Move fast with developments and enhancement
What do you like best about the product?
Upside - Its user friendly and have potential to become a leading financial app in the industry
What do you dislike about the product?
The development in sage is not at a very good pase, the ideas take time to get implemented, some of the idea are useful and need a quick turn around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is helping users to take an informed decision on recording their transactions as it allows an AP user who is processing a PO to make ammendment to the PO via change management and specifically in the construction module its really benefiting us.

Easy to use but needs more consistency across the platform

Very easy to use, good customer support and has a lot of difference features

Not consistent between accounts payable and receivable screens.

Sage is rock solid accounting software

Sage has an easy to understand interface. It also has out of the box integrations with several other high profile software providers that are very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reporting is sort of clunky. Line items don't always sum up to subtotals in various reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage makes our accounting process stress free. We are completely reliant on its easy to use features.
Sage Intacct Makes Things Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is an awesome cloud-based accounting solution that makes managing finances super easy. It’s great for growing businesses because it’s flexible, automates a ton of tasks, and gives you real-time insights into your numbers. I wasn't here for implementation but it seems like it was fairly simple with the help of the folks who onboarded the team. The reporting features are top-notch, and it integrates smoothly with other tools, so everything stays connected. Plus, it saves tons of time by cutting out manual work and reducing errors. With strong security and compliance features, it’s a solid choice for businesses that want better financial control without the hassle. If you’re looking for an easy-to-use, powerful accounting system, Sage Intacct is definitely worth checking out!
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point, I really don't have any complaints about my time using the platform. Like any new tool, it took me a little while to get used to... But that's normal and definitely not a negative. It's simply a fully built out tool with lots to learn.

Sage Intacct helps solve a bunch of accounting headaches, like manual data entry, slow reporting, and disconnected financial systems. It automates key processes, giving real-time insights into finances, which means way less time spent on spreadsheets and more time making smart business decisions. The ability to integrate with other tools keeps everything streamlined, reducing errors and making month-end closes way faster. Overall, it makes financial management smoother, saves time, and helps businesses grow without the usual accounting struggles.

What do you dislike about the product?
The consolidation module. In large group scenario when using the same COA across the group and having multi currencies, there is no way to hold each of the historical FX transactions at a specific rate given you only have one GL account for Share Capital etc.
The consolidation module converts P/L transactions at a monthly avg rate but for a UK GAAP consol the P/L in foreign currencies should be converted at a yearly avg rate, there is no easy work around for this.
There is no easy way to export FX rates out of Sage.

AP Automation and OCR tools
User friendly and easy to pick up and navigate.
What do you like best about the product?
Prepayment module and fixed asset module.
What do you dislike about the product?
Accounts receivable and accounts payable payment module, can be difficult if multiple currencies are used

Problem it solves: user friendly not a lot of training needed or required to use the basic features, saves time and manpower.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to search and create vendors. I like that I can search at the top level.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike in sage. I only don't like that you have to select to get into your companies system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage helps to make my check cut process simple. Selecting the checks is very simple.
User friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like Sage Intacct most for its ease of use. It is very user friendly and almost self-explanatory for a new user. It has features for all of our business needs and its wonderful that they are all in one software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Intacct is that it sometimes is difficult to find a specific thing we are searching for without putting the % in front of what we are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct solves us needing multiple features for our business and accounting and having everything in one place. It makes it much easier for everyone to do their jobs.

It is very helpful for accounting people, it is making our work easier, ease to implement, easy to integrate with customer support which have number of features and frequency to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage Intacct is sometimes slow, and takes little time to show the details in it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct will be useful for accounting purpose, business transaction and it will helpful for knowing the details of the vendor easily.

What do you like best about the product?
Dimensional reporting capabilities and ease of customizing financial reports. Connections via API and / or bank feeds are a must and great time saver for period close. Multi currency and multi entity consolidations easy to work with and setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all reference, memo, doc number, etc visible in GL reports at consolidated level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi entity with multi currency capabilities along with global consolidations. Financial reporting without these features would be a headache without them.
