Excellent for small businesses!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how customisable it is. I am able to track my orders and set up really unique automations to make my processes smooth. I also really appreciate the integrations with third party platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find it a little confusing if I'm trying to create certain structures and automations. I also wish there were more design options for how things look, especially on the dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping everything organized, knowing where each of my orders is at any given time. It's really helpful to see the overall picture of what's going on in my business.

Monday got us organized!

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is a great tool to get everyone in our organization on the same page. It helps us map out our deliverables with timelines and dependencies. Although we are small, we have issues with communication sometimes and Monday helps eliminate the majority of these issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few enhancements I would like to see, but they are very minor. I think there is room for improvement with the documents but I know things are progressing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Monday helps us track feedback and comments in one location. Before, it was difficult to find critical information because they were either in Slack or email. We also are able to build great timelines to share with clients as well as resource planning.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's very helpful and easy to use!

What do you like best about the product?
I find Monday super helpful when it comes to organizing my daily, weekly, and quarterly tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it could be a little more simple in terms of video examples. There are so many automations and it can get confusing. I would recommend creating a "bubble" that appears when you hover over a new setting/automation and ask if you need an example to learn how to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday keeps me focused on my high-priority tasks and when I have any urgent tasks that are being asked of me, I can simply use the app on the go and add it. I enjoy being able to ping other team members when there is a question or if you are simply notifying them that you completed a task.

Very User-Friendly Team Project Management

What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can set and assign tasks, create your own buttons so that your team can update their task and you will stay on track, along with creating your own columns that correspond to your work! The new updates that have been implemented such as integrating with Gmail definitely helps to keep track of projects. I like that you can create specific labels as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not sure if it is offered, but I would love to have an Instant Messaging feature, so instead of posting an update, I can instant message the team to see where they are at and how far they need to go out. I like that they offer templates to use, however, you will have to spend the time to learn what is what.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping the team on one accord and making sure everything is being done properly and on time. The benefits are just keeping in touch and knowing what the team is doing and what their status is on a task.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Once you get acclimated to the system, you will have to make it your own and they provide ease of completing that.

Powerful tool, but requires some time investment to maintain

What do you like best about the product?
Incredible flexibility so you can build out a board for anything. There is a wide variety of column formats to use. Automations are a great way to remind, trigger, and establish recurring tasks, etc. I might go so far as to say, if you can think it, you can do it. For basic end-users, I'd say it's pretty user-friendly. Because of it's flexibility, it can fit a wide variety of industries. It has a nice, clean interface. I have it open all day long. and hot key between boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on the size of your team and what you do, it requires a significant time investment to maintain. I am the main "champion" for my group of 30, and our projects are small and move quickly. Because it is such a flexible and powerful tool and is updated all the time, I feel like I'm constantly trying. The downside is it requires pretty solid knowledge and understanding of features, staying up to date, and the work doesn't end after you roll it out. I feel like I'm constantly monitoring things, changing things that don't work, and finding little holes where I could maybe fix it, but I don't have the time to dig in to research how to set it up. Or we set up some boards, and they're moving, and it's too hard to pause, restart, revamp, so we hobble along making it work. We don't use communication within Monday that much and communicate more in Teams to manage the projects within Monday. The inbox and notifications section are not valuable for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project and task management for 30 people with a lot of moving parts. The flexibility has been the key variable that works better than other project management tools because most seem programmed for more traditional projects, whereas our projects are more variable. We needed to set up recurring monthly projects that start before the previous one has ended.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I might consider planning better initially, but sometimes you don't know what you'll use or how you'll use it until you try it. Our use has had many iterations. I might plan to work with a consultant and schedule a few check-in points after rollout to make sure things are working as desired and help you make the tweaks needed to keep it operating effectively. Designate an internal champion who can invest the time to stay up to date and maintain it. And make sure the people who are using it with free-range are also knowledgeable enough about the product, or else you'll have to tidy up the sprawl.

