Monday.com helps me keep my international team together!

What do you like best about the product?
Project boards and chat threads for each activity; ability to maintain chat threads on each activity and share links there. Ability to tag other users so that no one misses any messages. Ability to set up recurring automations. Also, the app sends an email to every person tagged when you are tagged in a chat thread. Very helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's pricey compared to similar apps. But worth it! When I researched various apps, the functionality and easy user interface of monday.com made it worth the extra money to me, even though it is pretty expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use monday.com to help my international team communicate and keep track of project status. Our team works closely together and we kick work back and forth across countries, time zones, and states. Monday.com helps us keep it all organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure you know who you want to use it and what specifically you will track on an ongoing basis. Without these things, you're wasting money. Keep up with it; it will save you time, hassle, and aggravation in the long run. Great app!

What do you like best about the product?
When you have several clients, Monday is perfect for organizing them any way you wish. By doing this, I can find who and what I need super fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when I change items in a column, it doesn't save, and I have to go back and do it again. It doesn't often happen, though, thankfully.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time is always a problem, and not having a lot of it, using the search feature makes it super fast and saves me time. The benefit of the saved time makes me get my other work done quickly and efficiently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would implore you to use Monday if you want your business to be completely organized.

Easy to Use, Highly Recommend

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it has a clear view of each week's workload, that my team can work on different projects but still have oversight as to what each member is doing. Being able to change the status and create a unique status to my team is helpful as their manager, so I don't need to ask them "where are you on this?" Within each task, it's easy for my team to communicate by tagging one and other, and you can see the clear progression as to where the project started and how it's evolving.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike, and it's very minor is the fact that I can't have the same task be put in multiple weeks. So if the due date is Arpil 30, it will only appear in week of April 30th. However I may want my team to work on it all 4 weeks of April- well they would have to check the very bottom of April to see the task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization and workload distribution have been the biggest issues Monday has solved. Basically, we live by "if it's not written on Monday, the project doesn't exist". It streamlined our entire process for us.

Easy to use for project management

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can create shareable boards for clients outside my organization. If I have a new client, I can easily create a new board and share just the specifics they need to see with them. I like that they can come back to the link and it changes with every update I do within it without notifying them of each change. My clients can go into Monday.com and create tasks for me with their high level asks and we have automations set up so that the tasks are automatically due within 2 days.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning to set up the conditions for automation was tricky at first. I found that I had to rely on a lot of the tutorials online to figure out how to set then up proprly. Creating tasks that were weekly and conditional to the first one being completed was the hardest and I spent a lot of time testing the tasks and then redoing the automations. Also when teaching a new team member how to do the same was difficult as well. When clients wre at first assigning tasks to me, it was difficult because they didn't want to take the time to assign a due date. Because I work off my main task list that is due each day, and it goes by the due date, I was missing out on tasks they had assigned as they were never showing up in my task list without a due date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it as a way to keep track of every email I send as well as providing updates to each client within Monday.com. I love that I can color coordinate as well as make labels and tags. It is simple and easy to use. Myself or my clients never need to wonder what the status of a project of ask is, as we can all easily refer to the different boards and see updates in real time.

A strong multiuser organizational tool for projects

What do you like best about the product?
Monday provides a helpful framework and timely updates for multiuser projects. The real-time and multi-location nature of the modern workforce combines nicely with its feature-set. It's nice to see a breakdown of tasks, who they have been assigned to, and their status in one place. I also like that we can switch from task-list to Gantt-Chart view in just a few clicks, but my favorite part is that an assignee can mark a task as 'stuck', signalling that they need some assistance in order to maintain their momentum.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a certain mindset that will excel at using monday.com. If you've been managing projects via an excel spreadsheet, this will level-up your game. Immediate answers can sometimes take a little digging to unearth -- a minor annoyance, but something to be aware of. Similarly, monday has a large collection of data-types and display modes. While it's important to be feature-complete, the added complexity can feel overwhelming at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a multiuser, real-time project-management solution that would eliminiate status-meetings. Monday has filled that need nicely. We now have more time to actually work on projects, and we always know where the blockages are and can address them immediately.

Great tool for collaborating!

