Effortless User Log Analysis with Amplitude Analytics
Reviewed on Sep 10, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Amplitude Analytics makes understanding user logs straightforward, even for someone without a background in similar applications. It's easy to search for specific logs and activities, and I know that fetching data to create graphs or integrating it with other software is simple too. I find the research function especially useful for searching and highlighting specific logs and activities. The session replays are another aspect I find really helpful. Overall, the platform is pretty easy to use, and the fact that I could start analyzing logs and activities right after logging in speaks to its user-friendliness.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics to determine account activity, subscription usage, email confirmations, and detect fraudulent behavior. It's straightforward for analyzing user logs even without prior experience, making it easier to understand user trends and activities.

Intuitive, Reliable Real-Time Analytics with Smooth Visuals in Amplitude Analytics
Reviewed on Sep 09, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I think Amplitude Analytics is a really intuitive, easy-to-use tool. The UX feels smooth, the interactions are straightforward, and finding what you need to do is usually fast and simple. The information feels reliable and real time, and I’ve never had performance issues—except occasionally with larger flows that are genuinely quite complex. Creating visuals is also a very smooth experience for both technical and non-technical users, and it gives every member of the team a lot of autonomy when it comes to exploring the company’s data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think one downside is that the number of features can feel a bit overwhelming, and the search bar isn’t very clear for finding them (since it usually suggests visuals or users). Also, it would be great to have a way to see which properties are tied to different events. Either way, these are just small things that would improve the experience, not anything that would make me stop using the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem this solves is making data more accessible to non-technical users, which leaves analysts with more time to focus on deeper analysis instead of constantly running queries for PMs. It also helps with experiment assignments by making the results easier to assess.

Amplitude Analytics Makes Behavioral Insights and Funnel Analysis Fast and Actionable
Reviewed on Sep 01, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
As a Product Analytics II at Earnest, I use Amplitude Analytics to understand how users interact with our digital products and to uncover opportunities to improve the customer experience. I primarily use it to analyze user behavior, explore conversion funnels, monitor key product metrics, and identify where users may be dropping off or experiencing friction.
Amplitude is especially useful for answering product questions quickly, validating hypotheses with behavioral data, and helping product teams make more informed decisions. I also use it to segment users, compare behavior across different groups, and understand how changes to the product impact engagement and conversion over time.

What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved is the learning curve for some of Amplitude’s more advanced features. While the core analytics experience is fairly intuitive, building more complex analyses or understanding exactly how certain metrics and events are defined can sometimes require additional context or documentation.
I’ve also found that as analyses become more complex, the interface can feel a bit crowded, and it isn’t always immediately obvious which approach or visualization is best for answering a particular question. More contextual guidance and clearer explanations within the product would make it easier to move from a business question to the right analysis, especially for less frequent users.
Overall, these are relatively minor friction points rather than major limitations, but improving discoverability and guidance around advanced functionality would make the experience even better.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps solve the challenge of turning large amounts of behavioral data into insights that product teams can actually act on. It allows us to understand how users move through key journeys, where they encounter friction or drop off, and how different segments engage with the product.
For me as a product analyst, the biggest benefit is being able to answer many product questions quickly without needing to build a new analysis from scratch every time. It makes it easier to explore hypotheses, identify trends, measure the impact of product changes, and communicate findings with stakeholders through clear visualizations.
Ultimately, it helps reduce the time between identifying a product question and getting to a data-informed answer, which supports faster and more confident decision-making.

Insightful Analytics, Ideal for Strategic Decisions
Reviewed on Sep 01, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Amplitude Analytics has many prompts and that it actually understands my business. Our business is a bit complicated with many different sectors, and the detail of the prompts gives me confidence on where things actually stand. It helps me see what’s working, where my gaps are, and gives me ideas on how to improve things. The initial setup was easy, and among all the products we've tested, Amplitude Analytics is the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be better if it could run prompts more than once per week in my plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics to see my AI search visibility, understand how my strategies affect it, identify gaps, and get ideas on improvements. It helps me see what's working and gives me confidence on where my business actually stands.

Clean, Neat Interface That’s Easy to Use, but steep learning curve
Reviewed on Sep 01, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very clean and neat, even though I still prefer the previous version of the home screen. I also like that you can create several independent tables and place them across different dashboards, which makes it easier to keep things organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data loads very slowly, and there’s a fairly steep learning curve. Also, the financial data doesn’t seem accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to check our weekly data, and it makes it easy to get a clear overview.

Powerful Built-In Analytics and A/B Testing That Empower Teams
Reviewed on Aug 31, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude has a lot already built in - recognizing useful events on its own and giving users the framework to define the events they need. This can empower teams without extra resources to get the data they need. Since the AB testing and screen-capturing is included, you can use the same metrics across all your analysis at any time. For example, if you want to dive into certain aspects of a test, you can use the flag within an existing chart, or if you forget to define a metric for an AB test upfront, it's no problem - it's all in the vault, so to speak. The AI summaries of AB tests are practical, especially for sharing with management, and so far the AI tooling has been generally helpful, particularly in building charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude is "a lot" - it can be overwhelming at first, and since there are so many possibilities, it can be easy to get something wrong. Sometimes it can also be difficult to discern what is public and what is private - am I overwriting someone's metric or is this just in my space? Speaking of space, there is a lot to navigate and I would argue that the information architecture could be improved. Sometimes it can be difficult to find exactly what you are looking for, even when you've been there before. There are several layers of data types, and it can be difficult to understand how to use them best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude allows us to analyze the customer journey through both the shop and app, while also providing screen capturing for deep-dive analysis and AB testing. Since all work together, we can better refine and confirm our hypotheses.

Intuitive Interface, Powerful User Analytics
Reviewed on Aug 31, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Amplitude Analytics is easy to integrate with our products (both B2C and B2B versions of the platform). Once integrated, it's easy to navigate, allowing us to set up new dashboards and analytics reports with just a few clicks. The intuitive interface makes it easy to use. I also appreciate the dashboard building feature, which simplifies setting up analytics and charts. We find the user cohort functionality valuable for understanding analytics by different user types and customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I definitely feel that Amplitude Analytics could have more analytical capabilities. For instance, I'm really missing some kind of dynamic cohorts. Right now, you need to select those users manually related to a specific domain, and having a type of dynamic cohorts would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics gives me visibility into platform usage, aiding in detailed feature analytics. It's easy to use, integrating and setting up dashboards swiftly. User cohorts help dissect analytics by user types and track campaign performance.

What do you like best about the product?
The Global agent is very useful, I usually use deep research in that it will provide the exact metrics we want.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use the 'Subscribe' button to schedule emails for the created chart, but I'm unable to label the values on that chart. If this facility were available, it would be useful for better understanding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps us understand subscriber behavior and engagement patterns across our multiple news brands, enabling data-driven decisions on retention and conversion strategies.

Intuitive Design and AI-Powered Dashboards That Save Time
Reviewed on Aug 24, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The design is quite intuitive, specially the new AI feature that creates charts/dashboards on the go rather than spending longer times for building the same things. Pricing wise its on a higher end but the quality and the performance justifies it. Good for young startups because of credits specially. Also the chrome plugin is really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall the costing is on a higher side specially for young teams and the AI feature can be refined a little further for creating dashboards specially as saving charts is the first step. So instead of cant be done, it can go the other way round.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analysing the complete funnel and drop off points at different levels that help us pin pointedly identify what needs to be prioritized.
