An all around player in the process management market

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of usage and onboarding, the versatility of activities it can help manage and the various integrations available.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is more difficult to manage boards for teams using different time zones/calendars as the configuration is still not customizable enough, and the in depth of usage reports it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A unified platform for sharing projects across different teams. That lead to a quicker SLA and allowed better flow of information.
Customizing boards for a specific use instead of purchasing another tool for that purpose.

Perfect product for managing remote teams

What do you like best about the product?
I found the ability to collaborate on tasks while remote working the most important, and best feature of Monday. With the sudden adjustment of remote working in 2020 I needed something that would ensure I could manage my team and understand their work and Monday was the solution to that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can find building dashboards a little limiting, but that might just be because I don't understand the best practices. It might be helpful to have a level on onboarding when you sign up for Monday. We investigated the software and then signed up for a package rather than be 'sold' it, so having a direct contact would be helpful in setting the software up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem was managing my team and understanding their work schedules without micromanaging. I hate having to be on top of staff, and want them to have ownership so having task lists available really helps to have that overview.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you can get direct support take it! I think that will help you build out boards and dashboard with more ease.

Monday is very important to manage tasks and projects

What do you like best about the product?
I like the layout and the simplicity. It's effortless to create tasks and allocate them to other team members and myself. Personalization is also a critical factor in managing multiple teams with different scopes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more graphic options to measure the resources there I am allocating in some tasks and also a grade of effort besides priority, such as a count of hours in which we expect to do the job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I basically can manage my whole team from anywhere, which is an excellent benefit in a world pandemic and a working from home environment. I could also eliminate the daily meetings and adopt a healthier way to manage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is the best software to manage tasks and teams. The usability is fundamental to gain speed at sprint meetings; the layout is also very friendly to train new collaborators.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Monday.com allows for customization of boards and workflows to manage pretty much any of my organization's processes or procedures. It's most customizable database I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to manually update the automations for each board, particularly when I've already created it for one board, has been a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing personnel onboarding, PTO, and scheduled reminders. The ability to automate team-wide communications allows me to spend less time on menial tasks and preserve brain power for more important tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand your organization's internal and external workflows before creating your workflows in monday.com.

What do you like best about the product?
The automations make it extremely easy to transfer tasks between departments. I also like how you can completely customize your board with tags, colors, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our company heavily relies on Monday.com, and the site crashes and experiences issues more than I thought it would which completely disrupts our workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to have tasks (files, links, who worked on the assignment, etc.) all in one place where the entire company can access it makes things much easier long-term.

Great experience with Monday

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to manage tasks within a small team. We use Monday to manage our social media posts and find it very useful to upload our posts and then allow other members of our team to comment on them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that I do not get notified when someone adds something to Monday unless they tag me. I also wish Monday was a true social media scheduler similar to Later in order to schedule posts directly to our company's social media platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday has allowed us to manage tasks where there are multiple sub-tasks assigned to multiple different people. It makes it easier to see what each person has already completed and what still needs to be done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend using Monday.com for all of your task management needs.

What do you like best about the product?
That you have unlimited options. The boards work amazingly, the categories worked exactly for what I needed them. It's easy to set up and it's easy to organize all your tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like that sometimes it sends an email to everyone in the company and some people do not have anything to do with the notification. I feel like there is a lot of spam with all the emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication. With Monday it's easy to tag and inform someone about something. No need to directly contact everyone, or to send an email. It's simple and easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
To see the tutorials that you get at the beginning. or Youtube tutorials. It's easy to understand how it works than trying to find everything yourself. Tough it is easy to use.

Great for managing all the tasks

What do you like best about the product?
Monday gives you a good interface that provides you with a clear overview of all tasks of the week. We have been using it for almost 4 years and we can't go without it. Over time Monday has improved a lot with extra features such as time indication columns etc. It's good to see that they still want to improve their system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The comment section of a task can sometimes bug a bit. The interface stucks in loading for some reason. After a couple refreshes it eventually loads the comment section of a task, but I hope this will be fixed soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Monday, employee management has become a lot easier. In one clear interface, I can see who is busy with which task and what tasks still need to be done. Great for teams with up to 10 people. Bigger teams can maybe get a bit unorganized.

Try, and you will find out it really helps you with managing your employees

The BEST task management system!

What do you like best about the product?
As small boutique company we've tried more than 5 different platforms for task management and Monday.com is the best one so far. We've been using monday for a few years now I think and I don't see us switching to another platform. Extremely easy to manage sub-contractors and even client projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that can be quite intimidating (not a bad thing, necessarily) is the amount of intergrations and automations. It can be tricky to set up at first and less experienced users can have a hard time with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com helps us manage day-to-day tasks within the company, as well as client projects. We also use it as a content planner, project collabration, client pitching, etc. We even create complex matrix boards for market research that we do.

What do you like best about the product?
I love to personalize each board with a unique filter, box, and status.
It keeps me organized, and I love the reminders I get every time there's something issued.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a few months to get used to the platform entirely.
There are a lot of possibilities, and you have to spend some time on the platform to be comfortable with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It takes less time to make my follow-up and know-how our team project is going.
You can also assign the task to a coworker, and it will pop directly to their board.
