What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has enabled our team to communicate changes with various projects across our entire organization, spreading across three states. Of all project management vendors we've tried before, Monday.com is by far the most user-friendly and easy on the eyes. The reminders and update notifications and invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love the ability to join projects together without having to recreate them. There are times when two projects may evolve into a more significant issue. This is the only suggestion I would have thus far. We are pretty pleased with Monday.com and the features offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Monday.com, we utilized Microsoft Excel to store and share data with our organization. The spreadsheet became so cumbersome and difficult to manage. Monday.com relieved all of these issues. We're able to assign tasks, keep track of notes, and even store documents within one comprehensive database.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Monday.com is customizable to fit a variety of needs. Be sure to consult with their advisors to ensure you're utilizing the software to benefit your team the most.
Exceptional organization platform
What do you like best about the product?
I simply love how easy it is to organize all of the documents between various projects. And I love that I can easily connect to Slack, to google doc, to word, and to email through Monday
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a fan of the constant emails I get sent with updates. I am on top of my work, so I do not need an additional email telling me about progress
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great organizational tool and it is so easy to keep track of progress on various projects, to communicate with my co-workers, and to have ti all in one space.

It is extremely easy to use and well organized.

There is nothing I dislike about monday.com!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday solves the communication problem between my co-workers and me. It is easy to see what has been completed on a project and what still needs work. It is also quite simple to find my assigned tasks and work on them. With monday, I don't need to send as many emails, I can just tag a coworker in an update.
Organized, User-Friendly, sometimes a little tricky
What do you like best about the product?
One thing my team really appreciates is how Monday.com allows us to breakdown bigger projects into smaller assignments, and subtasks. It’s nice to see each step laid out on a timeline—knowing what’s due and when helps us avoid last-minute stress. The calendar view for my workload is also super practical because it shows all my tasks for the week. This way, I know when things are piling up and can plan accordingly, or work with my team when I'm overloaded so we can meet deadline and manage client's expectations.
The automations are another solid feature. We’ve set up automations for recurring tasks, like weekly social posts, so they’re ready to go without us needing to create them everytime. It’s a small thing, but it saves time and keeps everything moving along.

What do you dislike about the product?
Monday.com does have a few quirks. Sometimes tasks don’t show up in my workload unless I “favorite” the workspaces they were created in – which isn't very intuitive.
Also, it can be tough to keep up with all the new feature rollouts and figure out what will actually help us. It’s a little tricky to know if we’re getting the best out of the platform with all the updates.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With monday.com, I'm able to break down larger assignments into smaller subtasks means I can start working on things well ahead of their final deadlines. It lets me chip away at tasks over time, making it all feel much more manageable. As I've learned, it's easy to miss something until it pops up on the due date, which results in me scrambling to finish. With subtasks, projects stay on my radar from start to finish, helping me manage my time better and avoid a last-minute crunch.

Learn how to use automations and how to assign tasks to others using "deadline mode" so that they will show up in a person's work. Those are the two trickiest things with Monday so it's important to ensure you have a firm understanding of how to do those things.
Monday is a clean, easy to learn tool, and I've been using it for about 2 years now
What do you like best about the product?
It has a lot of tools and ways of displaying information and an interface that lets the content of my company take the spotlight. I've used other platforms before, but I always end up confused by their layout.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand why Monday has a paid version, but it should apply only to companies. Solo professionals should be encouraged to use the platform without having to spend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am much more organized, and by consequence, the jobs get done quicker. Also, my company's clients can benefit from the tool by sharing boards with us and keeping track of their projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It would be best to use the different tracking tools, monitors and charts, as they are extremely helpful. I still forget to use them from time to time, but when I do, my work gets much more organized.

What do you like best about the product?
The upside of using Monday.com are all of the automations you can set up! This ranges from internal tasks to external items that you need uploaded to Monday.com to keep track of. They make tracking items & processes easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of Monday.com is that it's hard to get a grasp of at first. There's A LOT going on. This can make it intimidating for new users. Maybe having some kind of pointers (ykno, like Clippy but less annoying!) within the app would help? Not really sure of a way to solve this, honestly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving so many problems by using Monday.com! I'm able to track custom orders for my small business and set all kinds of automations there. As for my day job, I'm able to see everything very clearly that I need to complete, and when I need to have it completed by. Monday.com has been a lifesaver for large-scale, recurring projects!

If you have to track anything at all, this is the app for you. It's highly customizable to fit your needs! It's everything you need in one platform.
Great improvement in organization and productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Using monday.com is easy and helpful for any busy office. Being able to list tasks and important deadlines is priceless. I love being able to assign things to multiple people, that way someone is always giving each task the attention it needs. It's an imperative tool to keep things from falling through the cracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there is anything I have found that I dislike. Everything has worked properly that I have used so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The office runs smoother. We are more on task, and we move through the tasks better. We can ensure that all clients are attended to each day and update each task until they are finished.

Love the labelling feature, and the ease of being able to integrate with other platforms as well as automate to exchange updates and items with other boards.

I can't think of much, although perhaps it would be good to have a calender view of what's happening this week! Sorry if this is already a thing

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is intuitive, so colleagues that are not techy are quickly able to use it and find value. For those of us who want more advanced tools like automation Monday.com provides exceptional opportunities to create customized boards that suit exactly what you need. As a project management professional for 25 years this is the first tool that combines an ability to manage time, resources, costs, scope, changes all in one place, exactly the way I want to do it. More importantly, it has engaged my entire organization and become the go-to tool for non-project management types as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The more complex tools take more time than I would like to figure out. For example, creating a high-level board summarizing multiple other boards (formated the same way) took me most of a day to figure out. The how-to's were not clear and step by step enough to just follow and complete the 1st time. I had to make a number of mistakes before I figured it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Monday.com to keep track of ideas, manage big projects, and hold people accountable for what has been agreed to. Most departments in our organization at least use it for task management. The more complex use it more fully.

The most helpful tool that i have found in monday is the stickers, which a are easy to create and easy to understand where your project is at and how long you've been working on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, in the industry i work for, all features are usefull, there is not one feature that makes its hard or confusing to understand. the tools offered in the platform are honestly very easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The issue of following a project from when its received from clients to invoicing and paument from all of our clientes, we can clearly see each project who is asigned to. the comments feature is also helping us to keep track to what each eam member is working on currently.
