Robust Features, Complex Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the product configuration functionalities in Conga CPQ. The pricing functionalities are also great, including pricing rules and custom pricing features. There are a lot of features available, and code generation is very helpful. I appreciate the order management and invoice generation as well. The main standout functionalities for me are the product configuration and pricing. Additionally, I like that Conga CPQ has introduced its own platform, which allows for scalability and high performance without limitations. It is particularly beneficial since it is API-driven, enabling customers to integrate and utilize the benefits of all the functionalities easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Conga CPQ is quite a complex product, and it takes some time to learn if you are getting started with your implementation. If you have detailed requirements about products, pricing, and everything, it may take more time to get accustomed. There are some issues, like if you find a bug, it may take some time to get it resolved. The documentation could be improved to be more helpful with more use cases, which would aid end users in defining their use cases. Also, the initial setup wasn't quite easy, as we had to go through required training to understand how it works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Conga CPQ for complex product configuration, regional pricing strategies, and generating quotes. It helps manage orders, invoices, billing, renewals, and approvals, and supports document creation and eSign workflows.

What do you like best about the product?
Conga CPQ is a great product for managing QTC work.
It's robust features like product cataloging, conditional pricing, discounting matrices, etc. are very helpful in our contracting process.

What do you dislike about the product?
It requires product expertise if any customizations are required apart from normal out of the box features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga CPQ is handling all the tasks of proposal creation as well as pricing carts, which enables us a seamless user interface for contracting.
It has many useful features for conditionally setting up the pricing of products and we can separate them out based on different regions. This has helped in multi-regional quoting.

Boosts Revenue with Powerful Configuration, Needs Smoother Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like Conga CPQ's capabilities to configure and price the card efficiently. It's really good at letting us create the product structure, and I appreciate how we can easily associate price lists and items to the product. We can also create constraint rule and manage price rules and metrics effectively for a better pricing strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we face issues while generating documents within Conga CPQ, like read timed out errors or CPU time errors. We expect these kinds of errors could be resolved over time. Also, the initial setup was not easy because we had to migrate from a former CPQ system, which required training and reviewing documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Conga CPQ to increase our overall revenue by configuring and pricing carts efficiently, improving system performance. It boosts efficiency, robustness, and has enhanced our revenue.
Conga CPQ Streamline Process and Strong Support
What do you like best about the product?
Conga CPQ provides various OOTB features. It has amazing product technical support team for excellent customer support. It is easy to implement using configuration. Third party integration is easy with this product and it is compatible with them. It is helping us for daily business requirements and make process smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Conga can focus more on Platform. Conga RLP is in the initial stage as of now, more features can be added in it.

It is helping us in streamline the business process and support is excellent and responding quickly. It helps us to implement complex solutions very easily.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Conga CPQ is flexibility in handling complex configuration, pricing and approval workflows. Since it is built on salesforce platform , it helps sales team to work within a familiar environment while keeping data consistent.Once properly configured, it improves quote accuracy and reduces manual efforts. The customer support they provide is very good and they resolve complex issues in timely manner. Once user are familiar with product , its easy to use for day to day quoting. It can be easily integrated with other external systems as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Conga CPQ is powerful solution, it does come with a learning curve.The initial set up and configuration can be complex and usually require experienced resources.Some part of the user interface could be more intuitive, and troubleshooting can be complex. However, once these challenges are addressed, the platform performs reliably and delivers strong value.

Conga CPQ helps solve the challenge of managing complex product configurations including multi level bundles, complex pricing, discounting in consistent way.It reduces manual quoting, minimizes pricing errors and enforces standarization across sales team. By automating these process within salesforce, it improves efficiency, shortens quote turnaround time and gives better visibility into pricing and deal structures, ultimately helping the sales teamwork efficiently and confidently.

Smooth CPQ Order-to-Asset Flow That Saves Time
What do you like best about the product?
I like CPQ orders and asset creation flow. In CPQ, we can easily generate the new order and activate it. Accordingly, automatically assets are generated and visible on the Account Page what has been sold to the customer.
Apart from this, if we wanted to update existing asset then CPQ's Asset Based ordering operations are really helpful. It allows us to update the existing asset without starting from the scratch which also saves lots of time and give positive customer experience.

What do you dislike about the product?
Getting error sometime in the process which is quite frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga CPQ is big time savior in our quote creation, Pricing, Document generation, approval and asset delivery. It gives lots of useful feature that are really helpful for business.
Streamlines Proposal Automation, User-Friendly Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I mostly like Conga CPQ's user interface. With the CPQ admin, part of Conga CPQ, I can handle multiple tasks like configuring products, creating price list, setting constraint rules, and establishing price metrics and product attribute rules all in one single window. This setup saves significant time by eliminating the need to switch between different windows, which is really convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Upgrading Conga CPQ to a new version was a major concern for us. One of our users mistakenly upgraded, and then when we wanted to revert back to the previous version, we found it impossible. We had to uninstall the current version, which led to losing our entire configuration and data. It required a lot of effort to reinstall and set things up again. Also, the initial setup of Conga CPQ wasn't easy because it was handed over from a third-party implementation. We're still facing challenges with the complex product structure and heavy pricing.

Conga CPQ solves many problems; it automates proposal generation with templates and approval processes, reducing manual intervention.

What do you like best about the product?
Conga CPQ provides a robust experience with its product catalogue capabilities and a seamless eCommerce flow for sales. It has very user friendly UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Conga CPQ doesn’t support a high number of quote lines, which can be an industry-realistic scenario in some cases.

McKesson has several surgical products, and we wanted to centralize them so our salespeople could easily access everything and prepare quotations. Conga CPQ addressed this need by enabling product catalog management.
