Sage > Quickbooks
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct feels like a light program compared to the bloat of Quickbooks. It's so great being able to simply open browser tabs to access. So speedy and efficient. Real-time dashboards. Implementation is amazing, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage costs way too much. The price point for a small business is not very competitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is automating AP so I don't waste so much time on it anymore.
Great for groups, too many glitches
What do you like best about the product?
I find Intacct is very intuitive to use for day to day activities, and I like the way it is fairly easy to run trial balances and then drill into individual accounts and transactions. It is also brilliant that you can have many tabs open at once which is useful as a management accountant or Finance person to reconcile things without losing your trail of thought. Sage Intacct is also brilliant for controlling ledgers as each module can be closed individually, which isn't possible in some systems such as Priority.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the custom reporting can be done in lots of detail, it is often difficult to get a simple report quickly. We have gotten around this as a business by using an excel plug in that pulls our sage information out of sage and reporting outside of sage. I also find it difficult to upload journals as the error messages received are often non-descriptive. I find bank reconciliations aren't as intuitive as QBO advanced online banking and that sometimes I find myself spending a long time on reconciliations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct helps us consolidate group accounts. FP&A in Intacct is good for our business as there are many dimensions for us to bucket costs, for instance we have to report costs and revenue by customer, project, division etc. so reporting with just a nominal structure isn't enough, this is where Intacct is a great tool for us to report in various guises. One problem we have as an accounts team is the need to amend journals after the initial posting without reversing a full journal upload and reposting, Intacct solves this for both journals and invoices as they are easy to edit and maintain an audit trail.
Strong accounting platform with useful automation!
What do you like best about the product?
The automation saves a lot of time especially for recurring entries and consolidations. The reporting is flexible once you learn it and dashboards give a clear view of financial health. I also like that it is cloud based so I can access it from anywhere without relying on a VPN.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface feels outdated in some areas and navigation can be clunky for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us handle multi entity accounting which used to take hours of manual work. Now consolidations and approvals are smoother and I don’t need to maintain multiple spreadsheets. It reduces errors and makes month end close faste.
Sage Intacct has helped reduce the time it take to complete tasks.
What do you like best about the product?
Helps save time in the mechanical part of the task allowing for more time to complete a higher level of review on the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time it takes to review AP items to select for payment. Not enough information available on the bill analysis report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Construction Management has helped stay more organized on the completion of the work as well as tracking the assets making it easy to put them into service when the job is completed.

easy accessable and user friendly, detailed reports, attachments andwhen we post vendor or customer details in subledger it will be automatically comes in GL as well so we can get real time report

Easily accessible, User friendly, Detailed reports, we can attach the supportings for the entries for future reference.
The best accounting software I have used
What do you like best about the product?
I love how everything is simplified and accessible. You can do a lot of things that in other sofwares you cannot do. It makes daily tasks as well as month end tasks very quick, especially with some automation features it has introduced for bank reconciliation.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isnt anything I dislike. I always see they keep adding and improving things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accounting and revenue
The software is incredibly user friendly and easy to navigate.
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how simple it is to print reports and how easy it is to navigate through the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I am unable to make certain changes when I make a minor mistake with billing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keep all of our projects and budgets all in one place.
Sage Intacct - For everyday use
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Sage Intacct is very user friendly. All the menus are very easy to comprehend. It is not very difficult to navigate the software. The menus are very organized, and they complement the process flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any dislike about Sage Intacct, maybe a recommendation. Every time we load on a child view, the data will reload on the next tab. Also, for the General Ledger view, I can recommend highlighting the total amounts in presentation view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to summarized data and generate reports very quick. In accounting, having a report on time is one of our main goals. In Sage Intacct, after we encoded all the data, we can generate many reports as we like. It saves us time to do the report manually. With the help of Sage Intacct, we have the ease of having a correct report on time.
Review of Sage Intacct Software
What do you like best about the product?
Our company uses Sage Intacct primarily for managing time cards, and overall, the experience has been positive. One feature I find especially useful is the ability to duplicate previous time cards—this saves time and reduces repetitive data entry. Additionally, the record search functionality makes it easy to generate reports based on my logged hours, which helps with tracking productivity and project billing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface isn’t the most user-friendly since it takes a while to figure out where everything is. Some tasks feel more complicated than they need to be, with too many steps to complete simple actions. I also wish there were more flexibility in customizing time card views and reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct helps streamline how we manage time cards and financial records. Before using it, tracking hours and generating reports was a manual, time-consuming process.
