Monday.com changed the way of working in my company.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can use them for very different activities and areas of the organization, from payment authorization, recruitment processes, project management, internal communication boards, among others.

I also like that over the years they have implemented new tools to make work easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my case, I am more of a board user than a board creator. I like the mobile version for ipad iphone more for quick responses than the web version, which seems more complex to use.

We keep track of accounts payable, which includes a copy of invoices, scheduled payment dates, and managers' authorizations to approve the expense.

As an HR company, we also keep track of the candidates that we are going to hire and we share this with our clients so that they know the recruitment process in real time.

We use monday.com to record payroll movements such as absences, disabilities or vacations.

We have a board for internal communications and another for company activities.

Consider using a version where you can add your customers and suppliers on Monday.com, this will give you greater possibility of interaction with the system.
Ensure that all members of your organization have a monday.com account to participate in the loop of operations.
Adequately train your staff in the use of the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is a powerful tool that allows us to manage our workflow better collaboratively; we enjoy the simplicity of its boards and the way it enables us to work in parallel to achieve common goals.

It is easy to use, and our team finds useful the integration it has with other tools and the possibility of accessing the boards from anywhere.

Our team has noted the powerful simplicity of Monday.com boards and templates and have found multiple uses for them, from a standard to-do list to a complex collaboration space to track project progress and designate tasks
Monday.com has enabled our team to work better even when working from home has become a new reality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a fan of paying per user/ year, but now all companies are implementing these subscription fees. I would also like to have better integration with Slack and other tools

Sometimes the notifications can get annoying as they are too many of them, and the automation can easily contribute to this problem if not managed properly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com allows us to ditch the to-do lists each team member had and instead allows us to have a workflow as a team. Also, this tool helps us to improve our workflow and to delegate tasks more efficiently; before Monday.com, it was challenging to track progress and to evaluate how close were we to reaching our goals

Accurate and convenient tool for work

What do you like best about the product?
It is being used in our Marketing department. We needed a way to keep track of all the moving parts of our Creative projects. Everything from which date the writing and design needs to be done, when it is being published, along with the statuses of each element as well. We use the link columns as well to keep track of the links for different assets. We also use this platform to forecast what projects are coming up as well as what projects have been finished.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I noticed was sometimes it was getting slow or maybe whenever there are multiple people who are using Monday at the same time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think this platform has great usability, if you know the platform. I really dove in when I started using it and played around with different items to try and improve my team's use of it. I think it can be a little bit confusing or easy-to-mess-up if you don't have very much experience with it, but once I dove in and got to know the platform, it is super easy to use and customize to fit your needs. The automations are helpful (although my team does not use many of them). We have also not integrated monday.com with a lot of platforms but I know there is that option
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's so malleable. It's incredibly easy to add to or change the structure of boards, move files around, etc., and importing data (like spreadsheets) is an absolute dream.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can maintain an organized workflow with my team and keep updates on every task. It's easy to create items and easy to use. The automatization approach is excellent, making it easier to create them, rather than creating IFs formulas on excel.
Another thing that I like is the posibility to creat teams and workspaces. We are currently working using agile methods like Scrum, and Monday gives us some great tools for this, like the monday app Live Colab, thats allows us to set the resources needed for each task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the dashboard creator lacks a few more options for visualization of the tables. Also, it needs more connectivity between tables.
Another thing I think needs more work is the organization space outside of the tables (something along the lines of creating folders on windows). In Monday you can create Workspaces, and inside a workspace you can create folders, but you can't create folders inside folders. As a big organization, we need more levels to have a better organization. We are currently using workspaces for each department, and every department has subareas and teams inside each area. Just having 2 levels is not enough.
Also it would help creating a few "sub-admin" profiles, so regular coworkers are a bit more restricted when creating new content (ussually not needed)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving problems of work distribution and task assignment. The benefits are easing the workload of a few coworkers and having better coordination with the teams. Also, it helps us track the progress of every project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a handy tool that can work with other tools like Gmail, Trello, Miro, JIRA, Python, to name a few.

What do you like best about the product?
Using Monday means forgetting about a collapsed inbox, and having instead a well-organized team,
It is also useful as a backlog for future initiatives or projects.
I also like the visualization of the different types of extensions of the uploaded files.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I don't like. It takes time to set it up, but it is completely worth it.
It could be interesting to have more about guides, templates o services that allow us users to deploy faster the Monday set up for the team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team management and also coordination between different teams, time saved, forgetting about the email, having a repository where to find anything from lasts actions o initiatives.
also, we have found some synergies throw Monday as we can or we are able to see other teams initiatives in which we can participate, that we won't be able to be aware of them if we don't use Monday. Maybe we could know them but not in such an incipient moment of the project. This is something
reciprocal as other teams are able to see our ideas and help us with them.
It is useful too to have the app on the phone wherever you are and have all the same functionalities as on the desktop version.
Another benefit found is the option to use the app in different languages even if we are from the same team but from different countries, as it happens at our company
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would tell them to build up a good structure, even if it takes time. It would be completely worth it and also be constant on the use and upload of information on the Monday platform or app

