What do you like best about the product?
The look, the ease of use, the way you can see your pending tasks and tasks you and your team have already accomplished. It makes you feel proud to see everything you have gotten done while not making you feel overwhelmed by everything you still need to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does require a lot of work and maintenance on your end. The email reminders can get a bit overwhelming. If you skip a task or change a due date and forget to update the site, it will start blasting you that you are late. The learning curve is a bit steep as well to get the most out of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping the team and myself organized. We are keeping track of our program deliverables. It makes it really fun to see your tasks getting done, almost like a game. Keeping the team updated on one another's projects and progress also helps the team feel more connected and motivated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep it updated! Keep your work short and to the point. Use all the features. Take time to learn and play around with the elements, don't be afraid of messing up or breaking the system like I was. Everything can be recouped if lost and undone.

What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration and transparency and key to planning ANYTHING—events, editorial content, and more. I like that I can see who is working on what project and be able to ask questions and provide support if a member is stuck or needs help. I also like the ability to add reminders to my calendar, upload documents and have everthing in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there was a better integration with Outlook that also put these events right into the Outlook calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication—it was inefficient to run through what each person was working on once a week in team meetings when that update was old hours after it was shared, I like that it creates the opportunity to know where projects are in real-time.

Get your team on board, collaborate and communicate effectively!

What do you like best about the product?
Convenience and adaptability of highlights. The more our group utilizes Monday.com, the more thoughts are produced with respect to how to carry out it for something different. Since its so natural, nearly everybody has sorted it out absent really any preparation. I likewise like how much robotization is implicit and the reconciliations with other applications makes it an executioner application. I likewise like that the engineers are continually refreshing the application and improving it constantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some easy decision (as I would see it) includes that appear to be missing. Trusting that these get carried out sometime in the future. A portion of the things I don't care for are:

Just email mix is with gmail and trade.

Can't make dashboards without giving dashboard watchers admittance to fundamental information

Reflected sections can't be communicated with like ordinary segments

Manager can't get to all sheets in case they are checked private (makes it difficult to deal with all sheets and what is being done on the stage).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we had to deploy over 100 employees to work remotely at the beginning of the Covid Outbreak Monday.com made it easy to manage all aspects of getting our team set up in 50 different locations. It also got us thinking about how to manage all our collaborative projects better using the platform.

A Platform that can be used for nearly anything!

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can build your boards similarly to your Excel sheets, but with a few clicks, you can show this data in several different ways that could improve your insights a lot. Especially the timeline + Gantt view and the map views are incredible!
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations with dutch platforms are minimal, for instance snelstart.
also email integrations to groups of people (project groups) are not possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning and project/document management. For the planning, the most beneficial is making several different plan boards based on the same information (i.e., project planning and materials planning). For project/document management, it's mostly the overview we get by just looking at the board and instantly seeing how much green, gray, or red there is. Of course, the availability of all information for our entire team is very beneficial too!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are not sure Monday.com would work for you, the best thing to do would be to build a board to use it but try 2-3 different setups. Then it would be best if you looked at the different ways of viewing the data using the tabs at the top of the boards. Also, try the dashboards to show portions of data in boards. Try to make the boards as complete as possible, and show parts of this board in dashboards.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and flexibility of features. The more our team uses Monday.com, the more ideas are generated as to how to implement it for something else. Because its so easy, almost everyone has figured it out without much training. I also like how much automation is built in and the integrations with other apps makes it a killer app. I also like that the developers are constantly updating the app and making it better all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some no-brainer (in my opinion) features that seem to be missing. Hoping that these get implemented some day. Some of the things I don't like are:
Only email integration is with gmail and exchange.
Can't create dashboards without giving dashboard viewers access to underlying data
Mirrored columns can't be interacted with like normal columns
Administrator can't access all boards if they are marked private (makes it hard to manage all boards and what is being done on the platform).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we had to deploy 120 employees to work remotely at the beginning of the Covid Outbreak Monday.com made it easy to manage all aspects of getting our team set up in 120 different locations. It also got us thinking about how to manage all our collaborative projects better using the platform.

What do you like best about the product?
1. Flexibilty: It allows me to configure Monday to suit my needs.
2. Experience / UX / UI: It's intuitive, clean (no clutter, despite the nature of the product) and even "fun" to use.
3. Convergence between hours & billing: It allows our consultancy firm to track hours to generate billing.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Expanding subitems requires an aditional click.
2. Mobile app stil lacks more potent features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Complexity of the project: Too many teams, initiatives, and collaborators working together with tight deadlines.
2. Effort & billable hours tracking: Due to the complex nature of specialized consultancy, this was a significant issue.
3. Ease of adoption: As we need active collaboration from many different clients, ease of use is critical to guarantee adoption.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Although Monday offers many flexible ways to configure how to track and visualize advance, I'd suggest to double-check that it suits your billing needs (specially for consultants, either solo or with a firm).

What do you like best about the product?
UI/UX. Oh boy, the Monday.com PM tool makes you fall in love with your work. You can create multiple boards and manage all of them at the same time, thanks to the ease of navigation and notification systems. Classification of tasks into 'Things to do' and 'Done', along with updating task status, assigning priority to tasks makes me a very happy user. Creating Dashboards are literally at the click of a button and you can choose between different Chart forms to visualize your Project data. Above all, the UX is very eye-pleasing and satisfying. You feel a sense of accomplishment upon completing a task and delivering a project on time!
What do you dislike about the product?
Seriously there is nothing that I could think of, even after using it for a long time. That is why it gets a 10/10 from me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have created multiple boards for different teams - Software, Content, and Testing for independent work and have been able to assign dependencies for interdependent work. Assigning Due dates and Priority has helped me focus on what deserves more attention in a project. Monday.com also has Automation, where you can create one and activate it on any board. For example, notifying board members when the due date arrives. This has helped me manage multiple boards seamlessly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Monday.com is bundled with a lot of useful features. You can integrate it with Slack for more efficient management of Projects. Get Monday for its custom dashboard creation options.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is a simple and effective means of communicating between all levels of the company structure. We have found that getting information across to relevant team members has now become immediate, whereas before, data was being lost or mishandled quite often. Now, as a result of this central platform, any member of the team can have an overview of an entire project all at once, in real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functionality is still clunky, and automations clash, meaning some of the benefits of those automations can be lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are finding that scheduling has become more defined and well communicated. There has already been an increase in productivity across all departments. Information is retained with greater success, and better follow-up has been possible with suppliers and clients. Our projects are completed on time more often, resulting in happier clients who are more likely to offer repeat business.

What do you like best about the product?
Friendly user. Web-based and available as an app. The software is customizable. I like how easy it is to work on it, add my item, move from one group to another aand create a dashboard to share
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using the platform only for a few months, so I do not see many cons. The only cons I see for now is that we can't restrict access to a person for only one dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com helps me list my projects in different groups and efficiently track and share my work and progress with others on my team. I believe Teamwork and performance have increased.
