Excellent collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and very flexible tool. I like the customization options as it makes the tool suitable for teams across our organization. The frequent product updates and enhancements are also great to see. The automations are really helpful - ensuring that boards do not get stale
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are some slight lags when different users are making updates to boards at the same time. However, generally, this is not an issue. The iOS app was previously quite frustrating to use but has improved a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Monday as a collaborative tool across multiple departments in our organization to replace several different tools that we used previously. It has helped improve efficiency - especially as our team members are located across a variety of different countries.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Monday.com is a great tool. I would recommend it

What do you like best about the product?
not sure yet... but since i have to write more, I guess its that everyone should be on the same page. I like that I get email notifications too. the colors are nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
it can be confusing, too many clicks. and I have trouble finding what I am trying to find. its also just a bit too easy to lose sight of subitems, wish it was one click to expand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
work - projects, priorities, timelines, what we have completed, what is next, next steps, communication, accountability. there are a lot of things that Monday can solve.
Monday makes tracking my projects easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Monday gives me one place to track on projects along with my team. It helps to see where we are in the process, as well as assign tasks to people and automate workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike not being able to take over a board if someone else created it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I onboard and train new franchisees. Part of the onboarding process includes collecting a lot of paperwork. By having them simply click a link to a Monday board, the paperwork is automatically uploaded to a central location where documents can be accessed by everyone that needs them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great system to use together with a team to keep everything in one place where it is easy to find, and easy to see what tasks have been completed.
Great for waterfall project management and singular teams
What do you like best about the product?
It's really good at organizing tasks that have sub tasks and making that easy to consume in a straightforward way. It also has the ability to store relevant files and have a conversation with people within the platform easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not good for a kanban setup or for automating sets of steps. If we have a process that we continually do, we have to set it up fresh each time we need to start the process which gets frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Monday as a Digital Asset Management tool due to its file storage system. We also use it as our primary project management tool. While difficult to get my own tasks from across the boards into a single view, it's still pretty useful
Easy and intuitive project management software
What do you like best about the product?
The visuals and the ease at which to do what you want. The interface is intuitive and it only took a couple minutes to understand all the basic features and get going. The customer service is super helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike. There is one functionality that I was concerned for that required an upgrade. However after reaching out to customer service, there was a work around that is easy to utilize
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small business, we have many initiatives in our off season, with many business owners but no where to centrally house these projects. This tool allows us to have a one stop shop so everyone from coordinators to the owner can have visibility into what's happening with projects and how they are tracking

The way each member has the option of seeing what they want and not having to live with something designed by others

Not being able to set up templates that have multiple boards, it takes longer to set up all the jobs we have and then set up each permission

Some of the better features are for paid plans only.
Quite expensive as you are required to have a minimum of 3 licences for the lowest tier paid account.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project and task management for a small team that are all working remotely.
It allows us to easily keep track of what is outstanding without having complex software such as Microsoft Project.

User-friendly and helps keep things organized
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that I can review the status of all projects at any given time. It helps me see if a team member is stuck and needs some assistance or if I need to get extra hands on deck to meet a deadline.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any suggestions for improvement. It ticks all of the boxes and functions the way I believe it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a remote workforce, and Monday.com has helped us stay connected and enabled us to keep track of not only our projects within the company but also projects we collaborate on with other vendors. It is the best solution I have found for making sure nothing falls through the cracks when we are making multiple changes at once.
Great tool for cross-function project management
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use - I know that a couple of other teams across our org use it as well, but it's great to see that there's much value in Monday - along with how easily customizable it is!
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like an intuitive tool, but there are some columns and dashboards that have a bit of a learning curve. Surprising that there isn't a desktop app available, but I hope that is to come soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feature Pipeline tracking, internal task pipeline tracking, Revenue Pipeline tracking, leadership stakeholder dashboards, personal task management. Benefits for all of these things for me is that they no longer live silo-ed and can be relational to one another.
Streamlined, adaptive project management
What do you like best about the product?
Monday has been an incredibly helpful tool for collaborating across departments. The user interface is streamlined and easy to use, with an incredible degree of flexibility based on the individual needs of each stakeholder. Customizing each board based on what it is tracking has been easy and effective. Even visually, the platform feels sleek, approachable, and modern.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because there are so many possible functionalities, there is a bit of a steep learning curve initially. Setup takes some time for any sizeable organization, and training takes quite some time as well. Because new capabilities are often being added, continuing education should just be expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-departmental collaboration is the biggest problem that I am solving with Monday.com. The ability to keep everyone on the same page in one central hub has massively reduced the need for repeated emails and unnecessary meetings. This ultimately saves a lot of time, and spares myself and my colleagues from potential tension or misunderstanding. There is never any question about where to go for the most up-to-date information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a strong collaboration tool, I don't think there is anything better out there at present than Monday. The platform is constantly being upgraded, so be sure to experiment with their test labs, where you can try out their beta functions; often, you can find gems there.
