Great for Multi-entity companies!
What do you like best about the product?
The thing that I like best about Intacct is the ease of using the software. As long as you set up Intacct correctly, everything is straight-forward. Separate entities can have their own set of books but everything is still intertwined if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not experienced anything that I disliked about the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started at a company that used Quickbooks and each entity had a separate login, they had 26 entities. Intercompany JEs took too long and a JE had to be entered in for everything that needed to be allocated. The month end close process took 21 days. Now that we have moved over to Intacct, we can close out within 12 days. There is less work to do when everything is intertwined. Intacct has improved our work-life balance as well. We can login and work from home if needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is the best decision for your company! Go for it!

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to put in internal controls over the accounting functions

With controls come more time consuming administrative functions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Department Internal Controls, work flow rules/upload capabilities for payable and employee expenses, flexibility in reporting, Dashboard reporting

What do you like best about the product?
I love the tabs. Its has my timesheets separate from company details and projects. The timesheets are easy for me to enter and submit. The login is straight forward, although I am just a timesheet user and not from the accounts payable team from my company.
I like that it has features where you can edit an added timesheet and re-submit, before the approval.
Intacct also stores my previous timesheets right from the very beginning, from my date of joining until present.
I also like that we can customize the search options to get the results we want.
The help menu on the right hand side corner is also helpful, and I admit I did not need any assistance as it was simple.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it also showed my information on how much PTO balance I have remaining on my account. I have to get into ADP for this information.
I have never tried the duplicate button to see what that means, I just need to explore what that tab actually does.
The hours in a day balance although shows 8 which is right, but since I am salaried, it would be useful if it showed me as salaried than saying hourly under the calculation method tab.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My focus is limited on Intacct. I only use to log my worked hours, although its a very user-friendly website. Much better from the other systems out there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely tell my friends at MSFT and Amazon, am not sure what they use, but this could give in a better user experience.

What do you like best about the product?
Intacct has increased the efficiency and effectiveness of our finance/accounting team to enable our leaders to make better decisions. Our department heads are empowered to make more decisions to effectively lead and manage their areas of responsibility as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the single entity set-up does not allow drill down to G/L without giving access to the ENTIRE G/L.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The executive/team and Board were not able to get reliable reports in the way they needed to see the data reported to make good decisions. Our department heads set budgets each year, but they were not aware of their budget versus actual status throughout the year to make good decisions.
Financial software that scales as you scale!
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct makes it really easy to integrate with other solutions whether it's custom-built or via third-party integration! Intacct's modern solution allows you to use the GL system as your single source of truth for all financial information!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish custom reporting was a lot easier to create but it's still super possible to create reports!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct helped us move from an outdated process into the cloud. This has enabled us to make tech-forward enhancements along the way moving us to a GL system that's our single data source for financial data.

Intacct is a really great software that scales as your business scales!
Improvements every quarter!
What do you like best about the product?
No website downtime since I've been using Intacct. Site loads fast, no issues with access. Each product release brings new functionality and greater ease of use
What do you dislike about the product?
The drill down capability in reports is lacking- only some fields can be clicked on. I would like more customer info that pops up and is available when you go to Customers.

Great for contract management and billing; we are implementing time tracking which looks phenomenal
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting could be improved. For example, I am unable to customize a standard report, and the Financial reporting module is only applicable to posted entries (and not future entries)

Contract Management, billing, A/R, Deferred revenue; soon to use time tracking

Intacct for Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
Intaccts integration with our outside web based programs is seamless. The ability to condense our general ledger from over 3,000 accounts to under 200 has been a huge bonus. The comprehensive reporting features have allowed us to analyze our financials in a variety of ways. I am also thrilled with the budgeting tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a web based product one issue I have found is mouse navigation issues, when I am attempting to click on a feature towards the top of the page and the menus at the top start dropping down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a smaller accounting department, Intacct has allowed us to streamline and automate so many of our day to day tasks. From scheduling budget reports to imported expense transactions, this program has saved us time and money.
