What do you like best about the product?
I like the MCP feature in Amplitude Analytics. It's great having automations through Claude that automatically bring information into Slack channels. The initial setup of Amplitude Analytics was easy for me.

Effortless Multi-Channel Insights, Minor Table Limitations

    Reviewed on Jul 31, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Amplitude Analytics for its ease of use; you don't need to be a data analyst to easily set it up. I also like the cohort creation feature, which allows us to use data from multiple sources to create broader cohorts that improve our marketing efforts. Amplitude is also more visually appealing and easier to use compared to Tableau, which requires more technical expertise.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the limited number of columns you can have in a table frustrating. I want to be able to see more in one page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics brings in data from multiple sources for a full picture, making it easy even for non-data analysts. It simplifies cohort creation to improve marketing tactics across channels.

Self-serve analytics that lets PMs move fast without engineering

    Reviewed on Jul 27, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The event-based model is the biggest win. As a PM I can build funnels, retention charts, and user segmentation myself without waiting on engineering, which massively speeds up how fast we can answer product questions. The identify() call with derived user properties lets me slice users by tier and behavior cleanly, and session replay has been genuinely useful for spotting exactly where users drop off in a flow. Dashboards are also easy to share with stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Governance is the weak spot. Running events across more than one app exposed how much manual discipline the tracking plan needs to stay clean, and the tooling for enforcing naming conventions across teams could be stronger. Query performance on long lookback windows can drag, and some of the more advanced chart configurations have a real learning curve, so non-analysts on the team struggle to build their own reports without help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gave us real KPI baselines we never had before, things like deposit-to-invest conversion, weekday active users, and error categorization, so decisions stop being guesswork. My approach now is to instrument first and then move the number, and Amplitude is what makes that possible. It's central to how we prioritize the roadmap and how we check whether features we ship actually get used instead of just assuming they do. Having self-serve access to that data means product questions get answered in minutes rather than waiting days on an engineering pull.

    Mobile user actions

    Reviewed on Jul 25, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I use Amplitude Analytics to review user logs, which helps me debug issues because it records every action in the backend. It’s straightforward to troubleshoot since I can quickly see where a user might be getting stuck by looking through Amplitude’s logs. The UI is clean and simple, and I can generate graphs based on events when I need to. I also like how Amplitude clearly separates events and properties, which makes it easier for me to identify and resolve problems. For example, I can click on an event name and immediately see properties like title, CTA, date, and time, which keeps everything clear. We also integrate Amplitude Analytics with our automation framework, and that setup works very nicely. It did take some time at first to understand how everything fits together, but now it feels very simple to use, especially compared to Elastic Search.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Amplitude Analytics takes too long (30 to 60 seconds) to get logs after clicking on the CTA. I wish the logs could be obtained immediately or within 10 seconds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics to log user actions and debug issues more easily. It’s especially helpful when users get stuck, because I can review their actions in the backend and understand what happened.
