Project Administrator relies on Monday

  • August 05, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the way that Monday can be used for qualitative and quantitative analysis for projects. It is easy to keep records of project milestones and deliverables to reference for report writing. The platform is friendly and inviting which is helpful for growing project support teams. While working remote, Monday is very useful for staying connected to team members without having frequent meetings and calls. Aside from project management, my company used Monday to connect employees in interest groups, manage scheduling, and provide a virtual community.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large quantities of information can overwhelm a project board, and it is time-consuming to create all of the breakdowns or go through them all. It is not as easy to integrate other apps into the Monday system, so file sharing and link sharing are not very streamlined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday has helped my team increase productivity because it is rewarding to see tasks completed and also small items are less likely to fall through the cracks. Monday also provides a way for support staff to assign tasks to supervisors and hold them accountable. It helps to delegate tasks and divide projects evenly across the team. Our projects stay better organized when our team uses Monday and it lessens the frequency of meetings because our updates are shared across the team through the board.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would suggest Monday for companies, whether they are small or large because it is so customizable. I enjoyed using Monday at a small company because it decreased the frequency that people would knock on office doors or come over to our desks for a small question. At a large company, Monday is currently helping me stay on top of tasks across multiple projects while engaging with a more significant number of colleagues, many of whom I have never met in person. Monday creates a friendly atmosphere and celebrates camaraderie and collaboration.

Excellent software for project management is accurate and saves time

What do you like best about the product?
A backlog of future efforts or projects might be created. Aside from that, I really enjoy the way the different sorts of file extensions are displayed. Tracking all mobile components of our creative initiatives is made possible with this tool. Each aspect is described in detail, from the location of writing and design to the date of publication, as well as its current status. The link columns are also used to keep track of the linkages to other assets inside our system.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to set it up, but it is well worth the effort. Information on guidelines, templates, or services that allow us to configure the equipment quickly on Monday would be helpful. On sometimes, it was sluggish, or perhaps there were many individuals using Monday at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If you're willing to put in the effort to learn how to use it, this program is really easy to use. Automatisms are beneficial to businesses although my team does not use many of them. Team administration, as well as collaboration between multiple teams, saved time, and eliminated the need for email. If you're on your phone, you'll have all of the same features as on your laptop. It is also beneficial to be able to utilize the program in multiple languages, even if we are on the same team but from different countries.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A good building is built, even though it takes some time. It's worth it, and the platform or Monday program will continue to be used and loaded in the same way. Adding or changing table structures, moving files, etc. is a breeze. Importing data as spreadsheets is also a breeze.

Great for integrating other apps... There is a lot of room for improvement though

What do you like best about the product?
We can track our projects from beginning to end and link boards together. It can notify our team. We can create forms. It's supposed to be a one-stop-shop.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of features that I would like but do not exist yet. For example, when creating a form I want to have more control over it, but it is very standard. I want to be able to include calculations and ask questions based on the respondent's previous answers.
Also, the new layout is really hard to navigate. You can't see the boards easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our whole company can use monday to keep track of a project in one spot. It helps with communication. The integration with Twilio, Salesforce, and Gmail is a great help.

Excellent software to manage team projects.

  • August 01, 2021

What do you like best about the product?
I prefer to be able to see what I need to accomplish at a glance. It's a better method to work with my coworkers, as there's less email interchange. In addition, I appreciate being able to arrange all of my chores, lists, and projects in a style that makes sense for me and for others. Everything can be categorized, color-coded, and discussed in great detail if you know how. Monday, "I set up a system for everyone in my office so they could keep track of all of our ongoing tasks during the epidemic." Despite not being able to meet in person, we were able to collaborate via email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because there are so many features, the UI might be a bit confusing at times. In the previous two years, Monday.com has only made one update / modification, and it was a bit sudden when it was done, even though they warned us that the interface might change a bit. This is a tool that, in my opinion, can grow with our input, therefore some of my questions have been answered quite fast. To do my job effectively, I needed additional accommodations. Our problem is about to be solved after a quick conversation with Monday's team. We are really happy with the service we received.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a result of using Mondays.com, I've been able to enhance my organizing abilities. My coworkers and I are able to manage everything, from ready papers to shareable documents, and everyone can see it as a team. Others can also take responsibility for my job, as they can view my lists. Before, my teammates and I exchanged much too many emails. This changed on Monday. As a result of fewer emails, more time is available for productive work, which results in a significant time savings. My teammates just add a note on their work if they have a query. So, even those who aren't really concerned about the project may respond an interrogator without having to send numerous emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool appears to be pretty sophisticated, but you have to give it a shot and see what you think. The first time I visited the site, I was blown away, but with a little practice, my teammates and I were able to navigate it with ease. Large firms, in my opinion, benefit greatly from the fact that employees are able to work from home. Working from home and needing to be alone, monday.com allowed me to stay organized.

Excellent software to organize all your projects.

