just Another Task Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
I love how we can easily collaborate as a team on projects that require many hands.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more options with integrations and automation. Sometimes it's tricky. You have to trial and error your way through how to set up a board if you're new. Ex: I can't create the automations I'd like for the timeline, so I go to timeline settings and then have to go back to the automations...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Prioritizing issues that come in from teams on the front lines so higher priority issues are addressed in a timely manner
2. Creating "hubs" for specific team functions using "Workspaces"
3. Organizing systems and SOPs in a repeatable format that can be reused for future events
4. Collaborating on projects with 3rd party vendors with ease, no matter the timezone

Great for Teamwork!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable the boards are. It helps our team be able to create boards for product development, task management, marketing calendar, influencer program, and so much more. It really helps keep our team on track and focused.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are just too many customizations and there's a lot to learn. I was very overwhelmed when I first started using Monday, especially when my peers have been using Monday on a day to day basis. It was a big task to learn, but once I got through the initial learning process, it became so easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team is small, so a lot of tasks that would normally fall on one department, fall on all of us as a team. For example, we all collaborate on product development. We each will enter our own ideas and other can vote on the idea and then we track where we are in the development process. It really helps streamline overwhelming tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the best about Monday is that I can collab with my co-workers on projects and it eliminates meetings or even confusion that can easily happen when too many hands get envolved.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, it is the little things. I don't like how I can click off the collum and the information disappears. This makes me having to re-enter the information a second time or potentially lose the information and I have to retrieve it agian.

Before our company had this platform we worked with paper. Although I had baskets that were a good system set up I would spend a lot of time shuffling through papers. T

What do you like best about the product?
I like that its easy to look at and find where something is in the process and whos responsible for it next. I love the different page power ups. It makes the boards customizable per department without having to change the over table organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more examples to look through. I don't know what I don't know so to speak.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com is solving our visibility problem. We had issues trying to stay organized in a way that everyone in our company could look at with a glace.
Makes communication between myself and clients so easy
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy and intuituve it was to get started on the platform. I enjoy the color coded boards as well and all the add ons you can integrate. The fact that messages are also sent via email ensures you don't miss a thing!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a calendar view that didn't require due dates but you can still see all the ongoing projects. I don't like how every group needs to have the same exact columns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlined communication between myself and clients so everyone is aware of where we are in each and every project we have going on. It makes clients feel reassured in the work we are doing!
Monday.com creates the opportunity to expedite, simplify and automate everyday tasks and processes.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Monday.com is the variety of different purposes it serves. On top of the boards, I also make use of the forms for internal project briefs, the "My Work" tab to separately track my responsibilities (or even the tasks of other individuals or teams), automations that organize your board items or notify team members based on preset conditional actions, integrations with 3rd party applications (such as Slack or others), and more!
The competitors that I've used previously are more comparable to glorified spreadsheets, as they are much more limited to just the board functionalities. I've also yet to see one with a cleaner UI than Monday.com.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't go as far as saying there are "downsides" to using Monday.com compared to competitors, but the main area where I see room for improvement is more customization of automations. There are admittedly a ton of options for the presets when making a custom automation, but I have come across things I'd like to automate that I can't (or at least don't feel it's clear on how to if already possible).

Monday.com alleviates bandwidth for anyone using it. When set up properly, it can automatically organize your tasks/data for you, thus eliminating some (if not all) of the tedious day-to-day upkeep many of us are accustomed to in order to stay organized. This allows us to keep our focus on the tasks themselves and achieve a higher level of productivity as individuals and as a team.

I love the templates and learning resources available to me. The interface makes it easy to select the right template and make changes easily. The Start From Scratch boards are also easy to use when I need to customize a board. I work across many departments in my company and I have separate workspaces and boards for each team I interface with.

The only think I dislike is that there are only 2 tiers of tasks/subtasks. It would be helpful to have additional checklist functionality within a subtask to help manage the more intricate components of a work package.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday is my central resource for managing different projects and their phases across multiple departments. I work cross-functionally within the organization and Monday gives me a central location for management and for visibility. Stakeholders are kept informed with good dashboards, and we are exploring integration with some of our other business tools to increase visibility.
I love Monday.com!!!

I love that my coworkers can see in real-time the projects that are being worked on and their progress of them at any time of day!

There is nothing that I dislike about monday.com
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows the entire staff to stay on track with who is doing what, the progress of each project, and the availability to tag people in the comments is great! I also love that we get email notifications for any new items we need to look at.