What do you like best about the product?
It's a central spot for project tracking, communication, updates, etc. Setting up new baords, assigning people to tasks, tracking progress is all done seamlessly. It's very user friendly which helps with our staff who aren't as computer savvy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the integrations a little hard to work with, but once you get past the learning curve, it makes updating projects and boards so much easier. Some of the automation features need some updating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a company with employees across Canada that uses Monday.com to track projects. It helps keep everyone up to date with the latest updates and issues. Before Monday.com, we were sending numerous emails back and forth asking for updates. A lot of the time the updates would be delayed becuase everyone was traveling but Monday.com and the mobile app made it easy to stay on top of the updates without having to reach out to the person in charge of the project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great, easy-to-use tool. Even users who aren't very computer savvy can learn how to use this. The mobile app is great for updating meeting notes, project completions, and updates on the go. It has really helped with our communication and keeping everyone up-to-date and on the same page.

The best platform

What do you like best about the product?
The facility of making the boards and share with our team, windows software, easy template making, agility in taks edition, automations can send us a email when a task is finshed, and read only link to non users see the boards. Automations is very simple and guided setup, and very important to the team be updated in all boards. The file upload is perfect, we can put the updated files of projects (in this case we use for project management) and the another members of the team can edit an re-upload, with the edit historic we can see what the updates in files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only our team can edit the boards;our clients not we only can see the boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday is the best tool for the project management team; we gain time when we centralized the information on boards.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Monday is the best platform, the costs is low, beacause the features are amazing, is so much simple use this system, in browser or in windows software and android app, and the team integration is very simple, as the setup of boards, accounts, and guest visualization, the cost returns shortly, because the work time to search informations is lowest than searching files in windows or ms project, and the GANTT incorporated is very usuable, gaining more time, because we dont need make more project plans, and at when the tasks is completed, or changed, the gantt updates automatically. The platform is best than one note and tasks on our company, we use monday for project management.

A nifty tool with a lot of potential

What do you like best about the product?
For a start, Monday.com has a great user interface. It is a breeze to use and finding different workspaces is really easy with the quick search.

The layout is really simple and intuitive. Boards can be grouped into folders. This makes organization that much easier. Creating boards is great too! You can use templates and get started very quickly. Each board can then have items. For our workflow, the boards have made organization simpler and it's easy to get a quick overview of where items are in the pipeline.

Automations have eliminated a lot of copy-pasting and manual labor. Once set up, it is just one click to create an item with all the necessary sub-items and tasks. This really is the best feature of Monday.com.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on the size of the board, things can slow down at times. This is particularly annoying when you are scrolling across a big board. You would think that applying a filter to reduce the size of the content displayed would help, but it doesn't. There is an annoying sluggishness at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem would be cross-team work collaboration. Our teams are classified based on the specific tasks they do. For us, creating a work item creates multiple different but relevant items onto team-specific boards. Furthermore, the automation makes it so that as the work item progresses and updates are made, the team next expected to take over also sees these changes and has updates on their own boards as well. This has made balancing work a lot easier.

Monday.com also acts as our central management system. Administrative tasks such as applying for leaves or lunch reimbursements have been made much simple thanks to the monday.com forms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool will certainly be a great value add to you and your company. It is easier to use than most tools and training your workforce will not require a lot of effort.

Awesome tool to organize your day

What do you like best about the product?
You can adapt different templates to your projects, depending on your needs. You can create as many as you like and share them with your teammates. It is perfect to organize your work and pending tasks, add comments and due dates. And what I like the most, is that you can export your tables into CSV files and take them where you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe I don't know how this is done. But on the same board, I'd like to make independent tables, with different values from one another. Nothing more, anything else is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to assign tasks, monitor them, and evaluate results. We are able to see clearly our data, web analytics, and social media planning. It is great for digital marketers, developers, and the sales team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is easy to start using Monday. Although I recommend doing the short tutorial to see the wide options it brings and how can you adapt them to your daily day life.

What do you like best about the product?
The new Gantt chart feature is a great addition, as is accurate dependency mapping. It's also great to be able to give team members viewer access for free.

It's great to give team the opportunity to see all the elements that bring a project together and make sure everyone can see all the steps and parts of a project.

I like having my own to do list in the platform as well as the project management boards. It allows me to keep all my actions in one place and not having to cross multiple platforms a lot in the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to see all tasks assigned to me in one view so I do not have to switch between multiple boards all the time. Would be great to have a dashboard about which tasks had been assigned to me across all the boards - even just as a snapshoyt of what I have to do.
More personalisation of the automations.
Better sort functionality - sort by done date within a group.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team transparency and tracking activities and decisions.
It's really good to have a decision log and a record from meetings and a single place where all the information sits. It also serves as a meeting agenda so we can work through all the items.

Good accountability and view of how a project is progressing.
