Excellent project and personal task management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The bright, engaging interface makes tracking personal and team tasks effortless. Monday helps prevent things from falling through the cracks and reduces the amount of tools needed to manage tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop app doesn't feel native i.e. it feels like a web page in a app interface. It can be slow to load/respond at times. Other than that it works well and no strong complaints come to mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to add a log of updates to individual tasks/items has been invaluable. Managing permissions, access, and the "my work" view helps keep everything together. We're just getting started with automation and even the most basic automation are very helpful to reduce clicks and user-required input.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take time to discuss your tasks and workflows with the Monday support team - they can make great recommendations and automation to reduce manual clicking/updating etc.
Endless Options
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the different templates and options that can be used to track status of completion and correspondence on progress. I also really love the documents feature where I can have a running list of things built right into Monday and not have to have a separate document. I've also been able to share multiple agendas and working projects with others involved - so nice to see updates real time!
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been many times I would like to have a sub item of a sub item, but that is not a possibility. I believe this is more me needing to organize my thoughts better and lay it out in the format given.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of having multiple documents for different groups of people, or different projects or tasks, I have one area I can condense all my documents and notes to so I am prepared for whatever meeting I have or training needed. Excellent place to store current projects and communicate with others on your team regarding them.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the new integrated feature of dashboards inside boards! I love how easily you can integrate Monday with other platforms. And finally, I like automation and the notifications you can get from there. I love the time tracking column!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that I don't like that when you create a subitem column, you can't delete it; you need to delete your whole board if you make that mistake. I don't like that you can't attach files in emails when I integrate Monday with Gmail. Besides that, I enjoy using Monday.com very much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to automate the whole process of some projects using Monday.com. I have realized how easy is to automate and get things done in a better and faster way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You need to play around to get the most out of it. I would let them know how easy is to use the automation so the don't need to worry about how to automate and most of the process can be acutomated.
Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Monday.com lets us export reports easily so we can customize them and send them off to our customers. The automations are amazing and the fact that it can send us email reminders and notifications makes it easy to follow up on projects and make sure nothing gets missed. One of my favorite new (to me) features is the Llama Farm. If you know, you know.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far the only feature I would like to see improved is the ability to copy emails to Monday.com and be able to see the sender and recipient information. Other than that, I just need to learn the hundreds of features we haven't even gotten to dig into yet!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com has allowed us to get away from all our Project Managers using separate spreadsheets, different formats, and different ways of tracking. We've improved company processes because of Monday.com. The automations are an absolute necessity and saves us so much time (and therefore money) on administrative work. While everyone has different preferred methods of getting work done, Monday.com makes it easy to streamline processes and provide transparency not only internally, but also to our external partners and customers.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Monday.com is definitely the automation aspect. The automations make it easy to assign tasks, send email notifications, organize data, and more! I also really like the ability to set different views of a board.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were some more options for custom automations, such as triggering the automations based on diffrerent column types. I also wish you had the ability to color specific rows or cells within a board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using monday.com to manage projects and keep track of client statuses. We are also using it to track employee activity and productivity, which has given us some great insights on goal-setting and task management.
Easy Use of Monday.com
What do you like best about the product?
The organization tools on Monday.com are highly beneficial and easy to use to keep projects organized and workspace neat, as well as make communication with team members easily accessible, fluent, and concise. One of the greatest features is the "Subitems" feature, which allows smaller or similar projects to be organized together to save space and provide easy access to them. The artwork/files tab allows me to easily keep track of my projects and the various versions by prioritizing the most recent version. This allows me to easily find the most current/updated version of a project without getting lost in the multitude of scrambled versions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really to be disliked about Monday.com.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Projects organization has genuinely been made easy with Monday.com. Team communication is also more easily accessible and concise.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Monday.com is the ability to customize the user experience for my team. Not being tangled up with different projects not related to them frees my team up to focus on their tasks and be informed of the info they need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few complications I have with Monday.com. Plus, if I ever have a problem or need to figure out a certain function, the live and pre-recorded trainings always clear up any issues I have and offer workarounds to any problems I may be facing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest problems we faced was communications between departments when projects were ready to move on to the next step or be sent out for invoicing. Monday.com has made it possible to keep things from slipping through the cracks and increased efficiency between departments with little to no extra effort.
Easy, Intuitive, Satisfying
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to complete a task and send it off to my design team automatically. It makes the process seamless and intuitive to use. Also being able to view all overdue, currently due work, and upcoming work in one place helps me keep track of my standing in every project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes my tasks don't automatically drop down to complete once I mark them done.
I also find that some tasks become recurring once completed, but that might be an issue with the template we created.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It definitely makes task and project management more manageable, especially since we don't have a dedicated project manager at our small company.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how there are so many ways to be creative while having a great platform to keep organized. It's easy to use and there is a variety of things you can do. From animations, automations, charts, sorting mechanisms, and more, Monday.com is a fun and engaging program for all users!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only downside is trying to print the board - it usually doesn't show most of the board. There may be a way to combat this, however, I don't know how.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the problems we had recently was moving closed client info into its own tab. We decided to build out an automation that will move the closed files automatically so we won't get bogged down on our main board with them. We realized how beneficial using automations are because they really can lighten your work load by moving items on their own.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has helped me keep track of all of my projects, and I have visibility of where I am at all times. It is very user-friendly, and I love that people of all abilities have found it easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say anything specific that I don't like. Maybe if there were other configurations I could choose from, but I can't answer what that would be at this time. I wish that the mobile version was a bit easier to see everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving productivity problems with Monday.com; there is excellent visibility of everyone's workload. This has helped even out the load; not one person is overwhelmed where we aren't aware. This allows for us to split up work if needed and meet deadlines.
