What do you like best about the product?
The ability for teams to function fluidly without being in the same location.
What do you dislike about the product?
Issues in previous review have been resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Day to day issues and functions of the office are handled much more easily and the board allows all staff to always be on the same page.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
iPad / phone app on multiple devices does not update or refresh so very difficult to use mobile versions.

What do you like best about the product?
We use the activity log, are heavy users of automations and will continue to add more, the email integration is great for tracking, the ability to have private boards and linking boards together and using automations to be able to track financial and workflow all at the same time. Customer support is excellent when helping try to create automations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Table views are not generally user specific. Automations aren't always robust enough, but customer support helps us find a workaround. There really isn't that much to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com has allowed us to not have to interrupt people to get status updates so we can concentrate on what we want/need to do.

With the automations, it has streamlined our cumbersome processes with instantaneous notifications when it requires the next person's attention. I am not exaggerating when I say something that took an entire day (mostly from communication delays) can now be divided and tracked and completed in under an hour.

With Monday, we have saved the at least one FTE if not more, which we would not be able to afford to hire for just the tasks it handles.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is well worth the cost of the system. The time you can save will open your group up to be able to get to more interesting things instead of being mired down minutae.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use for collaborating with colleagues in the field. Scheduling projects or service calls, tagging a technician on them, then being able to follow up with billing the client per the technician's report.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to properly convert to Excel spreadsheet, or to print just single posts. Having to subscribe to each board after they're created to get updates on them. Would like the function to have certain users subscribed to all boards to make it easier to track things. IE project managers and sales tagged on any board they create in order for us to more consistently track the projects that we're assigned to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling, job notes, project files. Keeps everything on one single platform making it a centralized system for both office and field workers. The ability to save crucial infomation on system design, blueprints, photo documentation of job statuses. The ability to track and properly bill change orders or client requests with employees in the field.

The ability to reference job files when a client calls with questions and you haven't had a chance to check on a project for a few days.

The ability to track overall completion from start date to finish.

Adding address lines for techs that haven't serviced a certain job prior to the call they're on.

Sales tracking for internal staff.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Properly communicate your goals with the team you plan on having use it. Hardest part of getting us up and running on Monday.com was getting the staff all on the same page as far as expectations, procedures, and what is expected of them daily/weekly.

What do you like best about the product?
The color coded labels make it easy to have an overview of all the things and it is easy for a lot of people to collaborate on things at once.
I like the option where you can create as many boards as you like and allow access to specific ones to specific people.
It is very organized and tidy and very user friendly. This is my first time using it and I have loved it ever since.I like the versality of monday in a sense where it can be used to everything and anything and also for people/ companies at various scales be it a small start up company or a big corporate. I would gladly recommend this service to a friend or a colleague.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I get notifications that are not related to me and things that are happening on other boards even though I am not on that board. When I scroll too fast it lags at times.
When a task is added, it can appear in a different dash / group than it is supposed to which can sometimes create confusion as a task will fall under someone's board when it is not supposed to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If I have a problem task I need to complete it is easy for me to dissect it into small bits and tasks and it then gives me a sense of deadlines and a sense of what problem I need to resolve in order to move onto the other task.
Monday helps me keep track of things I need to get done and also lets me see my overall progress with my tasks. It therefore helps me manage my time. If there is a problem I am having with a particular task I can easily @ or assign someone as an owner who can then helo me with my problem and be on that board with me simultaneously.
The problem of doing a task duplicitely never happens as each task is clearly assigned

What do you like best about the product?
Very clear. A lot of ways to manage tasks and create automation across multiple systems and internally on the boards

Sometimes change status does not reflect in another group of items when relevant automation is added. It appears only after the page refresh.