We use Monday.com to keep track of projects, leads, and progress in said projects

What do you like best about the product?
what I like best is seeing the progress in multiple areas. I can see where leads are, and Monday keeps track of them. I can see how much progress a project has made.

The only competitor I could compare it to would be google sheets. That requires a ton of setting up. Monday.com already has everything set up for you. It is crazy user-friendly and easy to learn immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little expensive for what we use it for. Sure we could probably do a glorified google sheet, but Monday's interface is nice and simple and does a lot already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem it solves with my company is that it gives a central place for my small team to check and get updates without having to email, communicate, or slack anybody. It is crazy good for a remote team to check progress in a project and get their to-do list straight from the source.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to really use the trial period for all it's worth. Set aside some time to run the software through its paces. It's very powerful and because it is, you should understand the price it comes with.

Great for Project Management

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility when adding new projects or jobs. The different columns help us to allocate the job between different team members. The colour palette and groups within boards helps with organisation too.
What do you dislike about the product?
When updates happen which aren't communicated to us, meaning some of our information disappears. This information was recovered, but it is still inconvenient. We would prefer to receive emails regarding updates. A time tracking app would be very useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to improve communication within the team. Ensuring jobs are managed all the way from start to finish and then invoiced before being marked off as complete.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have lots of projects ongoing, monday is great! It can appear overwhelming, but once you have familiarised yourself with monday it is easy and beneficial.

What do you like best about the product?
We can set up our target timeline with regular alerts help us in achieving it. Provision of task groups and sub groups helps in maintaining records efficienty. Also provision of assigning timelines to each sub task makes it more useful. With timelines assigned to each task, it is possible to review the efficiency of employees and their ability to deliver in time. Accordingly your futures of assinging tasks in various categories with regular updates is really helpful for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is possible to log in Monday.com from mobile, however, there is possibility to make it more mobile friendly which is demand of the day. Also you can make it possible to review and update the task and timelines offline which is as far as I know not possible. These two changes can make the application more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps in maintaining task with timelines. Previously I use to note my tasks in excel which was not very useful and easy to forget importatnt tasks. Monday.com helps in assigning priority to task with timelines.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend for the organizations currently struggling to manage and review task of its employees. Monday.com could be very useful in assigning tasks with timleines and will would help in increasing the employees efficiency. It would also help in employee appraisal which becomes very difficult without any such parameters. Monday.com is a win-win for employers and employees increasing overall efficiency, transaparency and ultimately profitability.

What do you like best about the product?
The way everyone can work together. How you can assign task to your fellow members and keep a track of it.Also how easily anyone can assign you on the task and quickly you get an email of the same.We literally update all our tasks on monday, and our Manager can have an overview of the progress simultaneously.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you want to Drag a task or rearrange them, it's quite tricky, especially on the app. So basically, some improvement on making real-time changes in the task updation while working on the small screen of the cell phone.How anyone can make changes to your task, like add or delete any sub items. Like there should be a track of that as well, incase if anyone wants to do mischief, we could track them down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping a track of various works and timelines. At times we tend to forget things. And its handy can be updated from anywhere ,unlike a physical diary whcih cannot be carried everywhere.It is a better way to keep a track of all the work that has been done by you throughout the year, so that while evaluating your performance at the time of your appraisal you can claim the same if your manager feels otherwise.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a good way to organize your work and keep track of all your pending works along with monitoring the performance of your sub ordinates.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSE IS TOP NOTCH. Lots of integrations and apps to make your workflow easier and automated. Easy to by one person or throughout your whole team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. It actually does so much that it can be overwhelming at times but the reality is, if you just sit down and go through it, you can get it down and make the system work for you
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team integration and automation. Workflow is more straightforward, and all our stuff is in one place. Even when we go outside of the system, the work gets mapped back into the system, making it easier for everyone. Easy to use
