Monday.com changed the way I work, for the better!
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Monday.com is having all my tasks and projects in one place. I can even see what my colleagues are working on, and their progress. As a distracted, non-detail-oriented person, I was initially overwhelmed by Monday.com. I was introduced to it because my supervisor was implementing the use of Monday.com for our entire team, so I felt obliged to use it. I had no idea what I was doing. But with consistent use, it is now my digital workspace. The learning curve was quick!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there is anything I really dislike about it! The learning curve was probably the most difficult part. It is pretty intuitive, but there were certain tasks/commands that I needed to figure out (or have a colleague show me how to do).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of having little post-it notes or ideas jotted down on a piece of paper I will forget about or lose, I have somewhere to park all my tasks and all those wild ideas that go through my mind! I can even keep track of my progress, and organize tasks by project or thought.
It is also creating a collaborative workspace for our team. I can see what has or has not been done by other teammates, which allows us to know exactly where we're at in the process.

There aren't many things I dislike about Monday. The more customization the better.

I am a huge fan of the workload funtionality.Being able to move around work to employees who have more availability is so easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop app is a bit laggy, nothing major but noticeable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a one stop shop for project management, time tracking, and everything in between.

I tied everything, Jira, Asana, ect. Monday was the best!
Quick and Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Keeping everything in order with exactly what I need to share with coworkers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be hard to get into. When it crashes we always seem to need it right then.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping jobs organized and easy to follow. Definitely organization and the colors really help.

Great Organization Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you are able to make it completely customizable. No two boards need to be the same and it's so easy to edit things to your liking. The automation tool makes things so easy to keep track of and you can make it super customizable. I have different boards for different projects, and one to keep everything organized, and it's so convenient. I use Monday every day!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't love is that unless you are a very large corporation, you cannot have a Monday.com rep on your team. There have been many instances where a go-to person would have helped mitigate the problem quickly but I have been told that our company (100+ employees) isn't big enough for a rep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I keep track of all my current projects on different boards and it makes it so easy to share with colleagues. There is a spot to keep everything so it's easy for the whole team! Since there are so many features while making a Monday board, you can organize your tasks in the way that's easiest for you which is nice because it helps so nothing falls through the cracks.

Visually Intuitive, But a Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like that monday Work Management is visually appealing. It's very easy to see, especially through the charts and reports. This allows me to easily track where people are at in terms of their tasks, and to see what's done, what's pending, and the various statuses at a glance. I appreciate the dashboard view which makes it easy to get a quick snapshot of what's happening. It’s a very powerful tool under the surface, combining both aesthetic appeal and functional strength that helps in efficient project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find there's a steep learning curve with monday Work Management. It has definitely taken some time for us to get the most out of it, which isn't ideal. Explaining it to team members who are not as tech-savvy can be challenging. We had to use help files and even create our own videos to help integrate it into our work culture. Although once people get accustomed to it, they tend to like it, it initially does seem to intimidate employees who are less familiar with technology.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use monday Work Management to solve scheduling issues and enhance collaboration for remote and part-time team members, centralizing all documents, simplifying communication, and tracking task progress efficiently.
Intuitive Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I've used teamwork and asana before, but hands-down Monday is the easiest and most collaborative. I like how you can create a board template and replicate it for all projects. Plus the change from My Week to My Work improves my personal productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of add-ons I'm not familiar with, so a better introduction to them would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping everyone on the same page without a designated project manager has been a challenge, but Monday's capabilities make it manageable for a team of 10.
Really good task app...
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use - I think the simplicity of it is one of the best parts of using the app! it is very cool to be able to view not only your personal tasks but company tasks as a whole. Also - seeing the done items make me feel accomplished haha!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only thing I have an issue with is that there are times when it does take a while to load tasks - especially when moving them from one person's task list to another's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest issues I have with my job is keeping my time organized. I have a long list of things I have to do and Monday helps me line them up according to importance or due date! And the reminders really help keep me on task!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would always recommend new users take some time to get familiar with the app before jumping right into it.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is great for keeping projects organized especially when multiple people are working on one project. I have found that this system makes people accountable for their work and the way its set up makes deadlines clear. The updates section keeps all information in one place versus endless email chains where info can easily be lost.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike. It would be nice to have a time tracker connected to projects (like Time Doctor). This would be helpful for projects that are billed hourly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday makes juggling multiple projects easy. It's satisfying to change the labels to done- almost like checking another item off the "to-do" list. Its also great to set priorities to projects so that the team can see what is the most important thing to get done.