Makes my job easier

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can organize all of my tasks, lists, and projects in ways that make sense to me and everyone else who needs to see them. Everything can be categorized, color-coded, and discussed. During the pandemic, I had to work from home, and monday.com gave everyone at my workplace a way to keep track of everyone and our current projects. It gave us ways to continue collaborating despite not being able to see each other in person. Monday.com really makes me feel like I am a part of a team and not just an employee at a company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the interface is a little overwhelming just because there are so many features. Because I have a hard time with organizing and thinking clearly, the fact that there are so many options and features to use within monday.com can be overwhelming. The one update/change I have experienced over the past 2 years while using monday.com also felt a little abrupt when it was implemented, even though we were given warning that the interface was going to change a little.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem I have personally improved on with monday.com is my lack of organizational skills. The main benefits of monday.com, to me, are how my teammates and I can organize everything, from lists to shared documents, and the ability for us all to see it as a team. It helps me hold myself accountable, and because others can see my lists as well, they can hold me accountable on my work too.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are unsure about using monday.com at your workplace, I can't recommend it enough. I think it is especially wonderful for small companies when people have to work from home. Monday.com really gave me the ability to keep everything together while working from home and having to be by myself.

Robust tool for managing projects

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to import a google sheets doc and convert it to a Monday.com board, which happens pretty seamlessly.
I had to learn to create multiple "columns" for the different data points , when I pair my boards with a calendar view and want the event or tasks to appear on multiple dates
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not believe all of the Monday.com boards are intuitive; the board feel cumbersome when I am trying to rename columns or add multiple dates for an event (if I am offering the same event, multiple times).
One other things that I have not been a fan of with Monday.com is that if I want to share a board view or calendar view with people who do not use Monday.com, I have to get them a "view only" license, instead of them just being able to view the information without an account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Monday.com, I am solving the problem of having a board that displays my priorities and upcoming events. I need to have my project pipeline, status and estimated completions dates easily accessible to my stakeholders.
I have realized from my coworkers that there are benefits to having all of your stakeholders on the platform.
The more people you have adopted to Monday.com, the easier it will be to communicate your content.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool is best if you can get broad team adoption so that your stakeholders know how to navigate the boards

Two Words...User Friendly!

What do you like best about the product?
As our organization grew, so did our workload. But, that didn't necessarily mean more staff. We found ourselves lost in a sea of emails and Excel spreadsheets! We started looking for a better way to manage our many projects and tasks and came across Monday.com. It was a game-changer! We are way less stressed and way more organized and productive thanks to Monday.com. We've been using Monday.com since 2018 and have been extremely pleased with how user friendly it is. We looked at other products, such as Trello, and they were far too complicated and in-depth for our purposes. Learning how to use Monday.com was super easy and there were tons of training and support available. The Monday.com team is always receptive to ideas for new enhancements and functionality and is constantly working to improve the platform as it's customer needs change. From integrations, automations, notifications, time tracking, reporting and way more...Monday.com has it all!
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, there isn't anything that I dislike about Monday.com
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Marketing Team is way more organized and less stressed managing our many projects and tasks all in one place. Everyone is in the loop! We can even invite other non-team members involved with a project, such as graphic designers or developers, to a particular board or group so they too can participate in the project management process.

Monday.com is one of the most accessible and comprehensive project management products I've ever used. It is totally worth checking out!

What do you like best about the product?
Simplity, intuitiveness, beautiful interface, social aspect and the dopamine high our team gets from collaboratively moving a project forward. Love the little 'ding' and turning to do items green!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing to dislike other than asking for it to be free!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Executive reporting and insights, transparency, efficiency, better project management, improved work flow, improved communication, asset management.

Monday.com has the ability to transform an organization and culture if adapted within an organization or department! I have now worked with it in three organizations and brought it into two organization marketing departments and cannot say enough about the product. Can work from small orgs up to multi billion $$$ M&A's!

Project solution for one or many

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is a great tool to track and manage any project big or small. The customization and automations make this site as user friendly as possible. If you're not great at staying on track or keeping up with projects Monday can help you with that. If you're a part of a team that is spread out across many locations or simply across different departments this tool helps ensure everyone stays on the same page. I've used Monday.com for three years now and it is the only tool I've ever used that I just couldn't go without.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I've found that I don't like is that you can set things up to send emails out (automations) and it emails out a snippet of the post to whomever its set to send it to. The email gives you the option to reply to the post right from your inbox which is AWESOME, however when you use that feature your reply to the site includes a bunch of script from the email chain and it looks sloppy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have ADHD and the biggest problem Monday.com solves for me is helping me stay on task as well as allowing me to track progress being made easily which gives me the motivation I need to keep going. I also work on teams with remote workers across multiple states, as well as people who work at our other location and this site makes everything super congruent for all involved.
