What do you like best about the product?
Simple to run and manage. Very easy to integrate with a wide number of clients and other cloud based services. Provides a high level of security. Highly scalable and can be configured for high availability.
What do you dislike about the product?
The requirement to have an outage / downtime when applying patches and minor upgrades.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing a very high volume of file transfers internal and external to the organisation. Managing the security of our environment.

What do you like best about the product?
Axway Managed File Transfer is user-friendly, supports a wide range of protocols, and offers quick, friendly support. It's reliable and efficient, making file transfers seamless and hassle-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
Error debugging with Java is difficult and sometimes we're unable to do it ourselves
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transferring encryted files to partners as well as transferring to/from S3 buckets

Using MFT

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about MFT is the huge choice of features in the product.
There are plenty of file transfer programs such as Filezilla, WinSCP etc... but a lot of these programs are very basic and do not offer the range of features that come with MFT.
What do you dislike about the product?
With all the features that come with MFT, it also adds complexity.
I have raised numerous cases with Axway to get issues fixed because of this complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One problem that it solves is to be able to remove weak ciphers, HMACs and Key Exchanges.
We are able to catalog all client transfers via logs and work out which clients are using these weak protocols.
We then contact the individual clients and ask them to upgrade their protocols.
This is very helpful with our security.

Easy to use and very stable. Monthly patching is now a nice feature

Hard to get additional features added specific to your companies requirements (even when adding them into the Ideas portal).

For us it solved a previous replacement of Moveit and which allows internal users share with external users. allows a secure way to share files.

What do you like best about the product?
Its stability. It rarely goes down or offline. We just leave it to do its thing.

The face we don't utilize half the things it can do

They went to cloud and self hosting. No more patching or updating for me. I personally love that

What do you like best about the product?
It is seemless, easy to configure and managed by Axway team. We can completely rely on Axway team for any patching, upgrades and maintenance. This has saved us lot of time every month.

It is also easy to integrate and we have heavy frequency which Axway handles with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't support folder monitoring which was one of the best features Axway had. Secondly, Axway need to move towards complete HA during schedule maintenance to avoid any downtime.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We send and fetch lot of files as a business. We operate 24/7. Axway's 99.9% uptime and its seemless architecture has benefited us from reducing risk and successfully implemeting our enterprise file transfer. We can gurantee our file delivery with certain SLA within the business.

What do you like best about the product?
Highly scalable and secure when transferring big data and has API management which is very convenient for my clients
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive as my client says. But when I check it out its environment and as a technical person, it's typical like another cloud services
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well it helps my client so, it retains me to have him with this service. So it benefits me a lot

What do you like best about the product?
There's a good documentation for API which will allow me to get control of my MFT from outside SecureTransport
What do you dislike about the product?
Querying Transfer logs is limited and uses lot of database engine if it is querying for several months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is being bused for all our file transfers inbound/outbound our company has and it is proven to offer high security on our transfers.
