Great experience with Monday

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to manage tasks within a small team. We use Monday to manage our social media posts and find it very useful to upload our posts and then allow other members of our team to comment on them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that I do not get notified when someone adds something to Monday unless they tag me. I also wish Monday was a true social media scheduler similar to Later in order to schedule posts directly to our company's social media platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday has allowed us to manage tasks where there are multiple sub-tasks assigned to multiple different people. It makes it easier to see what each person has already completed and what still needs to be done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend using Monday.com for all of your task management needs.

What do you like best about the product?
That you have unlimited options. The boards work amazingly, the categories worked exactly for what I needed them. It's easy to set up and it's easy to organize all your tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like that sometimes it sends an email to everyone in the company and some people do not have anything to do with the notification. I feel like there is a lot of spam with all the emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication. With Monday it's easy to tag and inform someone about something. No need to directly contact everyone, or to send an email. It's simple and easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
To see the tutorials that you get at the beginning. or Youtube tutorials. It's easy to understand how it works than trying to find everything yourself. Tough it is easy to use.

Using Monday as a Startup with a Remote Team

What do you like best about the product?
As a small company that is both fully remote and uses lots of outside vendors and contractors, having all of our work centralized and visible is vital. Most platforms I've used in the past are clearly designed for giant internal teams or are so oriented around task management that they don't really facilitate any collaboration. Monday balances these both in a really unique way and let's me view exactly what I need to easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real complaints from me - this was the fastest task management/collaboration tool to learn that I've ever used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing multiple workflows that involve both internal teams and outside parties,
Centralizing deliverables and assets from vendors that then get used by other vendors,
We are creating timelines and roadmaps of product launches with easily viewable data and files along the way.
Monday helps us work faster, communicate more clearly, and get more done as a lean team.

Just try it!

What do you like best about the product?
Really user-friendly and customizable, end-to-end task creation, status tracking, work log for time spent on each task, reports can be exported in various formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no significant issues that I dislike; however, it would be great if the subscription cost was a bit lower so that smaller companies could afford and use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly project management and KPI's it is very helpful for allocating tasks to the corresponding stakeholders and being up to date with all activities that need to be done.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the organization of monday.com; everything can be simply displayed, and you can keep track of what your other team members are working on. As a perfectionist, I thoroughly enjoy the clean layout and use of colors.
What do you dislike about the product?
We run through monday.com as a team, and given the number of dashboards we have, it's a very tedious process. This is not a complaint necessarily about monday.com, but about reviewing many projects at the same time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving department organization issues with our use of monday.com. We have insight into what the team is working on, and are held accountable on our projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend that at the very least, everyone try monday.com. From a project management perspective, it has been very beneficial to our team

Great for managing all the tasks

What do you like best about the product?
Monday gives you a good interface that provides you with a clear overview of all tasks of the week. We have been using it for almost 4 years and we can't go without it. Over time Monday has improved a lot with extra features such as time indication columns etc. It's good to see that they still want to improve their system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The comment section of a task can sometimes bug a bit. The interface stucks in loading for some reason. After a couple refreshes it eventually loads the comment section of a task, but I hope this will be fixed soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Monday, employee management has become a lot easier. In one clear interface, I can see who is busy with which task and what tasks still need to be done. Great for teams with up to 10 people. Bigger teams can maybe get a bit unorganized.

Try, and you will find out it really helps you with managing your employees

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is a platform that can really be anything that you want it to be. If you want notifications and to have all of your tasks and project represented by llamas then you can certainly do so. If you're looking for a simple way to stay on top of what everyone is doing as they work remotely then it works perfectly to keep transparency at the forefront. I've used lots of tools similar to Monday in my career and it stands head and shoulders above them all.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the only downside of Monday is that it has so many features that I am certain that I am not getting the most out of it. I don't believe this is feature bloat so much as they are accomodating a wide array of use cases and you can mix and match what works for you rather than forcing you down a one size fits all path. They do have a good LMS but it is hard to dedicate time to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we moved remote, it was imperative that we be able to see as a team what everyone was working on and especially for newer and more junior members of the team to be able to have a way to assign them tasks and order the priority of each. It is also wonderful for keeping interagency work streamlined.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If nothing else do a free trial. It really does seem to have everything you could ever need and a strong future roadmap.

Best Way to Keep Your Team Organized

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can create different boards depending on the various departments within your organization. I also love that you can tag the people you are trying to alert.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever I am mentioned on a board, I keep getting alerts for everything. I also wish it was easier to access archived boards to send old projects to clients easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can keep track of every item from each department for projects. It also helps to keep deadlines. The benefits are that we are more efficient and timely with our in-house projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Create detailed boards so that they are specific to your company's needs. It will help you not have things lost in the shuffle.

The BEST task management system!

What do you like best about the product?
As small boutique company we've tried more than 5 different platforms for task management and Monday.com is the best one so far. We've been using monday for a few years now I think and I don't see us switching to another platform. Extremely easy to manage sub-contractors and even client projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that can be quite intimidating (not a bad thing, necessarily) is the amount of intergrations and automations. It can be tricky to set up at first and less experienced users can have a hard time with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com helps us manage day-to-day tasks within the company, as well as client projects. We also use it as a content planner, project collabration, client pitching, etc. We even create complex matrix boards for market research that we do.
