Too Convoluted for Our Marketing Needs
What do you like best about the product?
Monday is versatile, scalable, and adaptable. There are diverse views, many features, and integrations. I imagine this project management tool would be great for a large organization or corporation with many departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a marketing agency, we use project dependencies often to track progress and automatically assign tasks to new people. With Monday, a dependent task doesn't start until the first is complete, which isn't functional for our workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Monday to communicate and organize projects for our clients in a different state. It helps keep us organized and updated with what everyone is doing on the account.

Monday helps keep your team organized!
What do you like best about the product?
Monday helps to keep our production team organized. We are to see what has been completed, by who, and what is left to be completed. We can share in multiple books and accounts to help one another speed up the process, but also, the dummy layout has a refreshing look too. We also integrated monday with slack so we can real-time updates of what is happening.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations to using Monday. Adjusting to the user interface can be a little challenging. We had to have some training to adjust accordingly to the new setup. However, after working through the kinks, we now have a system that flows. Sometimes changes/updates can be slow to catch up, but it's not too bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing workflow with our entire team and staff, using a concise and straightforward method to get the books done, virtual organization, and a great layout that isn't cluttered for our publication. We realize that this interface helps with productivity, and we are not wasting time as we have before. Also, it helps to ease confusion because we can see what is done and what needs to be done. There are more features we plan to utilize in the future that will help the whole team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely have support set up a training on the interface and how to best optimize your time on the app for what your company needs. This will significantly benefit you and your team to get the best out of this product.
Collaboration made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Monday has been one of the most beneficial tools that we use to communicate across our organization. It allows us to collaborate, plan, and execute our daily, weekly, and yearly tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Monday is very sleek in design, the learning of the platform takes some time. We have been using it for a little over 6 months and are still learning how to best incorporate it's features into what we do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With employees all over the country, Monday gives us the online platform to collaborate and plan events, publications, and tasks. The real-time editing and organization enables us to be efficient and keep our communication clean.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Monday's features are more effecient than some of the other competitors that we have tried in the past. The organizational aspects, file sharing, and connection between employees makes it substantially beneficial to our success.
Project Management Dream!
What do you like best about the product?
With the amount of projects we have going at one time, this allows for easy tracking!
What do you dislike about the product?
in designing a board, the syntax for formulas is not intuitive and some of the math that is required for us, is difficult to parse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
with a team of 50+ people working on numerous projects, there is overlap in who is working on what. Monday allows for compartmentalized communication
Awesome PM Tool For Software Development
What do you like best about the product?
Monday is a strong item, it's not my cherished venture the board device, but rather it has some truly cool highlights that differentiate it from different gatherings. The robotized can't outline, and timetables are marvelous. The powerful status highlights are incredible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main detail with which I had a few hardships is the use of the work area that doesn't permit me to share a few lines on specific events, and it would be extraordinary to get a report in the event that somebody reacts in a discussion about the venture where it is working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The organization I work for changed to Monday.com to manage every one of our tasks. It is an extremely powerful application to monitor progress and time in every task.
Monday.com is great for managing a team by delegating tasks and seeing impacts to timelines!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the accounts link directly to team members' emails, so it is easy to manage a cross-functional team. I use the task boards and the Gantt chart functionality. Cost-effective compared to its competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the Gantt chart functionality were more customizable (ie moving tasks around, regrouping items, taking snapshots) more intuitively. It would be nice to have different organization structures for the columns in one board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped our organization communicate tasks/timelines more efficiently and understand where we need additional help. This has improved our business performance.

If you have a cross-functional team, this is the solution for managing them!
Great Organization and Collaboration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The My Work area keeps all my tasks right in front of me, so I know what's important to work on each day. The tasks may directly correlate with work my team or workspaces I'm included in, and keeping on top of those tasks keeps my team in the loop about where I am on any specific project at any given time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the news feed seems too long or cluttered. In our environment, we don't necessarily need to know that it's someone's birthday or that someone joined a team, so these notifications can be a waste of time for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of all of the projects that we have going on, especially during busy season! We might have projects that include writing articles, graphic design, ordering swag, scheduling spaces, writing code, and all kinds of different types of tasks that include a variety of people, and we've been able to stay efficient and on top of every task in a timely fashion using monday.com.
I'm addicted!
What do you like best about the product?
As a busy team that often works cross-functionally, we struggled to manage all ongoing projects and stakeholders. We had access to another project management tool, but the team struggled with using it as it wasn't intuitive and often felt like more work than it was worth. We decided to trial Monday.com Across two teams, and everyone immediately started importing projects of all shapes and sizes. It's only been a few months now but it has already made a huge difference. In meetings, we now open up monday.com as we walk each other and stakeholders through what we need to get done. When someone's off sick or out on PTO, we can easily see what they were working on and what we can pick up in their absence. It feels so peaceful to know that everything we're working on is perfectly managed. Thanks to Monday.com we have no more monday scaries because I know we're on top of everything.

It would be great if creating templated with dependencies becomes easier.

Project and stakeholder management.
It's simple yet robust
What do you like best about the product?
I've used several different project management solutions in the past, but Monday is by far the best. Tracking tasks is no longer a tedious, frustrating experience. I love Monday's easy-to-use interface. There are even extra features for those who want to go more in-depth with project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday did take some time to get used to, but that's to be expected of most project management solutions. Also, I wish the "Workload" feature was a little more straightforward instead of having to add hours to the main task as well as subtasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday has helped us organize tasks, small and large, among teams as well as across the organization. It has simplified communication within the company and makes us more efficient.
Great Software for Marketing
What do you like best about the product?
Monday is so easy to use and you can customize the boards to do whatever you want. It's great for a business with a large marketing team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could make custom automations. Sometimes what I want to do isn't able to be done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday is the easiest way to stay organized. I can set automations to alert people when I update certain things. It's easy to for everyone to stay updated without even having to talk to each other.
