Unmatched Mac Expertise and Knowledgeable Support
Reviewed on Sep 17, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They know the Mac like no other company I’ve worked with. Now that they've also expanded their offerings with Protect and Security Cloud, it even better (if that's possible).
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind offhand. I've been with them since they were Casper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, the emphasis in our company—like I’m sure it is for many others—is on AI. Jamf helps us keep a close eye on the security side of our approach as we move forward.

Great solution that's built for Apple with solid Security, Compliance and AI Governance capabilities - pricing can be a bit steep, if not utilizing the full platform

What do you like best about the product?
Great solution. I appreciate that Jamf is specifically built for Apple and offers unique features for the Apple ecosystem that other UEM solutions don't, especially around security and compliance. Their authentication and threat protection capabilities integrated into the Jamf platform are really useful, and the newly added AI governance features are quite impressive. It's a solid platform that consolidates other tools and offers a lot of integrations, making IT management of a growing Apple fleet much easier. Jamf also provides a better IT and end-user experience compared to Windows-focused UEM tools and it integrates with Intune as well. Initial setup is pretty easy, which is a nice surprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is a bit steep and it's hard to see the value if you're not using the full platform. Jamf Pro only is what some clients need and have budget for but there is a heavy push to the Jamf platform, which is understandable. There is quite a bit of transactional sales rep behavior at Jamf though and some don't provide much value in terms of ensuring clients are utilizing the full platform, until a few months before the renewal is due. Great progress consolidating the products into a platform but adoption of the full capabilities by some clients has been limited, making it tough for them to see the full value of what Jamf has created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf provides Apple-focused device management, security, compliance, and authentication features, creating a better user experience and easier IT management compared to Windows-focused tools. It consolidates various tools and includes threat protection, identity authentication, and AI governance capabilities.

Seamless Zero-Touch Deployment with Powerful Self Service and Policy Control

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Jamf is its zero-touch deployment through Apple School Manager, which makes onboarding truly seamless.
The platform also caters extremely well to different needs. Jamf School provides an intuitive interface with classroom-focused tools such as the Jamf Teacher app, while Jamf Pro supports more complex enterprise environments with deep scripting, API access, and granular policy management. The Self Service portal is another major highlight, since it lets end users easily access the resources they need.

What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I can't think of anything I dislike about Jamf. It's a great platform :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit for our team is the time we save: zero-touch onboarding that lets us focus on other projects.

Easy to Use, Feature-Rich Blueprints That Feel Like a Game Changer
Reviewed on Sep 11, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is how easy it is to use, along with the features it offers. We’re just starting to use blueprints, and it already feels like it’s going to be a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
With blueprints still kind of a new feature but the scoping and creating groups that have a blueprint installed are lacking
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Software updates via ddm and compliance a very big benefit

Flexible Jamf Pro That Adapts Fast, Backed by Effective Support
Reviewed on Sep 10, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I personally love how flexible Jamf Pro is, we can support multiple departments with wildly different requirements and make changes quickly and effectively while also keeping things the same whenever possible. Any issues we run into, Support is really effective to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI tools are not where we would expect them to be at this point. We've had a couple of AM's this year and they changed without letting us know, we discovered it when we emailed and didn't get a response and followed up and got a bounce back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're in a regulated industry and this helps us maintain compliance across the fleet and speed up audits. Changes are done efficiently and are reliably deployed.

Jamf’s Deep Apple Integration Makes Device Management Effortless
Reviewed on Sep 09, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What stands out most is Jamf's deep integration with the Apple ecosystem. Whether we're deploying new devices, managing applications, enforcing security policies, or troubleshooting issues remotely, Jamf gives us the tools to do it efficiently and consistently across a wide range of customer environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced configurations can be complex to implement initially, particularly when integrating with broader identity, security, and compliance solutions. However, the flexibility and capability of the platform generally outweigh the learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf allows us to remotely deploy, secure, manage, and support Apple devices across multiple customers from a central platform. It reduces manual effort, improves consistency, and helps us deliver a higher level of service to our clients.

Helpful Community, Responsive Support, and a Clean UI with Powerful API Integration
Reviewed on Sep 08, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The knowledgebase and community forums are very helpful and I am often finding a solution to my problems in discussions between other Jamf users. Jamf Support engineers are very responsive and quick to respond. Using the API integration has been great to get the exact information I need from our Jamf instance. Navigating the Jamf server UI is clean and not confusing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of support for certain functions at a site level. ie site level packages, scripts, blueprints, and site-aware API roles. I dislike receiving an AI response when I submit a support ticket to Jamf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralised device management across 146 schools without completely removing agency from the on-site school technicians. Significant cost reduction per year compared to our previous MDM provider.

Instant endpoint updates and an intuitive UI - make Jamf easy to adopt
Reviewed on Sep 08, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The speed at which updates are sent from Jamf to the endpoint device - it is almost instantaneous, which makes publishing and testing changes a lot easier.
Before using Jamf I had no prior experience in it, the UI is intuitive, easy to use and things just work logically. I have been able to train other members of the team in using Jamf, alongside providing them with a Jamf sandbox to test, fail and learn in is another great point.

What do you dislike about the product?
The support could be improved, we recently had an issue where blueprints were not being applied to our endpoints in our sandbox environment. We had to perform a lot of back and forth testing with Jamf, chasing them up and going through various escalations before a fix was found.
As a customer, having to chase up the vendor is frustrating - but also easily fixed.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn't have an MDM prior to Jamf, so being able to deploy Jamf to a previously unmanaged fleet has had a host of benefits, patching up to date, build uniformity, application allow and block lists, CIS level 1 controls, and a whole host more

Effortless Device Management, Excellent Support
Reviewed on Sep 08, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Jamf makes managing our enterprise fleet of iPads, iPhones, Macs, Apple TVs, and Vision Pro easy. Its user interface on the website is intuitive and straightforward, which is a big plus for me. I also value the configuration profiles as they allow me to set configurations on devices that the end user is unable to adjust. Additionally, the ability to provide restrictions and customization, deploy software, and keep software up-to-date efficiently is really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a good bit of product issues that happen, though Jamf does a decent job of identifying and fixing those issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf makes it easy to manage our enterprise fleet by providing restrictions, customization, software deployment, and updates. Configuration profiles help maintain device settings the users can't adjust.
