Great tool for keeping track of marketing team projects

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to create boards, projects, and subitems. It's super easy to keep everyone on the team up-to-date and to notify a specific person if you need something from them on a particular project. Everything is super customizable, but not to the point where it adds a lot of complexity. Having a mobile app is super convenient too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features around subitems could be improved - like with cloning and moving things around. And sometimes importing from excel can be a bit tricky. I also wish you could add in your own custom hex color codes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our marketing team uses Monday to keep track of our weekly and quarterly projects. We use it religously so it's super helpful for keeping us all on the same page and helping keep us organized. It helps us stay on task every week, but also keeps on focused on our overarching goals we set up at the beginning of each quarter.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the intuitive user interface and how quickly I was able to learn the system. Very quickly I began to use it to restructure how our organized information and projects. By having our processes and projects structured within Monday.com, it allowed all employees to ensure projects were on schedule and moving ahead smoothly. With our data from our projects, we were then able to calculate KPI's and other informative data to better forecast our workload and measure performance. The dashboards and charts really help us to reflect on our projects and make improvements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the structure of the columns and rows, there are some limitations on calculations and various other functions that we would have liked to be able to perform. That said, every month new features is being added to expand the options within Monday.com. The teams' devotion to creating an amazing product is clear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a single source of truth for the status of our projects for all of our departments has helped immeasurably. As a team lead, I can jump into either our overview board or our dashboards to quickly see how a department is doing and can narrow down issues by going into individual project boards and see timelines, statuses and calculations. By having all of our information in one central system it has also allowed us to perform dynamic KPI calculations to measure our teams performance, which was previously a very manual and time consuming process.

What do you like best about the product?
I find that that Monday is good at being able to keep track of precisely who is working on what, with regard to projects. Furthermore, I believe that Monday is good at keeping track of progress on projects, prioritizing items that need to be worked on immediately, and what tasks can be done later. Additionally, I believe that monday has benefitted our organization by process of performance reviews, wherein our CEO is now able to see our reviews in a streamlined view that is easy to look at and use. With optimal training, I believe that monday can be beneficial for any organization looking to plan, track, and record projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday's dashboard and functions are sometimes confusing to use, the interface may be user-friendly for some. However, I tend to have trouble finding the right things at the right time. Furthermore, I could use more training with this program. Perhaps G2 or Monday is able to provide online modules so that users are able to better find and use the program to the maximum benefit for their organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday has helped us by streamlining a new way to do performance reviews that are better than our previous process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use monday for project planning, tracking, and organizing. It is also a great space to comment on each other's work by process of file sharing. Furthermore, individuals may look to use monday for performance reviewing that can help your supervisors target areas for improvement.

What do you like best about the product?
I personally like all of it but in general, having all of the information I need to manage my team and our workload in just one screen has changed my worklife completely
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing! When using it, of course, I realise I would add /change/ adapt some features or functionalities but that would only be to make it perfect to fit my tasks and I dont think it's related with the product itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
amount of information split and lost in emails, physical view of my workload, time& efficiency, communication issues, information structure issues, deadlines issues...
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not hesitate! If you're an organised, methodical person managing a vast workload and team, monday.com will definitely change your worklife

What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool to keep track and organized. At first, I was not really into it, but once I started using it and creating boards, it became necessary in my daily work life. Every morning I open Monday.com before my email and other tools to have a refresher of what I need to work on, what I need to follow up on, what is already completed etc. I have fun using my boards with the status fields, automations, colors, they way I can add labels, links that take me where I need to go, like Sales Force or any other webpage. I have recommended Monday.com whenever the subject of how I keep organized has come up. Awesome tool!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Monday.com is a brilliant tool, and it has everything covered; if the Monday team has not come up with something they dislike, I don't think I can beat them to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, it's extra brain storage it helps me to track my work, keep organized, remind me of tasks and follow ups I need to complete, and the note section is the best part because I can make notes for myself or add any thing the client and/or providers have said no having to go back to my emails and waste time looking for something because I already have it noted in Monday.com
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Like all new tools, at first, it can be a bit challenging getting used to it, but in my experience, I find it very user friendly, and a best practice I would advise is to take time and play around with it at first so you can discover all the brilliant things it has. It does make life easier!

