The core of our project management and workflows
What do you like best about the product?
Monday works like a spreadsheet but in the cloud. That makes it perfect for collaboration with team members and third parties (like my accountant). It prevents multiple versions of documents and mistakes. It is very user-friendly but still advanced. The UX is very friendly and it gives you the opportunity to build boards based on your needs. Also, the dashboard option is usefull to get a quick overview of all your data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The prices depend on the number of users. You pay the same for 1-5 users. That means that if I have five users and add one more, I have to pay for an additional five users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem I'm solving is to keep and manage all different projects for clients. I'm using templates to standardize the work processes to provide a consistent delivarabel. Also, we have to keep track of time spent on hour projects, and with time tracking, this is easy, without the need for an extra tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make a testing environment to get to know all the features. Because Monday launches new features regularly, it allows you to test without touching your current data.

A dream come true for teams - simple and customizable.
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is integrated in a way that just makes sense. It's very intuitive, not clunky, and is easy for teams to customize to their needs and ways of working.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints so far. There was a slight learning curve, but I find that to be the case with any platform. There have been some glitches and outages lately so that is a bummer when it goes down for the whole team for hours at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With our team being entirely remote and having so many players, it was essential to have a single location for all of our project planning - Monday delivered in spades.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dig into the automation, and don't be afraid to scrap a board and start again.

Great Project Management for Small Business
What do you like best about the product?
I have a team of 10 people that I have to give assignments out to and we're all remote which makes checking in difficult. Monday allows all communication in one place, as people come and go from a project, there is an easy tracking way.
I also love the ease to add projects, upload, etc. It's all super easy and easy to onboard with their helpful videos. It's one part that never has more questions, team members easily become part of the team for it.

What do you dislike about the product?
They had one feature I miss which showed all the projects on the way to completion and the % done as they marked done. That was really helpful because I was able to see the progress the team was making on the project as a whole and not have to scroll up on every task and project. Overall though, I think the customization options are really great and I can't think of anything else it's missing. I also miss the time tracking sum at the bottom so I could see how much time had been spent in total.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to manage my entire team from one place. I'm able to quickly review every person's assignment, every client, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive design and number of options for customization. We can add guests and new team members with little to no training, making it even more efficient for onboarding. There is virtually no learning curve, and if you have questions, they have top-tier support in terms of knowledge base, forums, and customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app and dashboard can be a little buggy, and I mean just a little compared to all its capabilities. Their development team is always working on and releasing new updates (which is great!), but sometimes they are premature. Also, we used to get an educational discount, but they discontinued that, which is a budget bummer. Great value anyway.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're a small web/marketing team at a community college with a lot to manage, and this tool allows us to organize and track a wide variety of projects with ease. We vetted several tools before choosing Monday.com (then dapulse) in 2017 and haven't looked back. We can't imagine working without now, especially on WFH days.

I can't think of any downsides to Monday.

I love the automated reminders so I never miss a deadline.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I had a better solution when one subitem is completed but the rest aren't. I wish it dropped off or something. It's otherwise hard to tell what is still in progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It shows where my team's time is going, and helps us remember projects to resurrect from previous years. I've realized the benefit of auto emails and shared information.
Monday.com makes Monday and everyday work better for me.

I like the ease of use the best. It is very user-friendly. It's easy to view and track items and share information with all your stakeholders.

At first, we were unable to add in the Gant chart, but now we can. I need to attend the training to get up to speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were trying to solve for a simpler project management solution for project tracking and due dates and the sharing of info with stakeholders than the current tool, which was difficult to use and learn.

It is an easy to use PM tool.
Organized platform with many customizable possibilities
What do you like best about the product?
I like how customizable and easy it is to use. I also like how the boards can be organized in many different ways. The dashboard feature is also great - we have embedded our BI tool in there. We keep discovering so many capabilities of the platform, which is always interesting to add.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that is kind of annoying is that sometimes an option is there, but then you realize it's for a higher tier - which is not always worth upgrading for one feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are keeping track of many lists, contacts and procedures in our workspace. In addition, we are using a template for our sales pipeline, which is why we chose this product. It is very helpful that the pipeline connects back to our contacts board. The automation is key for our use of the product - setting that up for users that might not be very tech savvy has been helpful to the ease of use and streamlining our process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would try it out as it's straightforward to implement and to roll out. They have regular webinars and many help videos that cover anything you might want to implement. There is also a community forum that is helpful for admins. It takes a bit of time to set up, but it's worth it to get a system in place and you'll get a lot out of it after it's being used optimally.
