Sage Intacct:Great Accounting System.
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is a comprehensive accounting application that is easy to use once its configured. The interface is fairly good and user freindly. The application is able to assist in automation of repetitive task such us consolidation,expense management and invoicing. Being an online application it has allowed us to access the application easily from any place. The reporting and dashboard are highly customizable that provides real time insight that support decision making.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing of the application is a bit high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is a great accounting application that is higly customizable. It has enables us to create customized invoices automatically. Technical support has also been very helpful and available .

The ease with which you can edit records.

Accounts Receivable invoice process could be a bit more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy editing of records, good audit trail

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to tag things by project, department, or location. It helps me pull the right report for the right people without building a giant chart of accounts. The dashboards give me a quick view of what’s going on, which makes closing the books much smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some reports are tricky to set up the first time and can take extra effort to customize. Budgeting works fine for simple needs, but for detailed forecasting we sometimes need another tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to spend hours fixing spreadsheets and journals, but now the system handles most of it. Revenue recognition runs by itself, so we don’t need extra staff to keep up with the rules. The AP side makes invoice work faster, and tax integrations save us time during reconciliations. Overall, we close quicker, make fewer mistakes, and share numbers with leadership on time.
A very user friendly and adjustable interface for reporting
What do you like best about the product?
The customer aging reports is quick and easy to pull. Adjusting the filters on the reports allows for multiple ways to display information. The filters and adjustment to the custom reports to filter by certain dimensions allows me to easily pull reports and make them often to meet specific reporting deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fixed asset management was a bit difficult to understand however, the support was helpful in understanding the process and how to use the functions properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Depreciation schedules and properly keeping track of the assets purchased along with the aging for customers and vendors. It helps us keep track of our current liabilities monthly and our income of cash.
A good product for financial reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Financial reporting capabilities with Sage are good and easy to pick up. Reporting usually runs very quickly. Modifying a report is generally easy once the user knows how to do it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting reports to excel leaves something to be desired. Reports get exported to excel with rows that are merged, and need to be manually unmerged for excel formulas to work properly. Editing reports is mostly straightforward, but there are some QOL features that would be helpful. For example, having the ability to be able to delete or add multiple columns to a report at once would be a great feature. Customer support is not as responsive to inquiries as other ERP companies I've used in the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage helps me generate the financial statements I need for my company's monthly financial reviews and external financial partners.
Straightforward program that's easy to use but could use some upgrades
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, sage is pretty easy to navigate with easy labeled tabs and navigation. Once you figure out where everything is, it is simple and clear cut as to where to go for what. I also like that you can create your own favorites bar for shortcuts to your most used resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The whole sage interface could use a facelift, it seems to be a little outdated looking compared to it's competitor programs. It just looks old school. In timesheets, there is a box to the left that you must exit out of the expand the names of the jobs which to me, feels unnecessary, if I'm going to fill out my timesheet I want to see as much of the codes as I can. The search bar in tasks could also be improved upon. When I search exact names, things don't often come up. I would like to see them add a customized dashboard so you can have a prettier and simpler homepage each time you open sage, not updates on their 2025 release or random links.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly use it as part of my company's timesheet coordination.

Sage is a better program than the last program we used.

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct improves the efficiency of payroll services by simplifying data entry and cutting down on manual tasks. Its integration process allows information to transfer seamlessly into the system, which helps reduce errors. The reporting features are robust, and after overcoming the initial learning curve, I find the platform dependable for keeping accurate payroll records and supporting compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting to know Sage Intacct and learning how to use it effectively can take quite a bit of time. Certain customizations add to the overall complexity, making the learning curve even steeper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This solution reduces manual labor and eliminates the need for double entry, making labor tracking more accurate. It also offers scalability to handle high employee turnover and leads to improved reporting.