What do you like best about the product?
It's like a spreadsheet but a million times better. You can do anything with Monday.com, literally anything. What I like best is that you can create a column for any information you need to fill in, and you can sort everything based on any column.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a smaller subscription you could buy. I only have 1 person under me, and we use it together, but I had to buy a five subscription plan. It would be nice to do a two person plan or even an individual plan and then add shareable boards on the off chance that we need to collaborate with someone outside of our office.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Monday.com for our church office. We are organizing daily tasks, planning church renovation projects, Collaborating with coworkers in one unified place, managing social media, managing the church event calendar and it's keeping us sane doing it.

What do you like best about the product?
We use it to track requests we get from clients. It makes keeping track so much easier and now I rarely feel like something that fallen off the radar. It's great for date tracking, it looks simple and clean, there are a lot of customization options to make deadline, progress, etc very clear. I love having the option of making multiple dashboards and groups within the dashboards. I love setting deadlines so that I can tell if something is behind. It's also just pretty fun to use, I feel like the monday.com puts a lot of heart and work into their product.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are only a few small things I'm not a fan of. It seems like too many clicks to edit an update (I feel like it should just be a matter of clicking into the box). I don't like that if you add an update but don't type, it saves it. It seems better just to delete automatically. The "read more" banner is a bit distracting. Sometimes the icons are a bit confusing, I end up clicking around to find what I'm looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management - creating due dates, tracking work or communication within a task, assigning projects. We've taken a lot of out of emails where things are easily lost. It's also easier to work across teams with monday.com because our team works outside of the system everyone else does.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
if you need to track a lot of small, details tasks, it's a great solution.

What do you like best about the product?
Organizing and being able to see who worked on different projects has made my life better and I also like the interface it seems fun to interact with and very collaborative

Everything is good so far, I haven't found anything I don't like but maybe create more automations so we can have more things we ca do when moving tasks or if you want to move them to other boards
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To have records and accountability about order creation and to be able to follow up on orders opportunities and also tracking time for tasks that have been assigned to other people, and there are a lot of benefits such as time tracking and to be able to have a better visibility of the tasks and also who is the one working on each task, that has been the best that I have experienced

What do you like best about the product?
Our team uses the project management features of Monday.com. We have it set up where our main page is a broad outline with dates for the year. In that general outline, we have spaced out Planning, Product Launch, Execution, and Client Acquisition. It's great because our team can see the goals we are trying to achieve.

In the following subset, we can include more detailed mini-projects that allow the team to remember that there are multi-facets of the goals. For example, if we are talking about "marketing the brand," the subsections would be 1.website 2.business cards 3.social media accounts, etc.

What brings it all together is from there, we can establish weekly tasks to make every part of the goal achievable.

To successfully roll out something, it's not as easy as saying, "I'm building a car'. To successfully build that car, there are 100 topics to discuss and even more actionable items to get that car constructed and on the road. Monday.com helps with that. We have seen our timelines met, and we are ahead of some of the timelines because it is all organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of our employees complain that it is difficult to understand at first. Some employees are not used to change. Once they explore it, in time they learn and tend to love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com is solving our execution. Before that, managers would suggest ideas, and the implementation would be inefficient. A lot of company time was wasted.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Monday.com is a powerful tool. Before you purchase a plan, please do your research and discover the features you want to use from Monday.com. We use it for Project Management, but they have so many other tools. Make sure you're using it to the fullest.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Monday can be connected directly with so many other apps! It makes it easier to have all the information I need readily available and without delays in a single view of my choosing. I also like how it can be used internally or externally, client-facing in our case, so both teammates and clients can see and know exactly what's the status on certain projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Boards can become a little too long for your screen if you are not careful and definetly need it in a table view - there's nothing to help you there but keeping everything as sweet and short as you can. Also, integrations may malfunction from time to time, making you have to take time to make sure everything is working fine, so you don't miss any information coming from outside of Monday. A little annoying sometimes, but nothing that can't be fixed quickly!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my company, we use Monday to manage everything from internal requests, meeting agendas to client projects from an opportunity to the projects' completion. Monday makes it a simple process every time; we don't miss any information, and everyone is updated on the status of whatever we're working on.

Go for it! And make sure to go through the tutorials, guides, and demos; it'll make it a smooth transition into the world of Monday.com
