THE BEST TOOL EVER! Makes such a big difference in productivity, workload management, and processes.
What do you like best about the product?
EVERYTHING! Our productivity is way way up. I am so enthusiastic about Monday that if I ever decided to change industries, I would want to work for them. I have used many software tools in the past and none compare. MONDAY IS AWESOME!
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take a bit of time to get the logic and flow worked out to be very efficient but, it is totally customizable for your specific use case which is amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to operate off of multiple project management tools like BaseCamp and so many Excel sheets that would get conflicted from multiple users or never updated or used. Monday has replaced all of those.

TRY IT! It will change your life. There are endless applications for this software.

More time to do other tasks, less to worry about.
What do you like best about the product?
Its hard to just point one thing so I would like to call many of the best this platform can offer. First, I love to use the dark theme, I always use it, on both my laptop and cellphone. I also like that even if Im busy, I receive emails about whats going on and I can easily catch up when Im free again.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know that there's no perfect program but it could help that we get hte chance to customize our own automations depending of our needs. Actually the available automations are premade, most of them looks like they were created to fit most of our interest, but would be an awesome idea if we had the option to make custom edits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work with merchant's vessels. Every day We have an extensive list of boats to attend, we usually used google sheets to organize their ETA, ETB, and ETD, the name of the vessel, agency, and such, and we had to change the details over the day manually. Now with Monday, we could program it to do most of the manual part.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
What is true is that you must understand how to program your tasks, but after learning, everything should be easier to do. Consider that you are learning a small Programmation language when using this tool,
Great organizational tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has many qualities. I like how organized and detailed you can get, as long as you use the system correctly. In addition, the best part is being able to share boards with your peers. We quickly add line items and divide them into categories. I like how flexible the site is, and how specific you can get by adding different labels, colors, and types.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not directly linked with Monday.com, but I dislike the most is reminding myself to update the board as jobs come in. Monday.com itself is a great tool, the key is staying on top of things, updating items, adding and properly assigning those items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team communication and updates are easily shared across teams. We're saving time by not having pointless meetings on updates. In addition, as long as everything is added to the boards and are well kept, everyone is informed of what's going on at all times. It serves not only as an organizational tool but as a project tracking or to-do-list tracking. Serves as reminders to yourself, and to the team.
Keeping You and Your Team on Task
What do you like best about the product?
Monday keeps me on track day-to-day. Everyone now has accountability and the complete resources to tackle all tasks assigned. Sharing files is also a great asset to the app. Any remote workers can easily pick up where they left off from their office and home. Our Communication Coordinators and Directors now have the ability to search for tasks and view the time it takes to complete those tasks. They are also able to show an overall task list to upper management when scheduling and planning future events. This can come in handly for future raises and requesting additional employees to the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sub-tasks still appear hidden and is easily overlooked. Can no longer find dashboard easily. Wish there was a generic Generate Report Button. If there already is one, I haven't located it yet. Creating forms is not as user-friendly and isn't fluid (as it has to match the columns within the task). Expanding the number of filters within the dashboard features may help. The app doesn't seem to update tasks as quickly on an ipad 11 Pro 2021. It takes some time to refresh causing me to turn to my iPhone 11 for quicker referencing during weekely meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday helps keep all members on the same page. Members are able to search for tasks and reference as needed. Keeping time is also a great asset!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're in education, consider similar columns for general reporting and split boards by school year and semesters.
I don't like Mondays- it is true!...but I love Monday.com!
What do you like best about the product?
functionality, and ongoing upgrading of the Platform, Amazon-Esque customer service, and the fact that due to Monday automations- 5 men job now has become 1 man job :-))
What do you dislike about the product?
it would be great if bulk-uploads of items were possible, as well as more color-coding functionality of the boards and groups (not statues).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to its functionality- I now can easily keep track of all deadlines, expiry dates, and more; it simply saves me a tonne of time, stresses and worries!

if you want to save time following up on your daily routines regardless of your company size- Monday will help you immensely!
The perfect team work platform
What do you like best about the product?
Clear layouts, intuitive streams, ability to keep track of my own and team members' workflows. It makes managing projects much easier, cleaner, and organized. Gives you the ability to manages unlimited amounts of projects in an organized fashion, and layout clear road maps for future and current projects along with their deadlines, and need-by dates. It pretty much makes messy email threads obsolete and uneccesery.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can feel cluttered at times, takes a little time to figure out all the quirks and features. Stepping in can feel daunting, but as you use it becomes easier, clearer, and intuitive. The search feature can feel slow and clumsy at times, but that just might be amount of projects we have going.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowing where in the pipeline projects are holding, knowing who is working on what, and when. Being able to see when people see your updates and respond in-stream. So updates and requested don't get lost or confused in email streams or slack threads.