What do you like best about the product?
This game is great since it allows several teammates and teammates to play, and everyone can be on the same page and follow everyone's progress at once. My favorite part of having external collaborators on a project is having them around for dinner. The ability to customize the color coding and assign different tasks to different contributors makes it easy to keep track of everything. The tables are quite flexible, which I find appealing. Create a system that operates the way you want it to. A wonderful technique of labeling has been developed. Comparatively to other project management sites, this software's communication mechanisms are superior.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sub-timers' time tracking is not very efficient. Since Toggl integration failed so miserably, Toggl has being utilized externally since Monday. When it comes to setup, I think that the administrative console falls a little short. If the program could be further customized, it would be a fantastic bonus. In addition, various sorts of members should be able to access the site at different levels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The team's tasks are monitored, as is the project's status and organization. A virtual team of individuals working on projects concurrently may communicate quite well with this tool. Managing large-scale projects with stringent deadlines and plenty of validation is done on Monday, and Monday plays a key part in their success. It helped us to keep track of our progress as we divided up the tasks and made appropriate remarks as we went. As a team, we also have to deal with decentralization issues, which may be a challenge when everyone is working from home.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For project planning and task management, it's a great tool to have around. There are no exaggerations when it comes to the quality of the film. However, because the system is so adaptable, it will work for anybody. It will help you to be more productive and efficient. It helps me better organize my time and focus on the right things because I'm a very visual person.

Helping teams balance projects and workflows

  • July 29, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and start a workflow. You can assign different projects and roles in schemes to other team members and get updates as soon as a team member updates the status of a project.
Plus, you can store project documents like Invoices and information so the team remotely can access records.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's more straightforward to use the website than the app. It's much easier to navigate and update. and you have to make sure that your team members are updating everything and on top of their tasks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to manage the different projects that we are working on since every team member works on a project during different phases. And we wanted everyone to know when to hop on and keep the flow of our projects moving.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
if you need a program that can help your team manage current projects and manage roles and who does what, this will help you a lot!

Visually Satisfying

  • July 29, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The visual representation is seamless. Data organization and comprehension is unfathomable. To find a person who knows power queries, validation, and coding to build a database from the ground up, would cost so much more in time and money and still be half as satisfying as Monday.com is.
What do you dislike about the product?
The option for private settings. I dislike that if you later decide that you want to make a board private-you have to reshare it with the people you have previously shared it. Also, I would like to see an expansion of privacy settings in workspaces. I see that the premium privacy setting is utilized via Enterprise. And Enterprise is pretty awesome....but you have to have 100 seats to be on that plan. Mondays target audience doesn't need that. Bridging the gap for small to mid-sized businesses regarding scalability and accessibilty facilitation would be nice. Especially when it comes to custom reporting and quadrants.

Also, a separate chat integration outside of the "discussions" app you can install. It acting as a sort of tab or view is nonsense. It's not intuitive...Also, the notes app needs to be seriously reconsidered-I think someone had great intentions with it. But they are essentially useless if you can't make data relationships or hyperlink to multiple boards and workspaces and folks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can manage businesses and project manage for others remotely —especially start-ups and non for profits talent agencies and marketing businesses. The set-up of integrations, email automation, employees, RACI Matrix, gross profit/loss, etc. There are too many to list.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If an app doesn't integrate internally, then Zapier or integrately usually triggers whatever desired action. QBs has over 1k actions but with invoicing triggers I would advise going with integrately or using an app int specialist.

Keeping the team organized and moving

  • July 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is a fantastic tool that has allowed us to keep projects on track and moving. When you have so many people all working on the same project it can be difficult to keep track of who does what, notes, or any changes. With items changing hands quickly at times, Monday makes it easy to track and record everything necessary and understand who is responsible for each component.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are definitely a lot of players in this game, overall I think Monday is a good product and you would not be disappointed in using it. There are minor issues that will arise from time to time, but you will get that with any software. I think overall this is a great product, the functionality of it is super easy, it connects in with your SSO or Onelogin, and you can access it whenever or wherever you need it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday has allowed us to all stay on the same page and track when it comes to sprint planning or large projects. We have used a few others and Monday is my preferred software. We have recently switched to Clarizen, but I would have preferred we stayed with Monday.

Great Workflow

  • July 20, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to assign jobs and stay on task each week with new clients. It's very easy to use and there are many customizable functions that are helpful to workflow!
What do you dislike about the product?
We often have issues with getting the automation option to work. Unsure if it's a user error or system flaw, but when we have a new week of work, the only downfall to Monday.com is this persistent issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One problem is automation, it's just often confusing when or how it will will refresh. One benefit though is the due date, and assign tabs, they come in handy when they give reminder emails each week as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look into all options with Monday.com and see if it would be best for workflow and organization of your business.

Esthetically Pleasing

  • July 20, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com's UI is super easy to use and looks great - It is easy to stay organized with all of the different features and colors based tasks. It has a lot of great features you would look for in a Project Management System and a great way to stay organized. Even on the free version.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is limited in what it can offer - there are certain features and integrations that are missing that are vital in the project management world. A lot of the things require a higher paid version to be able to accomplish. I also think there are certain things to stay organized that could be updated to be more user friendly for PMs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project Management software to keep large teams organized. It is a great way to create tasks for team members and to check in on how each member is accomplishing and what they are spending their time on.
