Insightful Analytics, But UI Feels Cluttered
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to quickly understand how a feature we have is performing and dig deep into why.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is adding too many things that give little value and cluttering the UI and product offering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding what our users are doing with our product. Without this, we would be unaware of how the features that we have are being used.
Intuitive Dashboards, But Wix Setup Needs Clearer Guidance
What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to use and has a clean, intuitive interface. The dashboards are well designed, and it’s simple to track user behavior and product metrics without much setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an owner, it was a bit confusing to set up the connection in Wix - I had to look for YouTube videos to figure it out. The documentation could be clearer and include a step-by-step guide for this setup. Some instructions in the articles are not very detailed, so it takes extra time to find the right way to connect everything properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps me understand where my users are coming from and how they interact with my product what they click, where they scroll the most, and which parts of the page get the most attention. It provides much deeper behavioral insights compared to Google Analytics, similar to what Yandex Metrica offers.
Versatile Insights with Easy Learning, But Customization Could Improve
What do you like best about the product?
It has versatile functionality and with little learning anyone can extract product insights they want.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the functionality like adding and tracking a new event that was added recently seems hidden. It would be great if the platform could be customised for user base.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we launch new features, Amplitude Analytics help with understanding adoption, analysing usage patterns and identifying bottlenecks. With an agile team like ours, every individual contributor has to think as a product person and Amplitude Analytics helps us do that.
Excellent Analytics & Support, But Pricing Limits Event Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude Analytics offers a wide range of charts, from basic to advanced, that address nearly all the needs you might have for product analytics. In addition, it provides effective data management tools like data alerts—which I find extremely useful—and data governance features that become especially valuable as your product grows in size and complexity. What truly stands out for me, though, is Amplitude’s customer support. Their team consistently provides thoughtful, well-reasoned responses and quickly grasps the issues I’m facing. It’s honestly the best support team I’ve ever encountered.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude Analytics' pricing model is determined by data volume, meaning that the more events you track, the higher the cost. This structure discourages teams from tracking additional events, even though product teams generally want to collect as much data as possible. In our organization, this has become a significant obstacle. We have often had to implement feature flags to control which events are tracked, allowing us to disable certain events if the volume becomes too high. I believe pricing should be based on the number of users instead, so organizations can freely instrument events without constantly worrying about escalating Amplitude costs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics provides valuable insights into user behavior within our mobile apps, which is essential for enhancing our product. We have also used Amplitude to conduct AB tests, helping us optimize various stages of our product.
Easy Dashboard Creation, but Formula Setup Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity to create a dashboard and customize it
What do you dislike about the product?
Formula creation can be unclear (with the integrated AI znd chatgpt this became way better but still I think it should/can be made easier)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking software usage and details to be able to recognize value for our own users
Using amplitude as a developer in a small startup
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is what I regard as the industry standard in terms of analytics for your website. Its ease of implementation, as a developer, is great and the vast number of features it offers make our analytics and coversion analysis really easy which are critical as a small startup.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a technical user I find it relatively easy to use, but some non technical members of my team can have a hard time using and navigating the platform due to the broadness of it. Costs can scale
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool assists us in analyzing our product analytics and understanding user behaviors.
Turn data into direction: My early experience
What do you like best about the product?
Turning raw event data into meaningful stories is what sets this tool apart for me. It's not just about numbers on a dashboard—the visualizations really help me link product behavior to actual user intent. The customer support has also been outstanding; the experts have guided me through understanding our events within my company and which improvements I can make, making it much easier to interpret the data and achieve the outcomes I’m aiming for.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Amplitude is undoubtedly a powerful analytics tool, the extensive range of its features can feel somewhat overwhelming initially, especially as a new user. There is a definite learning curve when it comes to understanding how events and properties should be structured to achieve the most accurate insights, particularly if our data hasn't been perfectly instrumented from the start. However, I believe that with time and the help of their support team, the experience will become much smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The data is presented in a layout that is easy to monitor and understand, making it highly accessible.
Effortless Setup with Powerful Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Amplitude Analytics for about two to three months and find it invaluable for tracking performance and user usage across organizations. One of the standout features is its superior integration capabilities compared to other platforms, particularly for grouping events by organization rather than individual users. I appreciate how straightforward the setup process is, even with our use of Python for the backend and React for the frontend; it is very user-friendly. The easy setup of charts and dashboards is particularly beneficial, allowing us to efficiently track everything we need. Additionally, the pricing plans are well-suited for a startup like ours. The ability to group users by organizational identifiers as opposed to individual user IDs is an important benefit for our use case. Overall, the ease of setup and customization in dashboards and charts greatly enhances our productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, I found it difficult to "find" our events to analyze them and get started. Live events are already there but it's hard to find similar view for older events without building your own charts for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics to track user performance, measure time for requests, and manage AI platform interchanges. It simplifies setting up dashboards and grouping by organization, enhancing integration and ease of use.
Powerful Insights and Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude makes it easy to move from “what happened” to “why it happened.” Funnels, cohorts, retention, and pathing come together so you can test hypotheses about features, pricing, and packaging with real user behavior. The ability to define clear taxonomies, build reusable charts/dashboards, and segment by plan, geography, or lifecycle stage helps us find the “golden nuggets” that actually drive activation, conversion, and expansion—without waiting on ad-hoc SQL.
What do you dislike about the product?
Two areas could be stronger:
Governance & complexity: As the event schema grows, enforcing naming standards and avoiding duplicate events/properties takes discipline. Better guardrails and bulk management would help.
Advanced filtering ergonomics: Building precise segments that combine multiple events, user properties, and time windows is powerful but can feel fiddly; more guided templates and validations would reduce iteration time for non-analysts.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding & activation: Funnels and retention analyses pinpoint where users stall before the “aha” moment, informing copy, UX, and nudges that lift activation rates.
Feature impact & monetization: Cohorts and pathing reveal which behaviors correlate with conversion and paid retention, guiding roadmap priorities, pricing/packaging, and PQL scoring.
Experiment & iteration velocity: Shared dashboards and drill-downs align Product, Marketing, and Sales on a single source of truth, shortening the time from question → insight → change.

Powerful Property Tools, But Overwhelming Feature Set
What do you like best about the product?
The programmatic property definition method
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many features, and I don't have time to explore
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Amplitude for tracking my website's performance as a Google Analytics replacement. GA4 is a mess to me.