If you have a team and lots of projects, this software is for you.
This Is An Excellent Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
We really like the daily reminders that we receive as it allows us to stay ahead of deadlines and allows us to plan our day accordingly. Also, we like the customization that allows us to create our own work categories. We also like that we can view it on a daily basis and get an accurate snapshot of our day, week or month. This allows us to allocate resources accordingly and minimizes issues that can arise from a lack of planning. Finally, I like that, as the administrator, I can review each team member's work and get ahead of any upcoming deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
While we are very pleased with this tool, there are a few small suggestions I would like to see to improve an excellent product.
Currently, we are unable to share our project and task list with members of senior management without providing them with a paid subscription. We would like the ability to give them some type of access that would allow them to review our projects without making them full members. I don't think that they would require full membership.
Also, if we cannot provide a "read only" membership to senior management, I would like the ability to print out a weekly snapshot that can be handed out in meetings. This would allow us to give all meeting attendees a copy of our project list.

Because of this tool, there are far fewer tasks "falling through the cracks" as we have reminders set up and each of us are aware of all deadlines. We have the ability to plan our work and work our plan, allowing for those circumstances when unplanned work pops up. We can now address that work without disruptions to our project plans. Because of this, there is better communication among our department and between our department and senior management. In addition, she has the ability to let me know when she doesn't have the bandwidth to meet a particular deadline, giving me the ability to assist her in that task or project. It also gives us the ability to deal with "fires" that pop up from time to time with minimal disruption.
Also, I showed our project and task list to senior management and they were very pleased with our use of the tool. They were unaware of the number of projects that we were working on and the number of deadlines we are managing successfully. That awareness has proven the value of our department to the overall organization.

I would tell someone that is deciding on a project management tool to seriously consider monday. It is a cost-effective, comprehensive project management tool that allows for excellent deadline management and increases the communication among team members. Given its degree of customization, it is an excellent tool for teams of all sizes. If utilized properly, it is an essential tool that is an excellent investment for all organizations.
Simple Build, Easy Automations, Time Saver
What do you like best about the product?
Once I set up the automation, my team can efficiently work through the project process and shave hours off of our project management. The workflow is straightforward to read, and the reports are an excellent one look took that we used daily to track our progress, areas of improvement, and training areas that we can improve upon.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were an option with just two seats rather than having a minimum of 1 or 3. I also wish there was a discount for first-time users that wasn't just an annual discount. We are delighted, but I never like to commit to an entire year until we have had a least 6 months of testing out software to ensure that it will work for the long term, not just temporary solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am automating the onboarding process of new agents and helping to manage and track our recruiting efforts. The dashboards are an easy way to report our progress or hold-ups. I like that they are not just informative but also pretty to look at. We use analytics to track our close ratio so that we know when current agents need more support.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're not familiar with automation, this program makes it very easy and has plenty of youtube videos to help you out. Or if you need it, their support is fantastic and is more than willing to help you set up your workflows.
Monday.com Has Made Me Weirdly Passionate About Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com allows me to track and customize everything so that I'm always on top of projects. It's easy to use and enables me to back up files relating to each project so that everything's in one place. I always have an overhead view of everything going on in our department.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the platform allowed me to format items within the text sections (i.e. italicizing or bolding words as needed). I also wish I could add hyperlinks, as this would be extremely helpful. The platform currently allows you to add one link per line item, but I often have projects in which I need to add a number of links, and just allowing me to add hyperlinks to the "long text" box would allow me to cleanly add this information in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to get an overhead view of everything that's going on with our department. What are we working on, and what are our next steps? It gives us a better idea of what each client works on us with and allows us to anticipate their needs better, and make suggestions as to what projects might be best for accomplishing their goals. We spend less time looking up information on projects and next steps. It allows us to manage our freelance teams better.
Excellent product
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and visual nature of the platform are very appealing. I like the lama farm a lot. It's a fun dashboard feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, all the features are a bit overwhelming, and to most effectively use them all would take a fair amount of time to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great way to track information about project goals and progress with a team. It's easy to use with team members inside or outside your orgnaization.

This is a great program. If you want to get the most out of it, do a corporate setup and have them build out what you need most.