What do you like best about the product?
The concept of Monday boards makes it easy to get projects done without missing any steps. It enables your team to stay up to par as to what stage the team is at on a project. It is basically an automated detailed to-do list that a team can access. I wouldn't want to work without it. My IT company is able to track progress on all of our projects without missing a step. You are able to track the progress of a project, while automatically keeping a client updated. The platform can be used for many types of work, but project management is great. One thing I would change about Monday is the way the notifications work. There are ways to customize them, but they are a bit broad, as far as receiving the notifications you want. this isn't a big issue for me at least, but is the only one I could think of.

My IT company is able to track progress on all of our projects without missing a step. You are able to track the progress of a project, while automatically keeping a client updated. The platform can be used for many types of work, but project management is great. Great way to manage a team

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com offers full flexibility when it comes to the different set up and views for your boards. Lists? They got you. Kanban? They have that too. Calendars? Yep! It means you can switch the view that best suits your project at that stage or for that audience.
They also have a good range of automations and collaboration mechanisms that help optimise your workflows and find real efficiencies.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is nit-picking, as a super user and admin: some of the more pushed functionality can be lacking, for example detailed multi-board links, or some automation functionality. However, they're very good at releasing new updates and I have always felt heard by their feedback team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've used Monday.com on a whole flurry of projects, from keeping track of tasks, to managing content calendars, to keeping detailed lists of tools and contracts. We've worked on these internally, across departments, and with clients. Monday.com makes it easy to share boards at the click of a button, meaning you can involve team mates easily. We've been able to automate workflows and give visibility into processes we never had access to before.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, ability to customize parameters
What do you dislike about the product?
More powerful admin tools to manage board ownership, sharing a person or team to multiple boards. Undoing mistakes made by people is not reliable. There needs to be a history and restore point type of system for data to be secure (right now massive amounts of data can technically be deleted and would be extremely difficult and time consuming to retrieve in the event this occurs). Also, managing large amounts of data is not practical or really supported on the platform, yet. Importing from excel/google docs can be improved and have the limitations removed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized all of our production and post-production operation, along with integrating accounting and legal depts. on the platform. We are now able to manage all of our data in one convenient and well integrated platform. Many tasks have also been automated, saving us time and money.

Great product that can suit the needs of pretty much any organization or workflow

What do you like best about the product?
We use Monday.com primarily for its flexibility, customization and integrations. I love that each team member can create a board that works for their program and style. There are so many options for set-up and each is fairly easy to put together. And once you have a system that works for you, it runs like clockwork. I opt to receive notifications and have automations set up integrated with other apps like Zoom. I can also use it to track tasks for our team and give them tasks. We could not function without our Monday.com! Their customer service is also ON POINT and incredibly quick and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides of having so many options is that you really have to know what you want or be willing to try a few set-ups before your boards do exactly what you want them to do. That being said, there hasn't ever been something I wanted to implement that Monday.com did not have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that I can have multiple tasks in various stages. I have each set-up to tell me the status, and I can have notes attached to each task, as well. The deadline is easy to see and with a quick glance, I know what I need to be working on each day.

Easy tool to help on day to day job

What do you like best about the product?
Possibility to "like" updates, giving an "ok" but not generating a useless email alert or so. Tasks organized as timeline, easy to find what you are looking for. It's possible to update a task only by replying an email, and that is an amazing way to optimize work hours. The clean visual is the best I have seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's not so easy to find a task when it's been moved. Not so easy to find filters, as well. It could be a "welcome page" just with tasks that I am assigned or being part of. One and another day, there is no updates that justify receiving an email. It's a good idea to have a filter on that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing tasks from different company areas and adding complete feeedbacks. Also time tracking taks as they are being done is very important for us because It makes easier to see who is envolved in the project and what is being done in that exact moment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a complete tool for small and medium businesses. You will gain some time because it's easy to organize everything inside Monday.com. The clean visual makes everything easy to find and the live updates on tracking time can show when a task is being developed without bothering the co worker who is responsible for it.
There is no comparison with others platforms that we used, our work life is a lot easier now.
