What do you like best about the product?
The adaptability and customization it offers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are still in Beta, but they are still very good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are having more communication between team members, and we can also see who is responsible for what.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is the best tool, adaptable to all your needs, independently of what type of business you are in.

What do you like best about the product?
The automation are great, the overall interface is efficient and easy to read.
Color code and label personalization is great. Ability to create new board is good, column management as well.
It's easy to add content, customize status and have a gant / calendar way of seing things. Filters and people tagging works really well also. Everything related to creation status and approval make a lot of sense.The like and reply also are useful. The people profile also is interesting with phone number and status for new employee.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some automation are missing "if'" condition based on task text.
Some notifcation are sent twice , there is also a lot of useless notification and the board ownership for ancient employee is not easy to use. I would say we need to create the automation from a single account just in case someone account is deleted and we loose everything. Some automation don't have enough options and can't be use for specific industry. It would be great to be able to use it with a more complex fonction structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage the timeline for the release of our movies; it's easy to coordinate all teams for the different aspects. From the graphic team to the marketing team, we work together for the releases of our movies. It's easy to tag each other and request approval & verification with everyone easily, the update with video format are easy to use and usefull.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should set up from the start and admin account to create all the automation and board ownership.

Key ally to productivity

What do you like best about the product?
We upgraded to Monday after using Google Drive and spreadsheets to control some of our external projects. The intuitive dashboard and the pre-customized templates were a nice addition and helped the onboard process tremendously. Monday is an ideal solution when you are trying non-tech-savvy personal to an online project management tool. The ability to track time and tag colleagues into individual tasks and boards removes the need of email communication and IM communication, which is incredibly good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of Monday is that if your team members do not know how to use it properly, and start to start marking projects as done all at once, your email inbox will get bombarded. Creating a daily batch would definitely be a nice addition to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday helped us to keep on track with our tasks and keep our correspondence with our clients up to date.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Outline the necessities of each department beforehand, so you can design tailored boards for each department. This will help to increase user acceptance.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that statuses from one object flow into another. You could run a project ONLY using Monday. Reduces status calls. I really like how it organizes and instructs me of the priorities for specfic tasks and projects. It allows accurate measuring of KPIs and can show improvement (or degredation) of processes. furthermore, it can help show improvements to projects, and display analytical data of where bottlenecks in projects generally exist.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit to configure and get accurate timelines. When using Monday.com to implement a new product, it takes a lot of time and data to flush out accurate dates. Additionally those dates can fluctuate based on customer response to certain milestones in the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This product solves having too many status calls. It probably reduces my status call volume by over 80 persent. Additionally, it takes a lot of time and data to build an accurate project plan. I can see after a lot of data is used and built into the project plans, this would be a great tool to use for building project time lines. We can also estimate how long a prospective project will take, all the way down to the task.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would give it a go, however, expect to spend some time doing configuration properly

What do you like best about the product?
Mondays makes everything colourful, and organized. There are endless ways to sort and view your work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is alot of features that need to be progressed, subitems were very exciting to have available but their lack of useability makes things difficult to enhance workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everyone having the same information, reduced email threads of work, collaboration on ideas and brainstorming sessions.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to connect with your teammates quickly and efficiently. The ability to reference older conversations. The flexibility in how Monday.com is used. Subitems and checklists are also very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are at times random crashes. There are also glitches with images not showing up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management and communication, as well as Bill of Material (BOM) management and collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
Hands down the UI. Everything is so sharp and vibrant. Not to mention you can have a llama farm.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the way replies to messages within an assignment appear out of order chronologically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow and deadlines mainly. We use Monday as our primary project management and scheduling tool.

What do you like best about the product?
How versatile the boards are. You can create a system that works exactly how you need it to. The learning process can be a bit difficult at first but with many tutorial videos available it was easy to pick up. I like how you can colour code everything, and export directly to excel. The @/tagging is fantastic! Communication systems are superior on monday.com compared to other project management sites. I love the Status column and how adaptable it is, you can really adapt this column to any use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Time tracking is not efficient, and there are some complications with time tracking on the subitems. I tried to use the Toggl integration but it was so glitchy that I actually now just use Toggl externally from Monday.
Sometimes myself and my team find that we do not receive notifications from subitems, this can be troublesome as we miss important task updates. We also find it difficult that when you click on a notification it brings you directly to the update side page on the tasks but it doesn't show a map on that screen of which board and group the tasks is in, so sometimes navigation is tricky
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team task tracking, project overview, and organization. It is super effective for communication with a virtual team of people, who simultaneously work on tasks. The automation (while I mainly only use simple ones) are great for reminders, and notifying someone when a task has changed status and follow-up action is needed. The main benefit is proving a platform with great team & project communication!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is an excellent site for digital team and project management. It really is as good as they make it seem in commercials. The time tracking feature is a bit glitchy but the actual system is so customizable it will work for anyone!

I love(d) monday.com until just recently

What do you like best about the product?
My Work is the ultimate feature and I will be lost without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I now have to find an alternative to monday.com becuase despite being an early adopter (when it was called DaPulse) and paying two-years at a time for the subscription. My new subscription has increased by over 30%. I cannot justify the cost and need to find an alternative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a system to pull together all the task/project management systems we were using to manage client projects. When we saw how user friendly and easy monday.com was to use, we dispensed with all the other systems. I think the most important benefit is that junior team members no longer feel intimidated about assigning tasks to more senior team members. It empowered them.
