What do you like best about the product?
Quick to get set up and running, really enjoy being able to creat custom dashboards for login to get a quick view of what's important.
What do you dislike about the product?
Making feature requests or product change suggestions seem to fall into a black hole. Also not the best way to deploy and update apps compared to tools like Managed Software Center.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlined management - largest meld vendor so works closely with apple. Hopefully if enough customers of Jamf raise concerns that will help Jamf leverage their apple relationship to make improvements.
Jamf Pro is a must for scaling your Mac Infrastructure
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro has been a crucial component to the management of macOS and iOS in our company. What we have been able to do with our lean IT staff is truly a testament to the capabilities of Jamf.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to say here. When we have had issues our account team as well as Jamf support has always been able to assist and even where features may seem lacking Jamf has been receptive to feedback and addressed these needs in product updates and releases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote management and deployment. In a post Covid world we would have been adrift without a rudder without our suite of Jamf products. We have been able to successfully launch entire warehouses of devices globally without bein on site.

So far we didn't experience huge obstacles with the product

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy and logical, but you can also tweak it to do very advanced tasks.it's easy to see that Jamf. Pro is developed by Apple lovers/ users. The replication of commands are second to none.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface needs an update. Especially the Jamf admin and composer tool. Looking forward to device compliance in a better way than the old. Sometimes new features could have a more in depth documentation

Happy customers and happy users. Easy to integrate with other management platforms and giving Apple users in enterprises the tools they need in a hectic an environment
Jamf Pro is a seemly product to assist you in managing an Apple Fleet.
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro is helpful and useful because you can monitor so many things within the console to keep your org safe; with multiple products like Jamf Protect, Jamf Connect, make zero-touch as easy as Sunday morning.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I dislike about Jamf, might be a lack of knowledge on my part because if a device is purchased outside of a DEP retailer, I am not able to "supervise" the device to be able to manage it further.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro is beneficial because it allows us and assists us in remediating end user problems due to Layer 8 issues; being able to send remote remediation is super helpful.
I have had great success with customer service at Jamf.

zero touch deployment. Management of our MacBooks

Downside is devices do not check in as well in Jamf Pro as in Jamf School

It alllows us the ability to let our users be local admins on devices but managerd through policy.

Device management and software distribution
Incredible tool with a learning curve, but a ton of possibilities.
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of use. We're able to deploy all kinds of configurations and policies to fit what our CEO and users need and want out of their machines. It has more options than competitors and offers a ton to IT.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a steep learning curve and while the flexibility is great, I feel like it could make things more streamlined given Jamf's relationship with Apple. Jamf Catalogue is a huge step in the right direction!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our CEO and executives are always recommending ways they want our deployment to be handled, and Jamf is able to deliver what we need when we need it. There's seemingly limitless possibilities.

Makes managing 4000 iPads easy and cost effective.

I wish it was easier to do Home Screen layouts

Jamf makes imaging and deploying devices quick and efficient. The versatilaty of Jamf to customize it to our organization. We have not looked at any other competitors because we already had a Jamf instance.
What do you dislike about the product?
My lack of knowledge in all that Jamf can do. Jamf has a lot of capabilities that we have not tapped into yet. We are still learning about all it has to offer. Thank you

Deploying Macs quickly and efficiently. Jamf helps us be more productive with fewer people. We save a lot of time and clock hours utilizing Jamf. Our performance has increase.
